Chapter 54 Trash Can
"Quiet, children, quiet!" Professor McGonagall pointed her wand at her throat and cast a loudspeaker spell.
"Prefects of each house, please take the first-year students back to their houses. The class schedule will be posted on the notice board in the common room tomorrow."
"As for you, Severus." Professor McGonagall pointed to where Agast and Warrington were and looked at her silent colleagues.
Professor Snape withdrew his gaze from the dining table, picked up a knife, and nodded slightly, "Minerva, leave it to me."
He would not let off Warrington easily for embarrassing Slytherin today, and the same would be true for Agas.
Even though he looked so much like a certain old bee.
"That's enough, Mr. Warrington. Stop your ugly sobbing and behave yourself. Follow Madam Pomfrey to the infirmary to treat your mouth."
These simple words immediately stopped Warrington from sobbing. He just glared at Agas with red eyes.
"Well, this, Mr. Ringel." Professor Snape stood in front of Agast. His tall body completely blocked Agast's line of sight in the direction of Dumbledore, and he looked down at Agast's pretended innocent face.
Damn, I want to punch this face when I see it.
"Please, wipe your hands and mouth and follow me."
After saying that, he turned around abruptly, waving his sleeves, and strode towards the Slytherin Headmaster's office in the basement.
Agas licked his greasy lips until the taste of the sweet and sour juice was completely swallowed, then he looked at the plate on the long table with regret.
He hasn't eaten enough yet.
Grindelwald pulled out a handkerchief from his arms and threw it over Agas' face, "Wipe it clean."
Agas raised his hand, gave him the middle finger, and then pointed at Grindelwald's eyes, indicating that they could talk later.
This is the tacit understanding between Grindelwald and I over the years. If there is something that cannot be known by others, we use this method to communicate.
Dumbledore waited for the crowd to disperse before talking to Professor McGonagall: "Minerva, Agast is indeed more suitable for Gryffindor."
He was now wondering if there was any way to get Agast transferred to Gryffindor, although there had never been such a precedent since the school was founded.
"Albus, you should wait until Severus has found out the truth before telling him this."
Professor McGonagall was also very puzzled that the Sorting Hat put Agarth into Slytherin, but she was already very grateful to Merlin for having one less troublemaker in her college.
After saying this, Professor McGonagall glanced at Mr. Rosier, the school doctor's assistant who was recruited by Dumbledore himself and lived in the headmaster's office.
"Albus, I should go to the Gryffindor common room to see those kids. Goodbye, Mr. Rosier."
Grindelwald nodded to Professor McGonagall and watched her leave.
"Albus, she's not as clever as your Head of Slytherin."
"Minerva is naturally straightforward, but she has become extremely serious in recent years, unlike Severus." Dumbledore glanced at the person next to him with a warning look.
"Don't be nervous. Didn't I promise you before I came here?" Grindelwald said with a smile.
Dumbledore didn't care about his defense. He had been looking forward to this day for so many years and was just a little more cautious.
"You should keep your word." Dumbledore lowered his eyelids and softened his tone.
As for Grindelwald, he could say without exaggeration that he was the person who knew him best in the world.
Since he has promised me, I should give him a little more trust, but just a little.
Grindelwald tilted his head, curled the corners of his lips, walked to Dumbledore's left, and gently put his arm around his right shoulder.
"Let's go, let Kaka prepare some food for the principal's office. I'm not full after Agas's commotion."
Dumbledore nodded, took a few steps, and then stopped.
"How did you know Agas was causing trouble?"
"I don't know, but I know him."
At the same time, Agas, who was called to the dean's office, did not walk as fast as Professor Snape. At first, he followed quickly, but later, he had to jog to keep up with Professor Snape's back.
The underground environment was relatively quiet, and the dim wall lamps did not provide enough lighting. Agas could only walk a few steps before stopping to observe the stairs under his feet.
I don’t know whether the dean in front of me did it on purpose or not, but on the way back to his office, he had to walk up and down stairs of different sizes.
The figure in front suddenly paused and said to the snake sculpture of Medusa coiled on the right door: "Open the door."
The static snake sculpture's tail suddenly moved, the snake's head bit its tail, making a hissing sound, and the door opened.
Snape didn't care whether the people behind him followed him or not, and pushed the door open and went in.
Agas touched his back and felt a chill.
But I had no choice but to follow in courage.
Why is this office so shady and cold like a haunted house? Could the dormitory be in the same environment as well?
"Mr. Lingle." The figure that Agas had been chasing suddenly turned around, and his sleeve directly scraped across Agas' face.
"Professor, could you please turn less next time? This piece of clothing is like a rag, splashing dust all over my face." Agas spoke lower and lower under Professor Snape's increasingly cold gaze.
He was right! The good man's clothes were dark and smelled strange. When he entered his office, he was greeted by a damp smell that made Agas' nose itch.
The clothes hit my face, but I didn't even complain about how smelly and dirty they were.
"Mr. Ringel." Professor Snape sat down at his desk and raised his chin slightly. "Please tell me, have you been to Diagon Alley on August 8 this year?"
Agas rubbed the back of his head. What did this question have to do with tonight? But he answered it anyway.
"went."
Professor Snape narrowed his eyes when he heard Agas' answer and threw the knife in his hand onto the table.
"This is the knife you just used."
"This is the trash can I brought back from Diagon Alley that day."
That day, I went to Diagon Alley as usual to buy some potion materials, and saw a group of idiots who were blocked at the entrance and couldn't get in, and their hands were swollen due to the stimulation of a strange powder.
It took me some time to remove the trash can from the ground, but on the way back, my hands became more and more swollen just like those idiots.
Today, Warrington's mouth reminded me of the swelling, which was very similar to my hand that day.
Agas looked at the familiar trash can in front of him happily. Does this mean that after that day, some people are really stupid enough to not find the entrance?
Thinking of this, Agas looked into Professor Snape's deep eyes.
Snape raised his eyebrows and sneered, "Yes, there are indeed a group of idiots who can't find the entrance. Anyone who wants to touch the trash can is tricked by your powder. You must be very proud."
