The Charles Becomes a Wizard

Chapter 79 The Weasley Brothers

Thanks to Harry and Ron Weasley, the little lions of Gryffindor fell into a complete depression on the first night of school.

Although little lions are lively by nature, love adventure and worship individual heroism, this does not mean that they have no sense of collective honor.

In order to prevent the contrast between the number of gems in Gryffindor and those in the other three houses from becoming even more tragic, almost all the little lions were trying to find ways to gain points for Gryffindor, and as a result, the number of people who went out at night and played pranks in Hogwarts began to plummet.

In contrast, Harry and Ron Weasley, the culprits, were ostracized by the little lions.

Ignoring, gossiping, and making sarcastic remarks, it then developed into a simple physical conflict...

All this felt so familiar to Harry that he almost thought he was back to the time when he was still living at his aunt's house and being bullied by his cousin.

Should he be thankful that he can still have enough food to eat?

Harry became more and more silent. The vitality he had cultivated with great difficulty at Hogwarts last semester was almost exhausted again.

If Harry could still barely tolerate everyone's attitude towards him, Ron Weasley, who had never experienced this, couldn't stand it.

He began to complain about everything, and kept complaining about Charles over and over again, as if it was all Charles' fault that he was bullied.

Harry, Hermione and the Weasley children's ears were almost callused from listening to it.

So, when Ron Weasley once again spoke out in front of the Weasley brothers, the oldest one, Percy Weasley, scolded him mercilessly.

"That's enough, Ron Weasley, you've caused enough trouble!"

"I told you before to stay away from that Phantomhive in the future, why didn't you listen?!"

"Are you satisfied with the way things have turned out now?"

"If I find out that you have any evil intentions again, I will write to my mother and ask her to take you home from Hogwarts!"

The Weasley family's current situation can no longer withstand the losses that might be caused by Ron's continued trouble.

"Percy, you Slytherin's lackey, coward! Who are you to control me?" Ron Weasley's face turned red with anger and he glared at his brother angrily.

"Obviously, all of this is because of that despicable and disgusting venomous snake... I just want to take revenge, what's wrong with that!"

"Because I'm your brother!" Percy Weasley said coldly. "If you don't believe me, you can try and see if I can send you home!"

"You..." Ron Weasley's eyes fell on Fred Weasley and George Weasley who were silent on the side. Seeing that the two of them also agreed to Percy's words, he became even angrier. He pushed Percy hard and ran out without looking back.

Fred was a little worried and wanted to chase out to see what was happening, but was stopped by Percy.

"Let him go." Percy pinched his aching eyebrows, his expression unable to hide his fatigue.

The four boys of similar age in the Weasley family originally had a good relationship, but because Fred and George were twins and were naturally closer, Percy always took good care of their youngest brother Ron when they were at home.

Ron and Percy also have the best relationship.

But for some reason, after coming to Hogwarts, Ron seemed to have completely changed...

It seemed that whenever Ron met the Slytherin named Phantomhive, his mind didn't seem to be very clear. Not only did he frequently get into trouble, but he also caused his father to lose his job.

But even so, Ron still had no intention of reflecting or repenting...

We can't let this go on any longer, if...

"Percy, don't be sad, Ron didn't mean to say that." George reached out and patted Percy's shoulder comfortingly.

To be honest, the trouble Ron and Harry got into this time was really not small. Not only were they ostracized, but even Fred and George, who were very popular among Gryffindor, were implicated. As a prefect, Percy was under even greater pressure.

However, after this incident, Fred and George, who always loved playing pranks, became much more stable.

It turns out that some pranks really aren’t that funny when they happen to you.

It can be said that if Percy and the Weasley twins had not blocked a lot of arrows from the front, Harry and Ron’s current situation would only be worse.

"Yeah, he might just be..." Fred continued.

"Maybe I just accidentally said the truth?" Percy interrupted him.

"Percy!" Fred looked at him disapprovingly.

Although I know that Percy was hurt by Ron's behavior just now, there are some words that cannot be said, and once they are said, there is no going back.

He didn't want the relationship between the brothers to be damaged forever because of this incident.

But Fred didn't know that some rifts could not be repaired by the efforts of only one side.

Percy pursed his lips and said nothing more.

"Percy, how long have you not had a good rest?" George asked, looking at the bruises under Percy's eyes.

"I forgot." Percy hadn't had a full night's sleep since the start of the school year.

He studied very hard, striving for every opportunity to add points to Gryffindor, and also had to devote some of his energy to suppressing the unruly little lions, preventing them from bullying Ron in places where he couldn't see...

"You need to get some sleep now." Fred put his hand on George's shoulder. "Don't worry, Ron..."

George: “And we’re watching!”

"you?"

"Hey, hey, hey, after all, we are Ron's brothers." The two said in unison.

"Your attitude is really sad."

"Please trust us a little."

Percy...

Percy didn't really trust the two of them. After all, before Ron came to Hogwarts to study, the two of them were not good people.

The scene of him following them to clean up the mess seemed to be still vivid in his mind. If he had not been one of the targets of the twins' pranks, the Gryffindors' attitude towards him would probably not be too kind.

"Don't worry, don't worry." Seeing that Percy did not hide the suspicion in his eyes, George and Fred hugged his shoulders on the left and right, "We have become sensible and good children like you now."

The word "good boy" was previously a specific term used by the twins to mock Percy for being too rigid and rule-abiding.

This was the first time that the two of them had used it on themselves - and it was to show Percy their determination.

Percy: ...seems even more worried.
