"Miss Jane," Peeves crossed his arms in front of him and even bowed comically, "could you please have mercy and fulfill Peeves' little wish?"

It was the first time that Jian Yu saw the naughty Peeves being so polite, as if he had been possessed by another spirit.

She looked behind him, but she didn't see the Bloody Barrow escorting him.

"What's the matter with you?"

Peeves excitedly somersaulted in the air, revealing his true nature:

"Oh, that's the, you know, game console!"

"The red-haired twins play with it every day. Peeves has never seen anything as interesting as this!"

Jian Yu happened to have two unused prototypes, and she didn't mind lending one to Peeves, but there is no such thing as a free lunch in the world -

"So what do you want in exchange?"

"You should know that in the second grade you slandered me indiscriminately-"

Peeves was getting anxious. He lowered his head even lower and said more cautiously:

"You are a great man and you don't bear grudges. Peeves is willing to make it up to you!"

"If you don't like anyone in school, just tell me, and I'll throw it to him for you, whether it's a water ball, a piece of chalk, an ink bottle, or a pod of a knotweed!"

Seeing that Jian Yu was indifferent, he thought about it and came up with a new idea:

"Perhaps there is some secret you would like to know?"

"From the beginning of Hogwarts to the present, if you want to ask anything, Peeves knows it!"

"The secret passages here, the students' little secrets..."

This was undoubtedly very tempting to Jian Yu, and she asked:

"Then can you give me an example?"

Peeves' eyes rolled, and he thought of Lupin who had shot gum into his nostrils a few days ago, and immediately began to slander:

"For example, your Professor Lupin has a secret that no one knows about—"

"There were four people in Gryffindor at the beginning, Prongs Potter, Moony Lupin, Padfoot Black, and Wormtail Peter. They called themselves the Marauders, and they did all kinds of evil. They were inseparable, so I gave them all nicknames!"

Jian Yu understood.

Peeves must have been irritated that he couldn't play a prank on these four people.

Maybe the predators could do more harm than he did.

"I thought I would never see them again, but Lupin came back as a professor!" Peeves' bright eyes widened. "I was so mad! I called him Moony (a pun mocking Lupin's lunar cycle)!"

This was no longer a secret to Jian Yu, and she listened to it out of boredom.

"Do you know why your dean hates Lupin so much? Because he and the Marauders were at odds with each other when they were in school!"

Jian Yu couldn't help but be surprised.

Using the majority to bully the minority is not a fair victory!

Professor Snape can fight 1v4, he is so amazing!

No wonder he became the Head of Slytherin!

But she soon thought of the wolfsbane potion brewed by Snape, and couldn't help but stand in awe.

Making medicine for your mortal enemy really shows magnanimity and broad-mindedness!

Peeves then took Jane to various secret passages leading out of Hogwarts, including the secret passage behind the statue of the hunchbacked one-eyed witch, the secret passage behind the mirror on the fourth floor, the secret passage behind the Whomping Willow, the secret passage behind the statue of Gregory the Flatterer, the secret passage behind the Vanishing Cabinet, etc...

His good deed earned him a game console.

Peeves was so happy about this that he couldn't stop smiling, and he performed a prostration in the air for Jian Yu on the spot.

......

But just as Jane Yu finished admiring Professor Snape's magnanimity and broad-mindedness, she was summoned to the office.

The professor rarely frowned today, and exempted her from the last week of confinement in January. Instead, he pushed a goblet filled with wolfsbane potion in front of her, as if he had taken off a heavy burden.

"Go deliver medicine to your hairy professor, and remind him to go to the mud and roll in front of the moon as he should."

"If he has not enough to drink, bring him the crucible, and wish him long life."

He gave her a rare, mocking smile and closed the office door in front of her.

But Jane Yu had just learned from Peeves about Snape's love-hate relationship with the Marauders, so he had no doubt that Snape's subtext was "Don't let me see him", "Get him out of here", "Watch me kill him with a pot of medicine" and "I hope he dies where he is".

She carried the still smoking goblet to Lupin's office.

The door opened and Lupin appeared behind it. He looked surprised to see that the person standing there was Jian Yu.

"Miss Jane, you're here?" Lupin's expression changed, and he looked at her and the wine glass with some nervousness and vigilance.

"Don't worry." Jian Yu replied, "Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor Snape both know this. What you drank last month was also brewed by me."

Lupin's expression turned gentle again. He seemed relieved and welcomed Jian Yu into the office:

"Please sit down for a while." He seemed to want to connect with Jian Yu and served her hot tea. "I am really impressed. You are an excellent student in dealing with Boggarts, Dementors, and this kind of difficult potion, Yu."

He drank the wolfsbane potion in the cup in one gulp, his face distorted.

"It tastes authentic. It seems you have learned the essence of Snape..." He muttered, "Thank you. Please also convey my gratitude to him for his kindness."

He smiled, but the two of them didn't have much to say, so he turned to talking about Harry:

"I caught another Boggart yesterday, and Harry happened to be passing by my office and helped me test its power."

"He failed several times, but finally succeeded. He said he remembered your guidance and had the help of your magic items."

"That's great." He looked at Jane with an inquiring look, as if he was very interested in the relationship between Harry and her. "It's rare to see Gryffindor and Slytherin have such a good relationship."

To be honest, Lupin was very happy.

After all, conflicts between colleges are becoming more and more intense.

But he saw hope in them to ease the conflict.

Jian Yu nodded.

He does have a good relationship with Gryffindor.

After all, she and the students there had already established an unbreakable monetary transaction relationship.

Everyone could be her potential customer, these are all breathing Galleons!

"I have been thinking about this question since I graduated from Hogwarts." Lupin sighed and said, "Perhaps there is some prejudice and discrimination between Gryffindor and Slytherin..."

He didn't want to continue discussing this overly profound question, so he smiled:

"Speaking of which, I've been a little troubled recently. The students' class attendance rate has been getting lower and lower. Do you know the reason?"

"And some of the papers I assigned...many students couldn't even reach the required word count. Being a professor isn't that easy!"

Jian Yu felt guilty, so he said goodbye.

"Maybe it's because the temperature has dropped suddenly recently." She made up an excuse and laughed it off, "Students are under a lot of academic pressure and have caught a lot of colds."

Lupin thought for a moment and felt that there was some truth in what she said.

But he always felt vaguely uneasy.

I always feel that there is something more complicated behind this matter.
