The 1931th Division of the National Revolutionary Army was reorganized from the former 12nd Division of the National Guard in December 2 and completed in December 1936. It consisted of a division's direct troops, two infantry brigades, and two supplementary regiments. It was one of the three most elite German-equipped divisions in the army.

In the end, the 101st Infantry Division was organized into three infantry regiments, a heavy artillery regiment, an armored regiment, an aviation regiment, a pontoon battalion, a baggage battalion, a special service battalion, a communications company and a field hospital.

There will be nearly 100 people in the entire division, and all personnel will be selected from the entire army.

The concept of the 101st Infantry Division's existence is to serve as an elite force. This can be seen from the selection of its soldiers. They do not recruit soldiers from ordinary people, but from all security regiments. If you want to join the 101st Infantry Division, you must have at least one unique skill.

The reason why all the soldiers want to join the 101st Infantry Division, in addition to the honor, is the monthly salary of twelve dollars, which is two dollars higher than other armies. The 101st Infantry Division completely abandoned the mm mortars. The mm mortars were lighter to carry, so they could be used as platoon-level support weapons. The company-level support weapons were directly replaced with mm mortars.

Each regiment has an artillery company, which focuses on long-range attacks. Since 100mm mortars have already reached the company, most of the equipment in the regimental-level artillery company are howitzers.

All 36 newly arrived German-made 150mm Krupp cannons were given to the 101st Infantry Division.

Sun Liren's newly trained armored regiment was also incorporated into the 101st Infantry Division.

The German instructors who transported the artillery saw the appearance of the 101st Infantry Division, and then observed their exercises the next day. Finally, they came to the conclusion that even the German SS 101st Division was not much different from the st Infantry Division. Of course, the Germans would not admit this. They just said that everything needed to be tested on the battlefield, and the quality of a unit could not be judged on the training ground.
