Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 94 Amanta's Strangeness and Suspicion

Professor McGonagall glared at Amanta sternly and hurriedly left Amanta's dormitory.

Amanta still maintained a humble smile on her face: "Good luck to you, professor."

She wasn't worried that Spalow would tell Professor McGonagall anything.

Just in case, she cast another Oblivion Charm on the stupid big guy as she left the Shrieking Shack.

Coupled with the forgetfulness spell that Peter Pettigrew had used on him before, he might have become a little... mentally retarded during this period of time.

After all, being used with the Oblivion Spell twice in a short period of time would be too much for anyone to handle.

But...what does this have to do with her?

Amanta watched Professor McGonagall go away, and her eyes fell slightly on Professor Snape beside her.

Professor Snape seemed to have no intention of catching up with Professor McGonagall. Instead, he was staring at her with a strange and inquiring look.

Amanta ignored his gaze, but raised her eyebrows slightly and walked to the window, stroking the huge crystal containing magic power that served as the window glass.

It had been a long time since she had really touched these things, and she missed the familiar feeling.

"Professor?" She reminded Snape nonchalantly, "As a young male professor, it would not be a good idea for you to appear alone in a girl's dormitory if the news got out."

"Really?" Snape asked back.

"I'm sorry Professor, please forgive me for saying this, but as a professor and the Head of Slytherin, you must know better than me."

Amanta lowered her eyes and said lightly.

As soon as she lowered her eyes, a few letters scattered on the desk came into her sight.

She raised her light golden eyelashes and glanced at the letters.

These letters came from...Osena, the abbess of the orphan monastery, and a Muggle teacher named Carina.

She frowned in disgust.

Dirty Muggles, filthy orphanage...it really made her feel sick to her stomach.

I don't know how this Merlin can stand these places.

These orphanages... would definitely be the first places she would wipe out after she returned and took over the Muggle world.

"Miss Merlin?" Snape interrupted her thoughts. "I have something else to ask you about today."

Snape looked at Amanta with emotionless eyes, his deep eyes were like a black hole that swallowed all emotions.

"I'm happy to help, Professor."

Amanta raised a gentle and polite smile, but there was a hint of subtle provocation in this smile.

Do you think she can't notice?

She had discovered from Professor McGonagall's presence just now that Snape had been secretly using Legilimency on her during this period of time.

Snape probably noticed something strange. After all, he, Tom Riddle, couldn't imitate a first-grade girl 100%.

As an excellent master of Legilimency, Snape planned to explore her brain thoughts without anyone noticing.

But he hadn't realized yet that he was facing an excellent Occlumency master.

Tom calmly cleared his mind and showed Amanta the silly behaviors of Potter and Malfoy in her memories.

As he expected, Snape's inquiring gaze turned slightly confused and irritated.

But Snape hid his feelings well and continued to ask coldly: "So, what happened to you and Sparaud after you caught the Golden Snitch?"

Amanta pouted, "Nothing, just a portkey that teleported us to a haunted house and tied us up. I thought it was a new kind of prank by Fred and George."

"...Okay." Snape's deep gaze lingered on her face.

Amanta knew that Snape didn't get any of the information she wanted.

All he could do now was wait for Professor McGonagall and Sparlow to come back and check all the clues.

But unfortunately, he may be disappointed.

……

"Do you feel that Amanta... seems a little strange since she came back?"

Harry looked at Amanta, who was sitting far away from them at the far end of the long table, nibbling on a piece of cranberry pie with an expressionless face.

He tilted his head and asked Draco quietly.

"Hmm..." Draco frowned. Although he didn't want to admit it, his intuition told him that something was wrong.

He and Harry had been sitting in the common room early this morning waiting for Amanta.

Harry had been wondering yesterday what had happened to Amanta that made her so tired that she had no mood to talk to them, and whether Amanta was injured.

In fact, he didn't need to say it, he always felt that Amanta who came back yesterday was a little strange.

But I can’t tell what the problem is.

Maybe she was just really tired?

Considering Harry's habit of turning over in bed and yelling whenever he thought of something after going to bed, and the fact that he was a little worried about Amanta...

The end result was that neither of them slept well.

He and Harry were yawning in the common room, waiting for Amanta to come out of her dormitories.

Harry sat at the wooden table in the common room and actually closed his eyes several times. Twice, he even snored softly.

Draco woke him up reluctantly.

"Harry, wake up. Didn't you say that we should get up early and wait for Amanta here?"

"Hey...Draco, don't worry, I will definitely be the first to see Amanta when she comes out."

Having said that, when Amanta actually walked out of the dormitory, the two of them were already sleeping soundly next to each other.

Under the influence of gravity, Draco's head was pulled suddenly towards the ground.

It was this pull that sobered him up a little. He raised his head and opened his eyes hazily.

Suddenly, he seemed to see a figure that looked like Amanta's back, but... that figure disappeared at the corner staircase at the exit of the common room in an instant.

In an instant, his sleepiness was mostly gone.

He quickly shook Harry, who was drooling on his shoulder, awake.

"Wake up! Harry."

"Hmm... not tasty... what's wrong?" Harry half opened his eyes sleepily.

"Amanta...seems to have left the common room."

"What! What did you say?"

Harry's eyes widened immediately, and it was obvious that these words made his sleepiness disappear.

"I just seemed to see...Amanta's back as she walked out of the door of the common room."

"Really...? Are you sure you didn't see it wrong? No way, how could Amanta not see us and not come to find us..."

Harry looked at him suspiciously. "Maybe you were too sleepy, so you saw it wrongly... And there seem to be quite a few girls with light blond curly hair in Slytherin."

Draco frowned slightly.

"It should be... It's unlikely to be someone else. I can recognize her from behind at a glance."
