Heather was still a minor, so Luke was very considerate of her.

When Heather woke up in the morning, the first thing she saw was Luke's handsome face.

So she didn't rush to get up and looked at Luke curiously.

"Is Lilith your woman too?"

Luke smiled and pinched Heather's chin.

"No, she's really my assistant."

Heather asked Luke with a pout, a little unconvinced.

"I don't believe it. Why has she been living at your place before?"

"She just came here, and Old John asked me to help take care of her. You should be able to sense that Lilith is a bit more rational and rigid."

Heather nodded.

"Yes, a little bit, but I noticed that she has gotten better recently, and I thought it was you..."

Luke sighed in his heart. It was really him who did it.

But he couldn't explain it to Heather, so he started to change the subject.

"So, you think this kind of thing makes women better?"

Heather nodded, then shook her head quickly.

"I just learned about this yesterday. Well... it was painful at first... but later on, the feeling was... so exciting..."

Luke tapped Heather's forehead playfully with his finger.

"Don't dwell on this. Study hard in your new school."

"I heard from Angela that you can speak several foreign languages. Why don't you teach me?"

Heather excitedly hugged Luke's neck, and Luke lowered his head.

The headlights nearly blinded Luke.

So he began to educate Heather with a serious expression.

But Heather is a poor student...

Before Luke had time to teach her a lesson, she cried out that she couldn't stand it anymore...

But Heather is also a studious girl who strives to improve herself even when her body cannot bear it.

The next day, Lilith moved back to the villa in Malibu with Heather.

After Lilith came back with her luggage, she looked at Luke helplessly.

"You guys mated?"

"Uh... Lilith, can you change your words for that beastly address?"

Lilith shrugged.

“There is no essential difference.”

Luke decisively denied her words.

"No, there is a difference. The beast will eventually reproduce, but I won't."

At this point, Luke couldn't help but feel a pain in his heart.

Damn it, I was so busy thinking about the treasure that I forgot to ask my cheap master what was going on.

So Heather lived a happy life, going to school with Angela and her two sisters every day, and asking Luke to give her extra lessons at night.

A few days later, Luke suddenly received a call.

The call was from his good friend at the FBI Academy, the spirited young man Brian (see Chapter 21 for details).

"Hey, Brian, how's the internship going?"

Luke thought that the internship period for these students was about to end, so he spoke in a relaxed tone.

But Brian's voice on the other end was very low.

"Hey, Luke, Alex (Luke's ex-girlfriend at the FBI Academy, see Chapter 20 for details) is in trouble."

"What happened?"

Brian hesitated on the other end of the phone and said:

"There was a terrorist attack at Grand Central Station in New York, and one of the entrances collapsed. Alex was found at the explosion site, and now all the evidence is against her."

Hearing this, Luke burst into swear words:

"Wardfake? Does the FBI branch in New York eat shit? How could it be Alex?"

"I don't know the details. The person in charge of this case now is Instructor O'Connor."

Luke looked gloomy, thought for a while and said:

"Brian, how is Alex now?"

Brian sighed and said:

"Principal Miranda released her privately, and now we are looking for her throughout New York."

"I understand. I will rush over as soon as possible. If there is any news, inform me immediately. Don't do anything else. Just follow the instructions of your superiors."

"OK, I know what to do, and I don't believe Alex did it either."

"Thanks, Brian. I owe you one."

Brian on the other end of the phone finally felt a little relieved.

"Wow, it's not easy to make a rich man like you owe someone a favor."

Luke also smiled and said:

"That's settled. I'll be there as soon as possible."

After hanging up the phone, Luke immediately contacted Lilith.

"Help me check the New York Grand Central Station bombing this morning. I want first-hand information."

"Okay, boss."

"Please help me arrange the plane and the car. I want to go to Quantico..."

After saying that, Luke picked up the phone and dialed again.

"Hey, Frank, how are my guys doing in practice?"

"Luke? They're all excellent, but Mulder's level is just barely reaching the top grade among the recruits."

Luke thought for a moment and said:

"What about other aspects?"

Frank answered without hesitation:

"Those two girls lack physical strength, but they are very good at shooting and tactics. Mudd is barely good too."

"OK, let them get ready. I'll go to Quantico to pick them up for a mission later."

"Ok."

"Thank you, Frank. It was a bit urgent this time. I'll buy you a drink next time."

"Ha, I've got that in mind. I heard you have a lot of good wine at home. I must try it."

"no problem."

After arranging the team's affairs, Luke then called Attorney General Dougherty.

"Luke?"

"Mr. Doherty, have you heard about the bombing at New York's Grand Central Station?"

"Yes, President Marshall is also concerned about this matter. He is about to leave office, and this matter is quite serious."

"It's like this. My classmates at the FBI Academy are all currently interning in New York. One of my classmates is wanted, and the existing evidence is very unfavorable to her..."

"Is your classmate a girl?"

"Uh...yeah."

"You slept with her?"

"Teacher Doherty, I know what you want to say, but please believe me. I believe her too. No one knows her better than me."

Doherty on the other end of the phone rubbed his forehead.

Although Luke has always been reliable and stable, this matter involves...

"I'll discuss this with President Marshall. This is more than just a terrorist attack."

"Okay, Mr. Doherty, I'll wait for your news."

After hanging up the phone, Luke took Lilith to the airport.

It's New York again, what a bad place with feng shui.

Suddenly Luke thought of someone again.

So he took out his phone and made a call.

"Luke?"

"Hey, Director Anthony, this is Luke." (The Utah FBI director who wanted to recruit Luke after the Wolcott Lake incident. See Chapters 8 and 9 for details.)

"Last time I heard you say you went to New York, how was it?"

Manager Anthony on the other end of the phone was silent for a while and then said:

"The waters there are too deep. Later, my old boss and I went to the CIA. Is there anything that requires my intervention?"

Luke thought about it and simply told Manager Anthony what happened.

Supervisor Anthony said to Luke:

"The FBI over there is very complex. All my original people left with me. The remaining people are not in high positions and can only provide you with limited help. I can provide you with the contact information of a few old friends."

"Thanks, Director Anthony. When you return to the United States, I'll treat you to a drink."

"Haha, I've never been willing to drink the bottle of wine you gave me last time. I must have a drink when I get back."

"OK, it's a deal."
