The Charles Becomes a Wizard

The atmosphere between Draco and Ciel was pretty good, but the adults in the Ministry of Magic still had to face terrible situations.

The main point of conflict right now is Remus Lupin. In other words, each faction has different opinions on how to deal with the werewolf who sneaked into Hogwarts.

Members of the Order of the Phoenix, led by Dumbledore, believed that Lupin was the hero who captured Peter Pettigrew and brought him to justice, and that he worked diligently and did not bring any harm to Hogwarts, so he should be praised.

Fudge and his men held on to Lupin's identity as a werewolf, and also brought up the fact that Dumbledore had allowed him to enroll in school even though he knew he was a werewolf, disregarding the safety of other young wizards.

After learning that Lupin was a werewolf, all the wizards of the same age as Lupin present were terrified. The members of the Ministry of Magic were basically all graduates of Hogwarts, and just thinking about the fact that they had to live with a werewolf day and night made people feel their scalps tingle.

That's a werewolf! Werewolf saliva and blood are contagious!

Once bitten by a werewolf, they will also become the kind of madmen who lose their minds every full moon night...

But Dumbledore actually concealed his identity and allowed a werewolf into the school!

And now I want him to continue to serve as an assistant teacher at Hogwarts.

What on earth was Dumbledore trying to do? Why on earth was he doing this?

"He didn't cause any trouble while studying at Hogwarts, did he?" Dumbledore said lightly with an extremely confident tone. "And with the wolfsbane reagent, Remus can control himself."

"No trouble?" Lucius sneered. "If I remember correctly, my junior, the potion master Severus Snape who improved the wolfsbane reagent, almost died at the hands of Mr. Lupin who turned into a werewolf in the fifth grade. I wonder what Mr. Dumbledore thinks about this matter?"

"real or fake?"

"Isn't this possible?"

"Why didn't we hear anything about such a big thing back then?"

"Could it be..."

"Malfoy wouldn't lie about something like this."

"So......"

Lucius' words attracted the attention of the people attending the meeting. They discussed in a low voice, and their eyes turned to Dumbledore more strangely.

"Mr. Snape is no longer the powerless half-blood who could be bullied by others. Do you still want to simply brush it off as a child's play?"

Dumbledore choked. He looked at Lucius deeply with his azure eyes behind his half-moon glasses and said dryly, "It was just an accident, the only accident in seven years."

"As far as I know, Remus had hidden himself in order not to hurt others. If not..."

"If Mr. Snape had not been curious about his secret, he would not have been in any danger at all." Lucius continued Dumbledore's words with a cold face. "That's what you want to say, right?"

"Have you ever thought that if Remus Lupin hadn't entered the school, these dangers would never have happened?" Lucius' voice trembled a little when he said the last part.

This damn werewolf! He actually had the audacity to come back to Hogwarts and stay in the same castle with the dragon for months!

Lucius couldn't even imagine what he would do if his little dragon encountered the same thing that happened to Snape!

"Dumbledore," Fudge did not waste the opportunity created by Lucius. A gleam flashed in his eyes, and his tone was full of disapproval: "It was you who gave the letter of recommendation for Mr. Lupin to work at Hogwarts, right? How can you guarantee that something like this won't happen again?"

Dumbledore was silent for a while, then slowly said, "Remus has always been a good boy. He just encountered some unfortunate things when he was young. I think he should have the same opportunity to choose his life as everyone else."

"So, you choose to gamble all the young wizards in Hogwarts on his self-control?" The witch sitting next to Lucius couldn't help but interrupt him.

"What a great and kind Headmaster Dumbledore." Lucius calmed down his overly excited emotions. He held the snake staff in his hand and slowly stated another possibility.

"I just don't know whether you were attracted by Mr. Lupin himself or the influence of his father, Lyall Lupin, the world-renowned authority on non-human spirits and apparitions."

"Mr. Malfoy's imagination remains as rich as ever." Dumbledore's tone was calm, as if he was innocent.

But whether the others present believe it or not is another matter.

After all, even Dumbledore couldn't easily change other people's minds.

Howard, as the current manager of Hogwarts, also attended the meeting. Obviously, he did not have much say as he did not have deep roots in the UK.

Of course, he didn't care much about this as he had already pledged his loyalty to Mr. Grindelwald.

So throughout the entire meeting, he only made two requests, which could be simply put: Lupin or the Dementors, get as far away from him as possible while he is still working at Hogwarts!

The various forces were quite satisfied with his understanding and agreed to his request without saying much, and then started a new round of wrangling about the Black family inheritance.

This discussion was more heated than the one about how to deal with Lupin. After all, almost everyone present had a share in the division of the Black family. It was certainly not so easy to ask them to spit out the meat they had already eaten.

When it comes to one's own interests, all gentlemanly manners are thrown aside.

The conference room was bustling for a while. Howard sat at the end of the room as if it had nothing to do with him, watching these gentlemen and ladies attacking each other.
