Crossing the Other World: My Warcraft System

Chapter 1004: Pandaria's Past

With Zhou Zhuo, Garin learned a lot of Pandaria's history from him and completed his understanding of this land.

The earliest history of the Pandaria region can be traced back to hundreds of thousands of years ago, when it was the territory of the ancient god Y'Shaarj.

As the most powerful ancient god, he occupied one-third of the ancient Kalimdor continent, from Mount Hyjal in the north to Pandaria in the south. His head was in the center of the continent, which was later the location of the Well of Eternity.

Later, the Titans returned to Azeroth, and the hot-tempered Aman'Thul personally pulled Y'Shaarj out from under the soil of Azeroth and crushed him on the spot.

Facing the father of the Titans, even though he was known as the strongest ancient god, Y'Shaarj was powerless to fight back. He only had time to exhale before his death, forming the seven evil spirits that later plagued the Pandaria region.

After the Old Gods and the Elemental Lords were sealed, Azeroth entered a stage of rapid development. In the north, Ulduar was the center, while in the south, various Titan facilities were built by the Great Guardian Lei himself, sealing the heart of Az'harj, waiting for the Titans to come back for research.

Later, Freya, the Queen of Life, also came to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms in Pandaria, where she helped four creatures, the White Tiger, the Black Ox, the Azure Dragon, and the Red Crane, become demigods of the wilderness, also known as the Four Gods of Pandaria.

Twenty-five thousand years ago, Sargeras destroyed the entire Titan Pantheon. Incomplete news was transmitted back to Azeroth. Grand Guardian Lei received the most information, understood the most, and was the most painful. He became autistic on the spot, hid himself away, and gave up on himself.

Later, something strange happened in Ulduar, and Freya rushed back, but was ambushed by the corrupted Loken and was sealed in her life greenhouse.

During this period, the four gods guarded Pandaria, and many new creatures emerged near the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. They established tribes, villages, and even formed empires, such as brontosaurus, pandaren, and hozen.

More than 15,000 years ago, the Zandalari Empire fought against the Yaqir insect people. One of the insect people escaped and came to the Pandaria region in advance. They were the later Mantis.

Later, the Curse of Flesh spread to Pandaria in the south, and some Titan creations in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms were turned into flesh. They used the nearby Titan mysterious magical springs and technology to enhance their own strength and became a race born with powerful magical abilities, the Mogu.

The coming of the Curse of Flesh and Blood caused fear and suspicion to penetrate deeply into the minds of the Mogu people. Subsequently, conflicts broke out among the Mogu people, and the Mogu people were divided into more than a hundred clans of various sizes.

Whenever the Mantid crossed the Wall and attempted to invade the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, the various Mogu tribes would instinctively unite against their common enemy and deal with their lifelong enemy.

Later, a Mogu named Lei Shen appeared. He was the descendant of a low-level warlord. He grew up in war. By chance, he found Lai in the underground palace in the north of Jinxiu Valley.

Lei told Thor the truth about why he was hiding in the palace and not going out. This answer made Thor angry, so Thor attacked Leiden without warning and took away Leiden's power, along with the remaining power of Aman'thul.

Lei Shen told Lei that from now on, his duties as the Grand Guardian would be inherited by him, and he would lead the army to defeat the Burning Legion and protect Azeroth.

By seizing the Heart of Thunder from Lei, Lei Shen gained powerful strength, unified all the Mogu, and established a powerful Mogu Empire. Lei Shen became the first emperor of the Mogu Empire.

The pandaren, jinyu people, and hozen living in the Pandaria region all became prisoners of the mogu.

Among the races enslaved by the Thundergod, the Jinyu people were the first to rise up, but they were quickly suppressed by the Thundergod. The Jinyu people's tragic defeat was caused by their ally the Hozen who turned against them and informed on the Thundergod. It was this tragic defeat that caused the Jinyu people to be at odds with the Hozen for eternity.

Upon hearing the news, the pandaren went to Kun-Lai Summit to seek help from Xuen, the god of the wilds. This most powerful supreme god fought against Lei Shen alone, but was ultimately defeated by Lei Shen, who possessed the power of a titan, due to his lack of strength. Xuen then witnessed the pandaren being enslaved by the mogu.

Under the command of the Thunder God, magnificent buildings rose from the ground, including the Panlong Ridge of the Great Wall, the Seven Stars Hall and the Double Moon Hall, as well as the two huge statues of Mogu on the left and right of the Gilded Courtyard. They were all built by Pandaren who were slaves and led other slaves.

Just to defend against the Mantid, Lei Shen planned the Panlong Spine from Kun-Lai Summit to Krasarang, which took the Pandaren slaves thirty years.

During this period, Lei Shen took the lead in unifying weights and measures, and formulated the first written code in the history of Azeroth, which stipulated the supreme status of the Mogu.

During this period, Lei Shen saw the great potential of the Pandaren and was afraid that they would shake the rule of the Mogu Empire, so he could not trust them.

After his conquest of the land, the pandaren were forbidden to learn to read and write. Their leaders and thinkers were executed, all pandaren art and literature were burned, and mogu overseers forbade their slaves to bear arms.

The number of pandas gradually decreased, and some lucky pandas played clowns for their Mogu masters' entertainment. These pandas lived in stone palaces and lived a relatively luxurious life. But once a joke angered the master, this luxury came to an end, and only broken spines and severed heads could arouse more laughter from the Mogu.

During these dark times, pandaren monks strive to inspire their brothers and sisters in need. They are storytellers, brewmasters, and healers, helping their race to hold together in the darkness.

Ra placed a Nalak'sha Engine in the treasury of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Lei Shen wanted to use it to lift the flesh curse of the mogu, but the experiment failed and instead created two races, Lizardmen and Globes.

Although the experiment failed, Thor did not give up. Later, he learned from Lei that there was a Titan facility in Uldum called the Forge of Origin that was more powerful than the Engine of Nalak'sha!

Lei Shen led his mogu armies and Zandalari allies to invade Uldum in an attempt to locate the Forge of Origination, which he believed held the secret to immortality.

He announced to the tol'vir that he had taken over the job of Titan Guardian and asked them to hand over the Forge of Origin.

The Tor'vir knew they had no chance of winning against Thor's army, so they switched to another tactic and activated the Origin Engine.

They knew that running their engines at full power would wipe out all life on Azeroth, so they reduced their power so that their engines only affected the surrounding land.

The torrent of power then burst out and surged in Uldum, causing the ground to bump, twist and turn, and enveloping the entire earth in destructive energy.

In an instant, the defenders of the Tol'vir, including the Thunder God and his army, were destroyed. This burst of power also wiped out almost all life around Uldum, turning the land into a desolate and crumbling desert.

As for the surviving tol'vir in Uldum, they are busy ensuring that no one else in the world will attempt to seize the power of the Forge of Origin.

They magically shielded the mountain passes leading to the area from all mortal sight.

The death of Lei Shen plunged the Mogu into civil strife. As the empire decayed over time, the Pandaren saw an opportunity for revolution.

Since they have no weapons, the monks train ordinary people to fight with bare hands, teaching them to master a positive energy: prana.

The revolution itself was bloody, and while it destroyed the empire, it also brought horrific deaths to countless Pandaren, both warriors and civilians.

But eventually the Mogu Empire was overthrown and a new empire was established. Although Pandaren monks later incorporated the use of weapons into their attacks, they still focused on using Chi as a source of power and were still extremely destructive when fighting with bare hands.

Twelve thousand years ago, the Pandaren used their tenacious resistance, secret diplomacy, and unique hand-to-hand combat skills to launch a successful revolution, ending the rule of the Mogu and establishing an empire that prospered for a thousand years.

Although the mogu were overthrown by a revolution led by the pandaren, their legacy is preserved in ruins that have stood for thousands of years.

Shortly after the establishment of the Pandaren Empire, the Zandalari trolls sent a large army to attack the new Pandaren Empire in order to help their allies restore their country.

The Zandalari tribe is large in number, and although the Pandaren monks are not afraid of them, the fighting style of the Zandalari trolls' bats and pterodactyl riders makes it impossible for the Pandaren to fight back.

Until a Panda girl named Jiang rode a cloud dragon to attack them from the sky.

The Zandalari attacks continued for years, even involving their fearsome dinosaurs in the battle.

During the Zandalari invasion of the Jade Forest, thanks to Jiang's efforts, more and more Cloud Serpents were trained for riding by the knights, and the newly formed Cloud Serpent Knights turned the tide of the war.

After driving away the Zandalari trolls, the Pandaren Empire was stabilized!

The Zandalari trolls' defeats in several foreign wars caused their national strength to decline. During this period, the night elves began to master the arcane energy from well water and used magic to establish the magnificent night elf empire.

The night elf empire defeated the other two troll empires, the Gurubashi and the Amani, which were destroyed by the Zandalari War. From then on, the troll culture never recovered to its former prosperity.

The Pandaren Empire and the Kaldorei Empire officially became allies. The hegemony of the trolls and mogu withdrew from the stage of history and they never recovered their strong national strength.

Because the night elves were too addicted to the Well of Eternity and even began to abuse it, the pandas ignored their advice and decided to cut off contact with them and closed the border areas of Pandaria. This is the War of the Ancients in which the pandas did not participate.

Later, when the Pandaren Emperor Shaohao ascended the throne, he followed the tradition of his predecessors and went to the great Jinyu Water Speaker for guidance.

The young emperor came to the prophet with great enthusiasm, thinking that good news must be waiting for him. However, the water whisperer brought him a terrible prophecy: a group of wizards in a kingdom gathered around a huge well and summoned groups of demons from the well. Green flames fell from the sky, and all the continental plates of the world collapsed.

Just when Shaohao was at a loss, the Supreme God Qinglong Yulong advised Shaohao to put down his burdens, purify his soul, and become one with the earth.

The emperor did not understand what this meant, but he would not find any more answers if he stayed on the bitter cold mountaintop. Emperor Shaohao walked down the mountain in frustration, intending to discuss the next move with his companion, the Monkey King.

Later, with the help of the Monkey King and the Supreme God, Shaohao defeated the six evil spirits, Doubt, Confusion, Anger, Fear, Hatred and Madness, in turn in the Sifang Temple and sealed them underground.

But he stopped when facing the last one - Prideful Evil.

Emperor Shaohao's hubris shrouded Pandaria in mist, for he believed the pandaren were superior to the rest of the world and capable of solving their own problems. But for the next ten thousand years, they stood still, their doubts and fears buried beneath the land, corrupting the people whenever they had the chance. Thus, hubris is the most insidious of the sha, more dangerous than all the others combined.

After defeating the six evil spirits, Shaohao gathered a group of elite monks and founded the Shado-Pan to continue to restrain and control the evil spirits.

The emperor was never the same again, and he set out on his final journey, becoming the embodiment of faith, hope, courage, perseverance, love and serenity, a creature of pure light.

On the last day, at dusk, the sky was filled with green flames and the earth was shaking with fear. But the emperor did not fear. There was no doubt or despair in his heart. As the sky broke apart, he ate and sang. Emperor Shaohao saw the fear and doubt in the eyes of his subjects, so he issued a declaration - life is short, every day should be lived happily, and every night should be forgotten and sleep peacefully.

Shaohao climbed up the Terrace of Eternal Spring and inserted his artifact staff into the ground. His soul became one with the land, and mist began to spread.

Shaohao shrouded his homeland in an impenetrable fog, and no one in the world could find Pandaria anymore.

Even the occasional ship that enters this fog will lose its direction and spin in place until it returns to open water.

For the Pandaren, they looked out over a foggy sea, and many believed that the outside world had been destroyed in the Cataclysm.

After Emperor Shaohao's disappearance, power in Pandaria was decentralized to the local level.

Only the Shado-Pan was left to defend against the sha and mantis, while the Golden Lotus ran government affairs and served as a court.

With all threats blocked by the Wall, there was no need for an emperor anymore, and Shaohao became the last emperor of Pandaria.

For nearly ten thousand years, only one brave panda named Liu Lang set out to explore the world outside the mist, riding on the back of a giant sea turtle, Shen-zin Su.

As the turtle grew bigger, Liu Lang's desire to explore the world grew stronger.

More people joined him, and eventually an immigrant settlement of Pandaren explorers formed on the back of a giant turtle, traveling through the sea, and was called the "Lost Island."

After Garen recalled the past of Pandaria, his heart was filled with excitement!

For this land that is 80% similar to China, he decided to help it eliminate all threats!
