The Charles Becomes a Wizard

Chapter 348 Identity?

"How is this possible!" Alastor Moody limped to Dumbledore's side, "Albus, we can't let them leave like this."

They were talking about the Fidelius Curse!

It was a spell that could forever hide someone's secret in the soul of the keeper, so that unless the keeper revealed it, a thief could not find them even if he pressed his nose to the glass of their living room.

No one has ever been able to break the spell without going through the Secret-Keeper!

Alastor Moody certainly did not doubt Dumbledore, but the current situation was too weird. Under the current situation in the British wizarding world, once the list of members of the Order of the Phoenix was exposed, a catastrophe would be waiting for them and their relatives and friends.

They really couldn't help but be vigilant.

These battle-hardened members of the Order of the Phoenix exchanged glances secretly, then surrounded Ciel and Sebastian with their wands raised.

"Oh?" Charles glanced at Dumbledore, "Mr. Dumbledore, do you think so too?"

Dumbledore was thinking hard, "How could that be? Please believe me, the Order of the Phoenix has no ill will towards you."

"Oh?" Charles' half-smiley eyes swept over the wizards who were facing a formidable enemy.

"Of course, during this special period, everyone is a little tense. I think Mr. Phantomhive can understand."

"If I am really in league with Voldemort, then what you should do now is to flee this place immediately." Ciel sneered. "After all, you never know when the Death Eaters will come to kill you."

"What a bully you are!" Alastor Moody said sternly. "I hate bullies the most."

"Albus..." Professor McGonagall took two steps forward. She seemed to want to say something, but didn't know how to start, so she just pursed her lips tightly.

"I'm really sorry." Ciel raised his eyebrows, "But you and your thoughts are not important to me at all."

Upon hearing this, Alastor Moody's face instantly turned red, and he looked as if he wanted to put the wand in his hand directly against Ciel's neck.

But Ciel didn't take his anger to heart at all: "Then Mr. Dumbledore, can we leave now?"

Dumbledore was silent for a moment. "Of course."

"Very good," Ciel adjusted his hat to Professor McGonagall, then turned and walked out. "Let's go, Sebastian."

"Yes, sir." The handsome man in black responded in a low voice and followed him respectfully.

The members of the Order of the Phoenix looked at each other. Although they felt uneasy, they did not try to stop him because of their trust in Dumbledore.

"Albus, are you crazy?" Alastor Moody shouted angrily at Dumbledore when the two figures, one tall and one short, disappeared into the room.

"Why let them go? What if they..."

"No." Dumbledore interrupted him. He looked at the eyes of everyone on him and said, "Mr. Phantomhive is a smart boy. As a Muggle, his position is naturally opposed to the Death Eaters who advocate pure blood. He will never join forces with the Death Eaters to deal with us."

This explanation sounded quite reasonable, and made the tense crowd relax a little.

"But, what can he do?" Remus Lupin asked another question in everyone's mind.

"The coming war is likely to affect the Muggle world," Dumbledore said solemnly, "In order not to cause panic among the Muggles, we need the Muggle forces to help control the impact."

Otherwise, if you are not careful, it is very likely that those in power in Muggle society will become wary of wizards.

Dumbledore, who had suffered a series of setbacks at the hands of Charles and Eric, had recently carefully studied the weapons made by Muggles over the years, and the results made him feel terrified.

He couldn't imagine how wizards who relied on their own magic to fight could survive safely under such an attack if Muggles used those weapons against wizards.

But there is no need to say such things in this situation.

"He's just a kid, what can he do?" Alastor Moody muttered indignantly.

"Before, I thought we just had the same name, but it turns out he really is from that family. But that's no wonder, as young masters from ordinary families don't have that kind of aura." This time it was Mundungus Fletcher who spoke, and he reached out and pulled his messy long hair.

"Is there something wrong with the Phantomhive family?" Professor McGonagall couldn't help but ask.

"The Phantomhive family is the real ruler of the British underworld."

"I have only heard of their reputation and have never seen them in person," Mundungus Fletcher rubbed his fingers, "but the family is well-known in the British underworld. They are known as the 'Queen's Watchdogs' who will ruthlessly eliminate rebellious criminals."

"Some people also call it the 'aristocrat of evil'."

"Are you kidding?" someone whispered.

That being said, the Order of the Phoenix obviously knew that although Mundungus Fletcher was not very reliable at ordinary times, he was loyal to Dumbledore and rarely lied about such important information.

"It is said that this successor is not yet an adult..." Mundungus Fletcher paused, "but his methods are very clever. Several foreign forces that wanted to take advantage of the chaos in London have been swiftly eliminated by him."

The room fell silent again. They were not yet naive enough to think that the so-called "purge" was simply to drive people out of the UK.

This means that the hands of that underage child may have already been stained with the blood of his peers...

"How is this possible?!" Professor McGonagall opened her eyes wide in disbelief.

Ciel had been at Hogwarts for nearly six years, and it could be said that Professor McGonagall had watched him grow up in person. She thought she knew Ciel fairly well.

In her impression, Ciel Phantomhive was a good student with a cold personality but very studious. He could be said to be both good in character and in study. He never took the initiative to cause trouble. After Dumbledore left the school, he never caused trouble for the professors.

How could such a child be the ruler of the British underworld? !

"Maybe, it's just the same name..."

"Minerva." Dumbledore looked at Professor McGonagall, who looked shocked. "What Mundungus said is true."
