Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 367: The Lounge's Thoughts and the Golden Egg

When Amanta pushed open the door to the Slytherin common room, it was still filled with the aroma of cake and hot cocoa.

Harry was sprawled on the sofa, with leftover cakes piled on his plate, while Draco was leaning against the fireplace, playing with a silver magic marble in his hand, looking lazy yet alert.

Hearing the door open, Draco was the first to look up.

He should have looked at others with his usual nonchalant attitude, but when his eyes fell on Amanta, he paused slightly.

There was a hint of detachment and thought in those light blue eyes—so faint that if he didn't know her so well, he wouldn't have noticed it at all.

Draco's fingers paused slightly, and the marble almost slipped through his fingers.

Amanta took off her cloak, casually draped it over the back of a chair, and walked over with a normal look.

"Harry, are you still alive?" She glanced at Harry, who was muttering that he was about to "burst", and raised the corners of her lips slightly.

"Just barely." Harry hiccuped and struggled to get up, like a stuffed toad.

Amanta laughed and was about to sit down when Draco suddenly spoke in a low voice with a hint of overly natural casualness:

"Where have you been?"

Amanta raised her eyebrows and said calmly, "Library."

Draco narrowed his eyes slightly, looking at her with a half-smile, not exposing her, but like a vigilant cat, his tail gently brushed across the surface of her emotions.

Amanta raised her hand to brush her hair, and asked in a nonchalant manner, "Why, do you want to check on me?"

"Hmph." Draco snorted, folding his arms and leaning back against the fireplace. "I'm not interested in wasting my time staring at someone who likes to keep secrets."

"You obviously care a lot." Harry came over and whispered, but Draco glared back at him.

Amanta was too lazy to tease him any further, so she sat down gracefully, picked up the small box containing the golden egg from the table, and pushed it gently.

"Instead of staring at me, think about this."

The golden egg rolled on the table, making a dull clicking sound.

The atmosphere among the trio suddenly became tense.

Harry was the first to frown. "Who knows how to turn this damn thing on? I tried it, and it made a lot of noise, like a thousand mandrakes screaming!"

"Idiot." Draco glanced at him with disdain. "That is a specially set up spell barrier. Of course it won't be easy for you to hear clearly."

"You heard that?" Harry shot back.

Draco was silent for a second, then looked away with a cold face: "…Not yet."

Harry immediately gave a "you see" expression.

Amanta held her chin and listened to the bickering between the two people nonchalantly, with a barely perceptible smile in her eyes.

Of course, she knew the secret of the golden egg.

You can only hear the real clues underwater.

But she wouldn't be stupid enough to reveal this secret now.

After all, the second game of the Triwizard Tournament will not be until February of next year, so there is plenty of time.

Besides, she didn't want to easily reveal the fact that she knew too much.

So, Amanta very skillfully pretended to be confused and thinking seriously:

"Maybe... some special method is needed to unlock the clue?"

She tapped the surface of the golden egg thoughtfully. "But it's still early before the next game. We have plenty of time to study it slowly."

Draco crossed his arms and snorted, "I don't want to wait until the last second to find out what monster I'm going to face."

Harry spread his hands nonchalantly: "Anyway, Amanta is here, I'm not worried."

"Don't put all your hopes on her, Harry." Draco said coldly, "You have to rely on yourself, do you understand?"

Harry nodded and winked at Amanta secretly, smiling as if he had just sneaked back from the kitchen.

Amanta rubbed her temples helplessly, feeling that these two boys were like two oversized pets.

But she knew very well in her heart that

No matter what the road ahead holds, the three of them will always walk side by side.

As long as this remains unchanged, nothing else matters.

The fire in the lounge was warm, and in the distance came the sound of water lapping against the shore of the Black Lake.

The golden egg rolled around on the table and finally stopped quietly between the three people.
