This girl is a streetwalker in the demon world

Chapter 77: Haunted House Adventure

Not long after An Ling left, Lin Yuzhou stood in front of the "Desire Realm Red Dust" replicator again, clenching and unclenching his fists many times, as if he was suppressing something.

He sensed something, looked in the direction of Jiang Ning, sighed, and said to himself: "Jiang Ning, there will be chaos."

……

An Ling continued to wear her rags, trudging through the mountains with a dusty face. She looked up at the dense forest where not even the sun could penetrate, and cursed, "How come the ecology is still so well maintained near the big city? Can't these trees be smaller?"

Although it didn't have much nutritional value, An Ling just wanted to curse to relieve her boredom.

She had been walking for almost three days, but she hadn't even gotten out of this broken mountain yet!

There are traces of people walking on this path: the grass and trees have been trampled into a path wide enough for one person to walk on, and there are often some sundries such as inkstones and books next to it. It seems that what Lin Yuzhou said is true, and the students of the academy do often walk on this path.

"Hey, let's take a break." An Ling put her hands on her waist and panted. She used the scabbard of the Xiangzhu Sword as a hiking stick and fiddled with the flowers and plants beside her out of boredom. "When can we get to Jiangning..."

Suddenly, she saw something on the stone that was hidden by the grass half a person's height. But it was too dark for her to see clearly. She moved closer to see some crooked words:

"My senior from the academy tricked me here, tore my bones, peeled off my skin, and made my head into a lantern, which I hang on the haunted house every day. Run, run quickly, no matter how far you run, you can't escape my sight..."

An Ling shuddered and murmured, "This is a ghost story, who would play a prank here for no reason..."

She looked down and saw a line of twisted small words at the bottom of the stone: "Anyone who sees this, run! It's coming!"

An Ling suddenly felt as if someone was watching her from behind. She turned her head but didn't see anyone.

"Oh my god, it's not haunted again...wait, why did I say again?" An Ling complained.

The "person" behind seemed dissatisfied that An Ling was not scared at all. It blew a breath of cold air on the back of An Ling's neck, which scared An Ling so much that she got goose bumps all over her body.

An Ling rolled her eyes and walked forward quickly. Sure enough, after she had walked for a while, she saw a "lantern" emitting fire in the distance. Behind the lantern, there seemed to be a huge black shadow.

"Is this the haunted house?" An Ling said with a smile.

She completely ignored the cool air blowing behind her, and walked to the "haunted house" leisurely as if she was traveling, holding her chin and observing with interest the lantern that was said to be made from the head of the missing student.

This lantern hung on the door looked like a gray human head with the tongue sticking out and a candle fixed on the tongue. The eyes were rolled up, and it didn't look very smart.

An Ling stared at the human head lantern for a long time, and it blinked awkwardly and glanced away, as if a little embarrassed.

An Ling shook her head. She was trying to scare people. Back then, she was facing a sky full of human head lanterns in Tianxing Mansion with just a sword and she was not panicked at all. This crude imitation was even worse.

"Your skills are not good enough, how can the evil creature be so clean? Also, where are the intestines underneath? It's not professional at all." An Ling commented and then walked into the haunted house.

As soon as you enter the door, a huge word "甸" comes into view. The whole hall is decorated like a mourning hall. There are two children, a boy and a girl, kneeling on the ground with their backs to An Ling, and faint sounds of crying can be heard.

An Ling took a closer look and found that the boy was actually a puppet, the same size as a real person. Just looking at it from the back, it looked so lifelike that it was hard to tell that it was not a real person.

There were originally two large white candles lit in the mourning hall. After An Ling came in, a gust of cold wind blew through the hall, and the candles suddenly went out, and An Ling fell into darkness again.

An Ling frowned. Although she was reluctant, she still lit the willow lantern that Aunt Zhou gave her. The lighting effect of the willow lantern was almost the same as having no lamp at all. She lit a tinder to supplement the light.

An Ling's calf was held by something unknown, but she continued to walk inside as if nothing had happened. She shook her legs hard, and the thing holding her calf was thrown out. She heard someone scream, and then there was the sound of something heavy hitting the tables and chairs. It was so painful to hear.

"Oh, I'm so scared." An Ling said cheerfully, "Let me see what good things are inside this big coffin..."

"You...mmmm--" It seemed like someone was talking, but An Ling didn't want to pay any attention to it. She was only thinking about speeding through.

When An Ling passed by the two boy puppets, she bent down and took a closer look at the boy's faces. After confirming that they were puppets, she sighed with some disappointment and continued to observe her surroundings with a patrolling eye, sighing as she looked.

"Bang!" Something else fell to the ground.

An Ling walked forward, went around to the coffin from the right, blew out her fire starter, and used only the willow lamp for lighting. Under the dim light, the coffin board with a huge traditional Chinese character "Shou" engraved on it looked very scary, and combined with the surrounding arrangement, it gave people a creepy feeling.

An Ling pushed the coffin lid gently with one hand, but found that she didn't have the strength to push it open with one hand. After thinking for a while, she came up with an idea.

An Ling gathered his energy in his dantian, half squatted down, and used his shoulder to hit the coffin. This move is also known as "Iron Mountain Lean", a martial arts move.

"Bang!" Because An Ling was healthy and strong, the whole coffin was overturned by the collision, and the things inside poured out.

"Ouch! My leg! It hurts so much!" A young man's voice rang out from inside the coffin, sounding really miserable.

An Ling walked around to the back with great interest, squatted down and shone a willow lantern on him, "Tsk, tsk, tsk, this is... a ghost bride? How can there be a male ghost bride? Look at her red mouth, maybe she just ate a child?"

By this time, they had tried all their tricks, so they all came out reluctantly. The last one to come out even lit a candle, and the whole hall was lit up, making the childish arrangements seem even more ridiculous.

It turns out that this so-called "haunted house" was set up by five young men to play a prank on people.

The "ghost bride" climbed out of the coffin and boldly lifted up her skirt, revealing a pair of black hairy legs. An Ling turned her head away in disgust.

"Yuzi, your whole leg is blue." The only female member among the five pointed at the hairy legs and reminded.

"If it weren't for this guy, I wouldn't be injured like this!" said the "Ghost Bride" angrily.

An Ling crossed her arms cheerfully, watching several people chattering and "passing the buck", feeling that this is what youth is all about, even when they mess up, they are so consistent in blaming each other.
