The Charles Becomes a Wizard

Chapter 34 Halloween Chapter

As soon as Ciel stepped into the Slytherin common room, Draco came up to him. He quickly glanced up and down at Ciel and asked, "Are you okay?"

The boy's fearful look was somewhat funny, and Charles actually laughed.

"It's okay. It was just a simple chat." Although he used a little truth serum, Dumbledore was still the famous White Lord after all, and he would not attack a child who was beyond his control directly in the school.

"But I heard that you are going to duel with the Savior tonight?"

"Yes."

"Aren't you afraid of being caught by Professor Snape during your nighttime stroll?"

"Who said I was really going to go? It was just a joke," Draco said with a smile. "If they get caught on a night out, they deserve it."

Draco has never been a rigid person. Being able to flexibly apply rules that were originally restrictive to benefit himself is Malfoy's forte.

"Malfoy, you coward!" The next day, Harry and Ron Weasley stood in front of Draco and his men. "You actually deserted the battlefield last night!"

If it weren't for him, they wouldn't have broken into the forbidden area on the third floor while avoiding the professor on night patrol, and were almost bitten by the terrifying and ferocious three-headed dog in the forbidden area!

Draco raised his eyebrows nonchalantly: "It's you who are the ones who deserted. When I arrived yesterday, there was no one in the classroom."

"you're lying!"

"What evidence do you have to prove that I didn't go there yesterday? Could it be that you were waiting there the whole time?"

"I...you..."

"Without any evidence, what right do you have to say that to me?" Draco snorted, "It seems that the lesson you received before, Weasley, was not enough."

Draco turned to look at Ciel who had been silent the whole time: "Can you lend me your lawyer?"

Compared with the lawyers in the wizarding world, the lawyers of Muggles are more reliable. Their fighting power should not be underestimated. They can even bring the dead back to life with just one word. Draco was almost stunned when he learned how much compensation the lawyer of the Phantomhive family demanded from the Weasley family in the name of "loss of reputation".

Ciel's behavior of demanding compensation at the slightest disagreement provided the Slytherins with an excellent way to control the outspoken Gryffindors. On the one hand, the little snakes did not dislike their own golden Gallondors. On the other hand, they were just a group of teenagers, and who would be willing to be criticized by others for always bearing the reputation of being "vicious"?

Previously, the little snakes were proud of their status and were too lazy to waste too much time talking to the "brainless stupid lions". After all, those stupid lions had always been favored by the principal. Even if they really made a fuss, the principal and professors would just brush it off with a simple "joke".

But this does not mean that the little snakes really did not take this matter to heart. Slytherins have always been protective and petty, and they can always find opportunities to retaliate. If they can't do anything in Hogwarts, then they can wait until graduation. After all, there are only so many jobs in the wizarding world, and they are basically in the hands of the nobles. It is a very easy thing to mess with someone after graduation.

"Of course." Charles glanced at the silent Harry and nodded.

"Ciel..." Harry opened his eyes wide in disbelief. Ciel was a friend he had known since the Muggle world. They had known each other for so long, and he thought Ciel would reject Malfoy's request for his sake...

He obviously knew that Ron was his friend!

Harry felt a little stuffy in his chest and his eye sockets slightly painful. He reached out and grabbed Ron Weasley, who was choking and his face was red, and glared at Draco hatefully, then turned and left.

"Hey, Weasley, why don't you continue?" Draco shouted from behind. "Are you afraid of losing everything?"

The two of them lowered their heads and walked away faster.

......

Halloween is a very popular festival among young wizards at Hogwarts.

All kinds of strange magic props, unique costumes, and a dinner that is more sumptuous than usual.

The dome of the auditorium was cast with magic, and it became covered with dark clouds, lightning and thunder. Pumpkin lanterns of all sizes floated in the air, and pearl-like ghosts shuttled through it from time to time, creating a strong atmosphere.

But just as everyone was enjoying the dinner happily, the door of the auditorium was suddenly pushed open, and Professor Quirrell, who was wet all over and pale, ran in, screaming loudly: "Troll, there is a troll in the cellar!"

Then his eyes rolled back and he fainted.

The bustling auditorium suddenly fell silent. The next second, the small animals who realized what the "troll" was started shouting one after another.

"Quiet!" Dumbledore, who had cast a sound amplification spell on himself, shouted. Looking at the small animals gradually quieting down at the bottom of the stairs, he ordered in a deep voice: "All students follow your prefects back to the common room, and professors follow me to the cellar."

Dumbledore's words were quite intimidating at this time. The little animals all took action and lined up steadily and quickly.

Except for one person, Charles.

He slowly wiped the corner of his mouth with the handkerchief on his chest and sat there motionless. His out-of-place appearance quickly attracted everyone's attention.

"Mr. Phantomhive." Professor McGonagall was the first to speak, "Do you have any questions?" There was a hint of dissatisfaction in her voice.

"Of course." Ciel rested his elbows on the table and crossed his hands under his chin. "I do have some questions for the principal."

Dumbledore paused as he walked out. "Mr. Phantomhive, I'm afraid it's not convenient to answer your question now. You have heard that there is a troll in the castle. For your safety, please follow the prefect back to the common room as soon as possible. Of course, if you have any questions in the future, you are welcome to come to the headmaster's office at any time."

As soon as Dumbledore finished speaking, Charles felt the unfriendly looks cast at him by the little animals. Some thought that he could not see the situation clearly, some thought that he was looking for trouble, and some thought that he was wasting everyone's time to escape.

Charles looked at Dumbledore steadily. Seeing this gentle and kind-looking elder suddenly smile, his clear voice rang out in the hall: "Professor Quirrell just said that the troll is in the cellar, right?"

"What a coincidence! The Slytherin common room is also in the cellar."
