Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 86: Quidditch Match is a Lively Event

Amanta has read almost all the books about Quidditch in the library these days.

"The Origin of Quidditch", "The Beater's Bible", "Hitting the Bludger - A Study of Quidditch Defensive Strategy"...

In theory, the Seeker's task is deceptively simple: Don't worry about any other people or balls - just find the Snitch and the Seeker has completed his mission.

But the Seeker can be considered the core of the entire team.

Finding the Golden Snitch not only means a huge bonus for your team, but also means the end of the game.

In some Quidditch tactical books, such as The Beater's Bible, the first rule listed is "Kill the Seeker".

Therefore, the Seeker is often the most dangerous position on the team.

Marcus therefore reminded her many times: "Good girl, this is your first time playing in a match. You should know that those stupid big guys in Gryffindor are the most impulsive and reckless. I hope you can ensure your own safety rather than finding the Golden Snitch."

However, considering that she was just a first-grade girl, Marcus did not have much confidence in her.

"Gryffindor will definitely not be able to defeat us, so... even if they force you to be unable to find the Golden Snitch, you can just interfere with their Seeker and delay time so that we can score a few more goals."

Amanta just nodded and said, "It would be great if I could find the Golden Snitch."

It was a clear and cold Saturday morning. The hall was filled with the tempting smell of grilled sausages, and everyone was looking forward to today's Quidditch match.

"Harry, why aren't you eating today?"

Amanta asked in amazement.

Harry held his chin with his hand and stared at the candles on the ceiling in annoyance, not even picking up the cutlery.

Normally, Harry would have started eating with relish.

But today Harry was uncharacteristically calm. There was a plate of hot grilled sausages and raspberry jam in front of him, but he didn't even take a bite.

"I don't want to eat anything. I can't eat."

Harry said distressedly.

Draco curled his lips, and there were faint shadows under his eyes.

"Since last night, he has been acting crazy, getting up every once in a while and asking, 'Draco, is it time to go to Amanta's game in the morning?' -"

Draco imitated Harry's tone in a weird way, and Amanta couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"It was like he was the one playing Quidditch instead of you," Draco complained sleepily. "I got so sleepy afterwards that I had to use a Stunning Charm on him."

"Stop talking about it, that feels terrible."

Harry touched the back of his head with lingering fear, and suddenly, he took a breath of cold air in pain.

"Oh, right." He seemed to remember something. "Amanta, I can not eat, but you have to eat more."

Harry enthusiastically forked some of the food in front of him and put it on Amanta's plate, which soon piled up into a small peak in front of Amanta.

"Harry...this is too much. I can't eat any more."

Amanta looked at the mountain of food on the plate with a headache.

"Amanta, I heard that Quidditch matches will focus on guarding against seekers, so eat more to have strength."

Draco solemnly pushed the plate of grilled sausages in front of Amanta.

Amanta said helplessly: "Draco, how come even you..."

The two people beside her stared at her plate eagerly, and would immediately fill it up once it was empty.

She finally had to force them to stop their evil hands by saying that if they ate too much they would become a glutton and unable to ride a broom.

It was almost eleven o'clock when they all walked towards the Quidditch pitch.

Harry and Draco found a seat at the top of the stands. Draco called Goyle, Crabbe, Blaise and Syrio, and together they raised a banner that had been prepared long ago.

The banner had the words "Amanta Merlin Will Win" written in large silver-green font, with the Slytherin house emblem in the background and a Q-version figure of Amanta drawn in the lower right corner.

The Gryffindor on the opposite side was not to be outdone, and waved their arms and raised several large Gryffindor flags.

But Amanta didn't see any of this yet. She went to the locker room with the other Slytherin Quidditch players and changed into the dark green Quidditch uniforms with them.

After changing his clothes, Captain Marcus Flint cleared his throat loudly.

"Boys and girls, I have nothing to say, just beat them mercilessly as usual - Slytherin will win!"

"Slytherin must win!" all the team members shouted.

"Protect Merlin, boy."

Marcus came over and patted the batsman Boal's chest hard.

Boer, a sturdy senior boy, also patted his chest muscles vigorously and said, "Of course!"

"Okay, it's time, everyone get ready--"

Amanta followed Marcus out of the locker room, and as soon as they appeared, the stadium was immediately filled with cheers.

——She raised her eyes and saw the banner that read "Amanta Merlin Must Win", and below it were Harry and Draco's red faces from the cold.

Many Slytherins put aside their usual reserve, stood up, waved their pointed wizard hats, and cheered loudly for them.

"Slytherin must win!!"

"Glory to Slytherin!"

Crabbe and Goyle held hands and held up a banner, shouting loudly: "Merlin will win!"

Amanta could hear their shouts clearly from such a distance.

Amid the deafening cheers, she suddenly felt her heartbeat begin to leap up.

Even if it felt a little strange to her.

Although on the other side of the field, the Gryffindors were booing loudly.

"Shh-hot Slytherin!"

"Slytherin must be ruined!"

Bol didn't care. He snorted through his nose, "My bat will make these Gryffindors cry and go home to their mothers!"

Madam Hooch glared at him. "I hope everyone will participate in the competition honestly and fairly, and not do anything unnecessary."

Madam Hooch stood in the middle of the field with her broom, waiting for all the players to gather.

"You may now ride your broomsticks."

Amanta mounted her Nimbus 2000, and Madam Hooch blew hard on her silver whistle, and fifteen brooms rose high into the sky.

The game begins——

"The Quaffle was immediately snatched up by Angelina Johnson. I must say, this Gryffindor girl is an excellent Chaser and has such an attractive appearance - ouch!"

"Jordan!"

"I'm sorry, Professor."

The commentator, Lee Jordan, explained the contents of the game eloquently, mixing in some personal opinions from time to time - which made Professor McGonagall always twist his ears.
