Became good friends with the Boy Who Lived

Chapter 32: The Weird Professor Quirrell

The days passed one by one, and Aries felt that life was fulfilling and beautiful. Every class was a magical journey for him.

Whether it's Professor Sprout's Herbology class, Professor Flitwick's Charms class, Professor Snape's Potions class, or Professor Binns' History of Magic class, etc.

Professor Binns is the only ghost professor among all the professors. It seemed that he loved his job too much when he was alive. His body died of old age in his office, but his soul still wanted to teach children, so he turned into a ghost and served as a professor of History of Magic.

Professor Binns' History of Magic classroom seemed to have become a place for students to take a nap, simply because Professor Binns' rote lecture was comparable to a powerful hypnotic magic. It seemed that only Aeris and Hermione in the class could hold on until the end of the get out of class. With five minutes left before the end of the get out of class, even Hermione could not help but doze off.

The only one who could hold on until the end of the get out of class was Aris, which surprised Professor Binns. He might have forgotten how many years it was since he had the last student who could finish his entire class.

After several History of Magic classes, Professor Binns seemed to admire Aris very much. Later, every time the History of Magic class was over, Professor Binns would say in a hoarse voice: "Mr. Grindelwald scored ten points for Gryffindor!"

If I have to say what Aris' favorite course is, it is Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class. Professor McGonagall is really a professor with a lot of teaching experience. She can explain very complicated Transfiguration theories in a simple and easy-to-understand way, and she can always make Aris suddenly enlightened on the confusing knowledge points.

Of course, Aeris also had a course he hated the most: Defense against the Dark Arts. The teacher of this course was Professor Quirrell, who was always pale, his eyes were evasive, he stuttered during lectures, and he couldn't speak a complete sentence. He also had a ridiculous big turban on his head, which made him look like a walking pin from a distance.

Even in Professor Binns' class, Aries never felt sleepy as he did in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. If it weren't for the strong smell of garlic in the classroom, Aries could sleep from the beginning to the end of the get out of class.

The reason why Aries hated this course was not because of Professor Quirrell's funny appearance, but because he could not learn anything about magic in this course. However, Professor Quirrell seemed to be very interested in Aries and always approached Aries intentionally or unintentionally. But Aries left the classroom faster than anyone else after the Defense Against the Dark Arts class because of the unpleasant smell of garlic. Aries could always avoid Professor Quirrell's seemingly unintentional encounters and investigations.

That's right, Aris was sure that Professor Quirrell was investigating him, or rather, the being that was parasitic on Professor Quirrell was investigating him. Driven by a strong sense of crisis, Aris spent a lot of his spare time with Hermione in the library. During this time, Aris learned the Disillusionment Charm and some magic that could conceal his own aura.

Hermione was very envious and jealous of Aris's ability to learn magic, and because of that she seemed to study harder. Aris said that he was really innocent and he had not yet repaid the kindness of his adoptive parents, so how could he become a victim of the struggle between that unknown existence and Professor Dumbledore.

Aeris had no resentment in his heart, he was even very calm. All his helplessness was just due to his own lack of ability. Instead of having negative emotions, he might as well use his time to explore the mysteries of magic.
