Terraria: Cruel World Legends

Chapter 6 Jungle Palace

Deep in the mine

Xi Yao looked around and noticed with his sharp eyes that there was a stone wall on the right side in front of him with several small holes emitting red light.

When I leaned closer to take a look, I was surprised to find that there was a larger space inside. The red light I just saw was coming from here.

"There's a different world here. If it weren't for these small holes, I wouldn't be able to find it..." Xi Yao said as he was thinking about how to get through.

"Have it!"

Xi Yao picked up the pickaxe and started digging at the stone wall... After a while, a passage was dug out in the stone wall, which was barely passable. Then Xi Yao squatted and walked into the cave inside.

"Huh...where's the red light?" Xi Yao said, turning his head and finding a pink, heart-shaped crystal growing on a piece of stone, not far behind him on the right.

"What is this? Crystal? And it's heart-shaped..."

Xi Yao walked over as he spoke and gently touched the heart-shaped crystal. The stone suddenly fell off the crystal.

The crystal was about the size of a palm. Xiyao picked it up and examined it carefully.

"What a beautiful crystal... and why does it give me such a comfortable life force..."

As soon as Xi Yao picked up the crystal, he felt a strong vitality.

Just as Xi Yao was immersed in the rendering of this vitality, suddenly a hand grabbed his shoulder from behind.

"Oh my god!" Xi Yao thought it was a monster, and quickly pulled out the Sword in the Stone and slashed towards the back!

I saw a figure quickly turn sideways to avoid the sword and sword energy, and then look at Xi Yao.

"Xi Yao, it's me, your guide Andrew." Andrew said.

"Oh my god... Can't you say hello? I was scared to death... And why are you here?"

"It's night time, and you haven't come back yet, so I suspected you came to the cave, so I came to look for you."

"Uh...Guide, I didn't go to the cave on purpose. A slime pushed me down..."

"Really?" Andrew crossed his arms and stared at Xiyao with his cheetah-like eyes.

"Uh...that...look!" Xi Yao quickly changed the subject and showed the Sword in the Stone to Andrew.

"I just pulled this sword in the stone out of a pile of rocks with great effort." Xi Yao said with some pride.

"This is..." Andrew looked at it carefully, and then said:

“This sword was placed in the stone hundreds of years ago, and then absorbed the essence of the sun and the moon. Influenced by the spiritual energy of the Terra continent, it was gradually attached with a layer of natural magic.

But the magic power it possesses is nothing compared to that of Terra... and it has a name, called the Enchanted Sword."

"Is it so profound?" Xi Yao said, scratching his head.

"...Okay, I'm glad you're okay... It's dangerous here, drink this potion quickly and let's go back." Andrew took out two bottles of potion in blue bottles and handed one to Xi Yao.

Xi Yao took it and asked: "What kind of potion is this?"

"Drink it and listen to me."

Upon hearing this, Xi Yao pried open the lid and took a sip. He instantly felt a distortion in space. Then his eyes were illuminated by a beam of light and he couldn't open them. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself on the surface.

"Oh my god? What is this?" Xi Yao asked in surprise. Wasn't he in the mine just now?

At this time, Andrew suddenly appeared beside Xi Yao:

"It's called the Teleportation Potion. It uses the spatial teleportation effect. No matter where you are, as long as you drink a sip, you can instantly return to a specific location... As for where it is, it depends on the ingredients added to it."

(The Teleportation Potion was changed to the Recall Potion. The principle is similar. The original random Teleportation Potion was removed.)

"What a powerful potion... It actually has a spatial effect..."

Then, Xi Yao turned around and saw a small wooden house behind him, which was very exquisite.

Even not far from this cabin, there is a three-story wooden building.

Xi Yao was shocked: "Did you build these two buildings? How long has it been?"

"Well, yes... Oh, by the way, there's a desert over there, and the sand can be burned into glass, so I put some glass in it."

“As for the building next door, I built it when I had nothing else to do, and there are still three empty rooms in it.

It’s just that there is no bed at the moment. So it will be uncomfortable to sleep at night... Do you mind?"

"…It would be a lie to say that I don't mind. Anyway, how do you get the bed?"

"I'll tell you about this tomorrow... Ha... I'm sleepy, I'm going to rest first..." After saying that, Andrew walked into the wooden house and went upstairs.

Xi Yao wanted to ask some more questions, but when he saw Andrew went to rest, he held back his words.

Then he walked into the house and found a room in the corner of the living room on the first floor. Xi Yao went in, put down his backpack and lay down on the hard table.

……

Deep beneath the jungle, in a place only pierced by sunlight, a palace appeared in the darkness.

Outside this magnificent palace, countless golden-feathered dragons were flying freely. They were like the guards of the palace, with sharp eyes, pointed beaks, and feathers emitting electric light.

Inside the palace, a figure wearing Holy Gold Source armor and a dark blue gold-plated cloak sat alone on the throne.

The palace was very deserted, with only him sitting alone on the throne... At this moment, he was holding his forehead, as if he was troubled by something.

Suddenly, a holographic projector in front of the throne projected a colorful beam of light, and then after a flash, a cyborg figure appeared on the projector.

The cyborg spoke quickly, "You've also felt that recently, right?"

The man on the throne raised his head slightly: "...I originally thought that your attention was only on your machine, but I didn't expect you to pay attention to this as well."

Cyborg: "However, after my observation, the entity created by Xerox does not seem to have any divine power. It is just like... just like a mortal."

"...Hmm? Is that so? Perhaps this is the gods mocking me... They know that I am determined to wage war against them with all my strength.

The god who controlled the holy fire had already fallen under my army, and the goddess who controlled the natural life force was also thrown into the abyss by me...

And He, the primordial god Xerox, the most powerful being in all of Terraria, created a mortal to tease me?"

"…There is one thing I want to say. When I was monitoring him, I found that there was someone beside him who was guiding him to survive…but that person seemed to possess some kind of power and aura. That aura reminded me of a guy…" said the half-robot.

The man on the throne was a little surprised when he heard this: "...You mean...the sealer of light and darkness? The wall of flesh and blood? But it's not human!"

"Don't you know yet? It has absorbed a large amount of divine essence and has long since transformed into a human." After saying this, the cyborg seemed to have thought of something and said:

"The armor for your newly adopted giant greedy snake has been made. After putting it on, it said it felt pretty good. Well, let's end our call here."

As soon as the words fell, the figure on the holographic projector flickered and then disappeared.

In the magnificent palace, the shadow of the lonely figure on the throne was stretched very long by the light shining from high in the sky, all the way to the palace gate.

"Mortals? That's really interesting..."

After saying this, the figure slowly stood up from the throne and gradually disappeared into the dark jungle palace...
