The Charles Becomes a Wizard

Chapter 37 Christmas

Perhaps he felt that Hogwarts was not safe under Dumbledore's control, or perhaps Lucius really valued Ciel as a partner, so Lucius scheduled this conversation during the Christmas holidays.

A victorious Quidditch match made the little lions enthusiastic about Harry Potter again, but the attitudes of the other three schools did not change much. The little snakes and the little lions still confronted each other from time to time, and Charles would greet Harry when they met, but the two were becoming more and more distant.

Time passed quickly, and soon it was Christmas. A thick layer of snow accumulated outside the castle, and the interior was also decorated for Christmas. The students who chose to go home took a long train. As soon as they got off the train, Charles saw Eric waiting outside. He looked taller and had a slightly cold look. Charles stood still, and before he could say anything, a pendant suddenly appeared on his body.

"Charles!" The boy who had been indifferent just now hugged Charles' neck tightly and kept rubbing his neck. "You're back! I missed you so much!"

Charles' body stiffened for a moment, and after a moment of silence, he raised his hands and gently hugged his brother, and whispered, "Eric, I'm back."

Eric was delighted to get the response and rubbed harder. Charles must miss him too! They are one, they won't become distant because of the separation as those people say!

"Eric, there's someone else here." Charles patted Eric's back helplessly, then looked up and glared at Draco who was watching the show.

"What do they have to do with me?" Eric muttered and reluctantly let go of his hand, exposing his face that was exactly the same as Charles's to the little animals.

A series of low cheers instantly rang out from the crowd.

The Muggle-blooded boy who had established himself in Slytherin had a twin!

On top of that, he's also a wizard!

After all, ordinary people have no way to enter the platform. I just don’t know why this person didn’t go into Hogwarts to study together.

Unlike students from other colleges, the little snakes who had seen a seemingly harmless boy torture someone to death without batting an eyelid thought more. How could there be two such cruel and ruthless guys? !

Why didn't this person get into Hogwarts?

Could he be as powerful as Ciel?

But no matter what they think in their hearts, most people still greet each other in a friendly manner.

The reason why they were so polite was, on the one hand, because they had received instructions from their families. They didn't know what the elders in their family were thinking. They had always looked down on Muggles, but suddenly one day they all changed their attitude and repeatedly told them in the letter to be on good terms with Charles, and not to make enemies with him even if they really couldn't be on good terms with him. On the other hand, Charles was in line with the Slytherin principles in terms of both his grades and his style of doing things, and there was really nothing to fault with him.

Slytherin has always valued strength above all else. Even if there are still people who dislike the Ciel's origin, they will just keep a respectful distance from them. Occasionally, if there are people who want to cause trouble, they will think again and again because of the close relationship between Draco and Ciel, wondering whether it is worth offending the Malfoy family for a Muggle.

So overall, Ciel's life at Hogwarts can be described as stable and peaceful.

However, aren’t the personalities of the twins from Phantomhive too different?

Looking at Eric with a bright smile and then at the indifferent expressions of the Charles animals, the little animals thought so.

After agreeing on a meeting time with Lucius who came to pick up Draco, Charles, with a frown on his face, left the platform dragging Eric, who kept praising his younger brother to others how outstanding he was.

What does Christmas mean to the Phantomhive family?

Countless banquets and social events, followed by various temptations, provocations, and mountains of gifts.

When Lucius arrived at Phantomhive Manor, exhausted, the dinner had not yet ended. Melodious music passed through the heavy wooden door of the banquet hall and floated faintly upstairs. Ciel was sitting in front of the fireplace in his room, fiddling with the newly received wizard chess on the table. When he saw him, he greeted him with a smile.

Lucius took off his heavy cloak and sat opposite Charles. He looked a little tired, with large bruises under his eyes.

"Want to play a game?" Charles invited, pushing the chessboard on the table.

"No." Lucius was not in the mood to play chess at the moment. He felt he could take this opportunity to relax.

This Christmas was not an easy one for Lucius. It would not be an exaggeration to say that he was working around the clock. The fundamental reason was because of his cooperation with the Phantomhive family.

Lucius knew very well that he alone could not swallow up the entire Muggle world pie. In order not to become a target of public criticism, he needed to select some suitable partners to share a piece of the pie. Of course, how much share each family could get must be controlled by the Malfoy family.

As soon as these words were spoken, those old foxes who usually acted as if bloodline was more important than anything else could not help themselves. Faced with huge profits and piles of gold Galleons, those old foxes happily threw the so-called "bloodline prejudice" behind their backs.

Lucius received piles of various invitations, but the result of working non-stop was that even the brightener prepared by Snape himself could hardly save the beauty of the platinum noble.

But in the end, the results are good.

"What do you want to ask?" Lucius leaned back in his chair, tapping the armrest with his fingers, looking at the flickering flames in the fireplace.

Ciel didn't force it, and placed the chess pieces where they should be: "Is that person still alive?"

The rhythmic knocking sound suddenly stopped. Lucius looked at the boy who was half-lowering his head in front of him. He pursed his lips and said in a dry voice: "What did you say?"

"I want to know if the man who was said to have been defeated by Harry Potter eleven years ago, the man you once served, is still alive."

"What...did you see?" The man's voice trembled slightly.

He seems to be afraid?

"It's just some immature guesses," Ciel tapped a chess piece on the edge of the chessboard. "So I need to know the answer."

"...I don't know either." After a long while, Lucius' voice sounded again. The proud platinum noble tightly grasped his left arm with his right hand and repeated: "I don't know either."

"Then, can you please tell me what kind of person he is?" Charles explained: "I think that person may still be alive."
