Zhang Yandi arrived on time at 5:30. Cheng Ma and Cheng Zhu were not back yet. Zhang Yandi put on the apron hanging on the side. He stretched out his hand and smiled at Cheng Qiao, saying, "Help me tie it."

She went to her room to recite English texts. After more than half an hour, she heard the door open. She put down her book and went out. It turned out to be Cheng's mother. She heard the sound of the range hood in the kitchen. She changed her shoes and asked with a smile, "Are you cooking?"

"It's not me, it's Yan Di." Cheng Qiao replied.

"Ah?" Cheng's mother was startled and changed her shoes faster. She ran to the kitchen, where Zhang Yandi was frying clams. He turned around and greeted Cheng's mother before continuing with his work.

"You've worked hard! I just got off work and sat down to rest for a while. There's only one fish and one tomato and egg soup left, which will be ready soon." Zhang Yandi said, "Auntie Wang, you can ask Xiaozhu to come back for dinner."
