Became good friends with the Boy Who Lived

Chapter 97: Fun at the Burrow

The group returned to the Burrow exhausted. From a distance away, they saw Mrs. Weasley who was waiting for them. Seeing that everyone was safe, Mrs. Weasley was obviously relieved.

"Arthur! Arthur!" Mrs. Weasley threw herself into her husband's arms. "I'm so glad you're all right..."

Mr. Weasley was about to say something comforting when Mrs. Weasley pushed aside her husband and hugged her sons one by one.

Mrs. Weasley was holding a copy of the Daily Prophet. The headline on the front page was a scene of a huge flaming raven flying towards the Dark Mark.

Hermione, Harry and Aries were all hugged tightly by Mrs. Weasley. "I'm so sorry for not taking good care of you," Mrs. Weasley said self-reproachfully. "If anything happens to you, how am I going to explain to your families? I don't know how to face Selina." Mrs. Weasley, who had met Selina several times, liked Aries' adoptive mother Selina very much.

Finally Mrs. Weasley hugged her twin sons and slammed Fred and George's heads together, causing the twins to gasp in pain.

"Mother," said Fred, "are you going to strangle us both and have a brother with Father?"

George continued, "That's what Mom planned. Relax, Mom. I really can't breathe..."

Mrs. Weasley glared at her two lively sons and said with lingering fear: "I'm just afraid that something might happen to you. The last thing I said to you was blaming you for failing your OWLs... Oh... Fred, George..." As she spoke, Mrs. Weasley wanted to hug the twins again.

Fred and George quickly hid behind their father, and Fred said darkly, "You're making us very uncomfortable now, Mom!"

George then said, "I still prefer the way you scold us."

Mr. Weasley said quickly, "Okay, Molly, go home first. I haven't slept all night and I'm exhausted. After breakfast, I have to go back to the Ministry to solve the problem. To be honest, this time the Ministry of Magic will definitely be in trouble..."

Just as Mr. Weasley had expected, after that day, Bill returned to Gringotts in Egypt, Charlie returned to Romania, and Mr. Weasley and Percy were so busy that they were rarely seen.

There was still a week left before school started, and life in this magical family was more comfortable than Aris had imagined. However, every time he saw Mr. Weasley and Percy, they looked tired and haggard.

"Can you imagine?" Percy complained at the dining table after working overtime all night, "I receive dozens of howlers every day, complaining about the Ministry of Magic's inaction..."

In this peaceful little family, Aries could hear the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, worrying about his problems every day.

The day before school started, Edward dragged Harry and Ron to pack their luggage in advance. Edward noticed that he had added a nice white dress robe to his clothes. It was made of pure white fabric, with the collar, sleeves, hem, etc. trimmed with gold silk thread, and the back was forked with a swallowtail. It also had matching white dress pants and white leather shoes.

"What the hell is this?" Ron's voice rang out in disbelief. Both Aeris and Harry looked over. Ron was holding a purple medieval robe with decorative lace on the collar and cuffs.

Aries and Harry both tried to hold back their laughter. "I feel pretty good, hehe..." Aries said, "I mean... it's very retro... isn't it? Hehe..."

Harry finally couldn't help it, and held onto one of Aris' shoulders, laughing until he doubled over.

"Shut up, both of you!" Ron glared at his two bad friends angrily. At this time, Mrs. Weasley came over to check if they had packed up. Mrs. Weasley had returned the vault keys to Aries and Harry when they returned from the Quidditch World Cup.

"Mom!?" Ron handed the vintage dress robe to Mrs. Weasley, "Did you put Ginny's clothes here by mistake?"

Mrs. Weasley pushed the vintage dress robe back again. "No," Mrs. Weasley said matter-of-factly, "These are your dress robes. You need to wear them for formal occasions at school."

"That's not a funny joke, Mum!" said Ron. "I'm definitely not wearing it."

"I would also like to prepare some dress robes for you, Ronnie," said Mrs. Weasley a little sheepishly, "but you know, our family's liquidity ..."

Aries and Harry looked at each other awkwardly, and Mrs. Weasley continued, "I also prepared dress robes for Aries and Harry. I'm not sure what you like, but I hope you like them."

"I love it!" said Aris. "Thank you for taking the trouble, Mrs. Weasley!"

Harry, however, looked horrified as he quickly searched for his dress robe. When he saw that it was an emerald green dress robe that was somewhat similar to the school uniform, he was visibly relieved.

"It suits your eyes, dear!" said Mrs. Weasley kindly. "That white dress robe suits you very well, Aris."

"I will never wear this!" Ron said stubbornly.

"Very good!" Mrs. Weasley said a little angrily, "Harry, send me photos of him in pajamas or naked attending formal occasions. Merlin is my witness, and I will have a good laugh. Hurry and pack your things, I have work to assign to you." After that, Mrs. Weasley left angrily.

Aris patted Ron on the shoulder and said nonchalantly, "Don't worry, buddy, I'll help you when the time comes. I can just use magic to change your outfit!"

"Really?" After getting an affirmative answer from Aries, Ron reluctantly stuffed the retro dress robe into the bottom of his luggage.

The dinner the night before school started was very sumptuous. Mrs. Weasley, the kind witch, always put the best in front of her children.

It was raining heavily on September 1st. Mr. Weasley apologized for not being able to borrow a car from the Ministry and then hurried to work. As for Percy, he had been working overtime for several nights.

Mrs. Weasley prepared breakfast for everyone and gave everyone a lunch box. She asked the children to eat quickly while she went to a village far away where ordinary people gathered. She planned to make a phone call to call a taxi for the ordinary people.

Aris looked at the sandwich wrapped in thick bacon in his lunch paper, and his heart warmed. Apart from Jim and Selina, Mrs. Weasley was the only one who could take care of him in every possible way.

When it was time to set off, three taxis arrived outside the burial grounds. The drivers looked reluctant, not only because of the bad weather, but also because this place was too remote.

From time to time, there would be slight explosion sounds coming from Fred and George's suitcases, and sometimes the suitcases would shake, which scared the drivers so much that one driver even asked Mrs. Weasley vaguely if this was a haunted house.

Facing Mrs. Weasley's murderous gaze, Fred and George smiled awkwardly and quickly loaded their suitcases into the taxi.

When they arrived at King's Cross Station, the rain seemed to get heavier. They walked through the wall and came to Platform 9 and 3/4. The red Hogwarts Express was steaming, waiting for its passengers.

Mrs. Weasley hugged everyone one by one. Fred and George looked resistant. When she hugged Hermione, Hermione said gratefully, "Thank you for your care, Mrs. Weasley!"

When she hugged Aeris afterwards, Aeris said silently, "Me too!" Hermione rolled her eyes.

After getting on the train and putting away their luggage, Aris, Harry, Hermione and Ron were in the same compartment. They opened the train windows and waved goodbye to Mrs. Weasley.

The train started slowly, speeding up until Mrs. Weasley was out of sight. Everyone quickly closed the windows as the rain outside was too heavy.
