Luke took Terry to the Park Police Department.

Here Luke took out his ID and requisitioned Terry's file.

Then Terry resigned from the Utah National Park Police Department completely.

Then Luke took Terry to her home.

After leaving the Park Police Department, Terry was in a very low mood.

Luke smiled and comforted her.

"After this incident has passed, you can come back and see them occasionally."

Terry nodded mechanically.

Although she knew that Luke had done well enough for her, she still felt reluctant to leave the place where she had lived since childhood.

Terri asked Luke at the door of their home.

"How are you going to arrange for me?"

Luke thought for a moment and gave Terry a few options.

"Into my family business, or the LAPD."

Terry hesitated for a while, but still didn't give Luke a definite answer.

"Let me think about it."

Luke nodded.

"Yes, you still have plenty of time. At least in Los Angeles, you don't have to worry about accommodation."

After getting out of the car, Terry turned back and asked Luke.

"Um, can I join you?"

Luke shook his head.

"The professional requirements here are too high. I'm afraid you won't be able to do it with your high school diploma."

"Okay." Terry returned to her home with a frustrated look on her face.

In the car, Luke took out his cell phone and dialed.

Terry came out of the house not long after.

He took the two large suitcases, put them in the trunk of the roadblock, and then returned to the passenger seat.

"Okay, let's go."

In the car, Terry asked Luke.

“What would I do if I went to your business?”

"Then it depends on what you are good at."

After thinking it over, Terry became frustrated again.

"I found myself so stupid and I can't do anything..."

Luke smiled and said to her:

"Would you like to hear my advice?"

Terry nodded hastily.

"I suggest you go to the LAPD, but you need to go through 6 weeks of training, and this time you will be doing clerical work."

Terri asked Luke hesitantly.

"Can I do it? I don't think I'm qualified for office work."

"Don't worry, you will be trained for all of this. How will you know if you can't do it if you don't try?"

"Okay, I'll take your advice. It's already like this, and it's better than dying."

Luke couldn't help but laugh. This girl was so silly and cute. Hill was so lucky.

Following the Utah highway, we finally arrived in Las Vegas.

Luke took Terry into his uncle's Caesars Casino Hotel.

Terry is only 20 years old and joined the Utah National Park Police Department after graduating from high school.

Because she was a local and the National Park Police Department was always short of staff, Terry was able to easily get into the Park Police Department.

Like most Americans, I didn't go to college, so I could only find a job locally, get married and have children, and then rarely traveled outside of my hometown in my life.

When Terry arrived at the super luxurious hotel in Las Vegas, she was like Liu Laolao entering the Grand View Garden, and everything aroused her curiosity.

Luke's cousin (Luke's grandmother's nephew, see Chapter 2 for details) once again warmly welcomed Luke's arrival.

"Oh, my little Skywalker, you finally brought your girlfriend to visit my cousin."

Terry is still curious...

Luke hugged his uncle and waved.

"She's not my girlfriend, she's my friend's girlfriend."

After a look of surprise, the cousin gave Luke a thumbs up.

"Our little Skywalker is amazing. You young people really know how to have fun..."

"Uh... no, I brought her here to pick up my friend who is serving at Nellis Air Force Base."

My uncle waved his hand.

"It's okay. You youngsters can play your own games. Last time you took the kids there, there was nothing to play. This time, help me see if there is anything I can improve."

Luke said helplessly:

"Uncle, the operation here is already very mature. If nothing else, you several big families can unite to hold some events from time to time, so that you can attract more tourists."

"Good idea, I've made note of it. Let's go to the casino and take a stroll."

"Uncle, if you have something to say, just tell me."

The cousin scratched his head awkwardly and said to Luke seriously:

"Recently, there is a group of young people in all the major casinos who can win a lot of money every time. We suspect they are using some cheating methods, but we can't find out no matter how hard we try. I want you to help me find out. You are the smartest person in our family."

"Okay, take me to see it."

"I'll take you to the monitoring room. They're not in the casino right now."

"My friend..."

"Don't worry, I'll get someone to take her out for fun, and I'll cover all the expenses."

Luke turned to look at the confused Terry and spread his hands.

"Go ahead and play. Hill will contact me after he finishes the formalities. Then he can play with you."

Then Terry showed an excited expression.

"Yes, I've wanted to come to Las Vegas for a long time."

Then the uncle told his assistant to take Terry out to play, and then he took Luke to the monitoring room.

This place is very large, and it looks more like a command center than a monitoring room.

There are hundreds of surveillance cameras on three walls, monitoring every corner of the casino.

There are also dozens of staff members and professional analysts staring at every screen.

The uncle took Luke to an operating table and asked the staff to pull up the surveillance footage of the group of people who came to the casino a few days ago.

Luke stared at the surveillance footage for more than two hours.

Then he replayed it while thinking.

Finally, he smiled and said to his serious uncle:

"Congratulations, uncle, you have found a treasure."

The cousin looked at the smiling Luke with a confused look on his face.

"Wardfake? Are these guys experts?"

Luke nodded, then shook his head.

The cousin pulled Luke anxiously.

"Come on, explain it clearly."

Luke asked the operator to start playing back the surveillance footage and then explain it to his cousin.

"They didn't cheat, but these people are all geniuses with high IQs. They are proficient in mathematical calculations and use probability models to calculate the winning rate, thereby achieving the goal of winning money."

The uncle looked at Luke suspiciously.

"Nephew, I have little education, so please don't lie to me."

Luke patted his shoulder and said with a smile:

"We are family, how could I lie to you? Wait until they come again and I will talk to them."

The cousin scratched his head and said to Luke:

"Can I invite them over now?"

Luke glanced at his uncle.

"Are you inviting me here in a serious manner? I don't know what our family's style is. There's no rush for this matter."

"So what do you mean by finding a treasure?"

"Their mathematical talents can help casinos calculate their odds and adjust the odds of some bets, which is much more useful than computers."

The uncle thought for a while and patted Luke on the shoulder.

"Okay, nephew, I'll listen to you."

"Uncle, you have been in good health recently."

"Oh no, I haven't been able to eat midnight snacks for a week..."

"Heh, I see you're still pretty strong even though you don't have a midnight snack."

"Hey, don't underestimate me, your uncle. I was a tough guy who fought all five streets in Las Vegas..."
