Travels to the Holy Light Continent

The barrier was not destroyed, but the white light hit Lingji Bodhisattva's head unhindered. Looking again, Lingji Bodhisattva's head was gone, and blood gushed out like a fountain. Lingji Bodhisattva's body slowly fell down.

Just when everyone was still grieving over the death of Bodhisattva Xinji, more white light came from the opposite side, and Maitreya Buddha flew out of the barrier directly upon seeing this. . .

“Knock, knock, knock…”

Countless white lights hit the body of Maitreya Buddha. Although there was no bleeding, his robes were full of holes.

"Evil beast! Why don't you show yourself!"

The Buddhas looked up and saw a man with a golden body, wearing golden armor, a crown, a golden-winged Kun head, starry eyes and a leopard eye, and holding a Fang Tian Hua Ji flying down. The man was none other than Tathagata's uncle, the golden-winged Dapeng.

It turned out that it was not that the Arhat Subduing Tiger and Demon Slaying Formation was useless, nor that Maitreya Buddha's defense was stronger, but because the Golden Winged Peng Bird was familiar with the method of the Demon Slaying Formation and was able to kill the unsuspecting Lingji Bodhisattva in one fell swoop.

As for going against the will of heaven, it is even more of a joke. I am following the guidance of heaven to bring down the great calamity of heaven. It is you who are truly going against heaven!" said the golden-winged Peng bird with a laugh.

"In that case! Then I will punish you, the evil beast, on behalf of the Buddha!"

After Maitreya Buddha finished speaking, he threw out the gold foil. The Garuda was not afraid. He knocked Maitreya Buddha's magic weapon away with a halberd. Then his body suddenly grew larger, as if he was going to make a big hole in the sky. At this time, the Garuda became even more ferocious, his eyes were red, and the wings on his back stood up like sharp blades. Just by opening them slightly, they could cover the sky and the sun. This is the legendary Dharma of Heaven and Earth.

Upon seeing this, Maitreya Buddha could only use his Heaven and Earth Magic. The originally kind-looking Maitreya Buddha now had a green face and fangs like a devil from hell. His original chubby belly had disappeared, and his muscles were distributed all over his body like pieces of meat, making him look like a fitness man. The Zen stick in his hand shone with golden light and looked very dazzling.

The two men raised their weapons and began to fight. The huge pressure made it impossible for the others to avoid it. A huge wind blew to both sides, and the sky seemed to be split in two.
