Became good friends with the Boy Who Lived

After buying everything on the list, Professor Dumbledore brought Aries to a secluded place in Diagon Alley. Professor Dumbledore put a big hand on Aries' shoulder.

"I'll take you home quickly, Aeris." Professor Dumbledore said gently, "Be prepared, you will experience your first Apparition."

Aris nervously grasped his school supplies and took a few deep breaths. Then, with a whoosh, it felt as if his body had been torn into pieces and reassembled in another place.

When Aris felt himself back on the ground, he felt very bad. He put all his school supplies on the ground, supported himself on his knees and gasped.

"You did very well, Aries." Professor Dumbledore patted Aries on the back.

Aris forced a smile and said nothing. He looked around the familiar surroundings. They were now in the living room of the Greene family.

The black raven had been kept in a large cage. It seemed to be affected by the Apparition and kept pecking at its cage.

Aes quickly picked up the cage, brought it to a window, opened the window and released the black raven outside. "Go and play! Remember to come home!" The raven circled over Greenen Villa for a few times and flew away.

There were footsteps and Jim came to the living room. "Oh! You're back!" Jim asked in confusion, "When did you come in?"

Aries smiled awkwardly and said nothing. Jim looked at the old man and the young man again and said, "Albus, please stay and have dinner with us. Thank you very much for accompanying Aries to buy school supplies."

Professor Dumbledore smiled gently and said, "Then I will obey your command."

There was still some time before dinner, so Jim started chatting with Professor Dumbledore again. From time to time, loud laughter could be heard. "You are so knowledgeable, Albus!" Jim praised while patting his knee.

The dinner was a great success for both the host and the guests. After the meal, when it came to dessert, Aries took out the magic candies to coax Ariana who was still sulking. The little girl immediately smiled happily, after all, she had never seen those magical things before.

Ariana even had the courage to bring a piece of fruit cream cake to Professor Dumbledore. When Professor Dumbledore took it, tears seemed to flash in his eyes, and he gently touched Ariana's little head with his big hand.

In the remaining days, Eris read through all his textbooks and tried the spells recorded in the books in his room. To Eris' surprise, he could cast those spells easily, as if magic was as easy as breathing to him.

Eris named the black raven "Eric", and the Grinns did not treat it as an animal but as a family member.

Eric likes Ariana very much. He didn't get angry when the little girl plucked his feathers. Sometimes he would even make the little girl giggle. You know, when he was in the owl shop, he beat all the owls one by one. He seemed to know that Ariana was the one who needed the most care in this family.
