Zerg: An incredible way to survive
Chapter 5 Defeat
After two weeks of unremitting efforts, the humans who were causing chaos on the ground finally wiped out my thousands of ordinary Zerg.
They actually used such an inefficient method to cultivate to such a high level, that's not right! When did the Zerg become so vulnerable?
Next, the Zerg reported the process of their death:
We were first attacked by them. They used long weapons that needed to be charged, and then condensed small earth magic at the tip of the weapon for firing. The damage was not high, but there was no pre-casting swing and the accuracy was very high. In addition, there were a large number of people, resulting in intensive firepower.
But even with such firepower, it was not enough to defeat so many Zergs.
Then he reported: Later they used a disposable flying prop, which looked similar to a fire magic storage device. The explosion power was not strong, but it would cause a strong shock wave, which directly shattered most of the ordinary Zerg.
This makes me very surprised. When did humans develop new weapons? I can't even beat those old immortals, let alone new weapons of humans.
Although I felt like I was caught off guard in this battle, this is also the enemy's tactic. In this case, I have to fight back.
I sent out several special Zerg groups, with the main purpose of leading their battlefield to another place. With these special flying props, they would have to take a detour when going out, so I sent troops to lead them away first.
When ordering other Zerg to retrieve the core stored underground, the losses must be minimized.
You can also try out some of my previous experiments to see how they work.
The first one I released was a bear controlled by the Zerg. I also deliberately let another Zerg lie on it to form armor. This armor was a countermeasure I thought of against the weapons they just used. It can absorb fire damage and impact damage to the greatest extent.
I felt a sense of relief as I watched a bear quickly rush into their formation and saw the humans' excitement gradually turn into fear.
Then I released a few more "animals". Since they were fighting at close range and did not release any flying props, it was difficult to defeat these "animals".
We immediately ordered them to retrieve the core.
Watching the fight between the "animals" and humans, he said to the beautiful woman standing next to him: "Watch carefully, these are the few combat materials. You can also give orders to assist other Zerg in the battle."
Just as I was about to start talking, I received a report from the fighters on the ground.
"Mother Worm, they have used a new type of weapon, a large iron box. The "animals" fighting on it were caught off guard and were suppressed by the two iron boxes. Please give new orders."
When did human weapons evolve so quickly? Before I could think carefully, another report came in. I simply gave the order to retreat without thinking too much.
If you can't beat me, can't you hide from me?
Looking at this conflict with humans, the losses were really heavy. We lost several ordinary Zergs, which was a small number. The main thing was that my experimental subjects were controlled by them. If they really couldn't escape, they could only self-destruct.
It took so long to get those experimental subjects, and now most of them have been wasted. I started to calculate the time wasted in these few months.
During this moment of sadness, I began to think about the future of the Zerg.
Even without sending out those old guys, humans have such powerful weapons to suppress us. What's more, I don't have any particularly strong guards now, and I can't expose my whereabouts and be discovered by them.
We can't go to the ground for now. Let's see when they leave, or assassinate them one by one.
But seeing how they've set up camp there, assassination may be the only option left for me, or if all else fails I'll just have to dig a tunnel and move my nest.
I'm not a coward, it's just that the descriptions about human beings are too outrageous, for example: he loved her, she pursued her, she killed her; he loved her, she fell in love with her again, he was with her, she married him, and so on.
This is why they love to kill each other the most, and they also say that they are irrational when they are together and it is best to stay away from them.
With so many precedents, my current preparation is to move the nest. This nest must be moved, but I must also kill the human queen.
I ordered the captured experimental subjects to self-destruct before they were forced into the iron box. A month's hard work was wasted in an instant, which was really a pity.
Looking at the people next to me, I felt a little better. At least there was nothing unexpected about this unexpected product.
So he began to think seriously about her usefulness, and began to ask her: "Aren't you bored staying here?"
"No, you're with me, aren't you?" she answered me with a smile.
"This battle was a failure. I originally wanted to use some ordinary Zerg to lure out humans with detectors for testing. As long as you can pass the test, I will send you to perform other tasks. But it seems that the human race is fighting among themselves, so the experiment on you can only be suspended. Now I need you to take over part of my work." I explained to her the purpose of this battle and the work she needed to do.
I asked again: "Do you have a name in your human memory?"
She didn't answer but was recalling. Looking at her twisted brows, I guessed that she didn't know.
I interrupted her thoughts and said, "Okay, don't think about it. I'll give you a new name now." I paused and thought for a while.
"Then your new name will be Fan Shuang. From now on, you will be my deputy and you need to help me manage the internal affairs of the Zerg." He gave the order.
Looking at the person in front of me with a happy face and still murmuring her new name, I couldn't help but want to touch her. Even though she was the child that made me suffer for so long, I had even more feelings for her in my heart.
After that, I handed over some migration tasks to her, and I took a team underground to start digging for some precious metals needed for the formation.
As for this cave, it would be best if I bury everything after I leave so that they won’t find any trace of me.
Soon, the entire Zerg race began to get busy, and from time to time I would ask Fan Shuang to interfere with the humans on the ground.
See if we can steal their weapons for research, but they are still as careless as before.
All the weapons are placed in one house. Well, they still look down on people as before.
The Zerg stole some of them and disassembled them for research. Looking at those colorful and strange-shaped weapons, I felt dazed. Human weapons are still so strange.
Fan Shuang seemed to be very interested in this batch of weapons. I was too lazy to disassemble them myself, so I gave this important task to her, and she was very happy to accept the task.
I continued mining underground, trying to dig out all the rare metals underground before she finished analyzing the weapon.
