Chapter 271 Eastern Beach Landing Battle 5

The battle on the eastern beach can also be regarded as the first battle of the Silver Hand!

Uther followed behind Lothar and Turalyon, his huge hammer attacking the orcs in all directions.

There was a distinct light surrounding his body and his weapon, causing the orcs to cover their eyes and flee. The surrounding soldiers, seeing the bravery of the paladins, burst into cheers.

Turalyon felt a little envious for a moment. Compared to Uther, he seemed a little well-behaved and always guarded Marshal Lothar.

Turalyon is only two years older than Garin. Young guys in their twenties always want to be the center of attention!

"Marshal, we need to return to the main force!" Uther showed his might and killed all the orcs targeting Lothar. Turalyon quickly suggested to Lothar not to rush too aggressively!

"Let's go back!"

Fortunately, Lothar listened to the advice, otherwise Turalyon would have felt that this battle was too difficult and wanted to return to his hometown to retire!

Uther raised his hammer to greet the two men, then immediately turned his horse around and cleared a path for the two men among the gathered orcs. Lothar followed closely behind, and Turalyon covered their retreat, hitting them with his hammer and shield to prevent the orcs from approaching them.

Suddenly, an orc reached out to grab Turalyon, holding a huge axe in the other hand and was about to attack him. At the critical moment, a red arrow hit the orc and pierced his throat!

Turalyon risked a glance around and saw a slender red figure on the mountain flashing by with a longbow raised!

At this distance he could just make out the gleam of her hair, reminding him of his first meeting with Alleria in Southshore.

Unfortunately, Turalyon recognized the wrong person. This was Sylvanas passing by while tracking Orgrim. Judging from their armor, they looked like high-ranking human officials. So Turalyon rescued them for the sake of Galen, her human friend!

Under the leadership of Uther, Turalyon and Lothar both returned to their own front lines safely, with the large Horde breakout force chasing closely behind them!

"Array! Array!"

Lothar quickly commanded his soldiers to form a battle line. Fortunately, most of the soldiers following him were veterans who had survived Stormwind. They had rich experience in fighting orcs and quickly stabilized their position.

The previous wave was really Lothar's fault. Although he was chosen as the marshal, he actually didn't adapt to this identity. He still thought of himself as a general of Stormwind City and charged directly, resulting in the soldiers having no one to command and acting on their own!

"Form a shield wall! Raise your spears!" The soldiers quickly followed his orders and formed a solid shield wall supported by spears!

But the orcs were determined to break out from this flat area. The first wave of attack only opened a small gap. The orcs were stabbed by spears. The seriously injured fell down and never stood up again. The lightly injured retreated while covering their wounds, leaving the position for the charge to other orcs.

The second wave of attack was much more violent than the first, and the shield wall was about to collapse! But the orcs paid a heavy price.

"Quick! Form the second shield wall!"

Turalyon gave orders to the squad behind him in the chaos, and the veterans responded quickly, setting up another shield wall behind the first one that was about to collapse.

Lothar and his men's plan was simple. They could erect walls one by one, like a dam, to block the orcs' tidal impact!

As long as each wall dealt the orcs as heavy a blow as the first did, they would be able to weaken the tribe, and the tide could always be held back by the dams until the orc numbers dwindled and the human soldiers were able to confront these monsters head-on!

Unfortunately, after two unsuccessful attacks on the shield wall, Orgrim also came here and decisively ordered the orc soldiers to stop their mindless charge.

"Taron Blooddevil, it's your turn!"

Orgrim released the last card in his hand, the Death Knights that had been hidden for a long time!

A large number of figures wrapped themselves tightly walked forward, with their hoods pulled down so low that only their eyes hidden deep inside could be seen, dark blue and cold!

And each of them carried a scepter that emitted a strange light. These strange figures rode on death horses with glowing eyes and heavy armor and charged forward, straight towards the shield wall, and raised the scepters in their hands when they got close to the shield wall.

A strange buzzing sound was heard, spreading among the crowd. The soldiers in front of the death monsters collapsed to the ground, holding their heads, with blood gushing out of their mouths, noses, and ears!

Such a strange scene made the soldiers a little timid, and they dared not move forward to form a new shield wall!

"Holy Light, these are a group of evil dark men!" Uther felt the power of darkness and death from them!

"They are casting dark spells!" The devout believer of Holy Light was furious. The faith in his heart prevented him from allowing the evil before his eyes to exist!

Uther raised his warhammer high. The holy weapon emitted a golden light, illuminating the soldiers around him: "Stay at your post! Soldiers, the holy light will protect you!"

Sure enough, when the Death Knights raised their scepters again, the dark spell was broken by the Holy Light and the soldiers were not harmed!

The fear brought by the Death Knights was broken by the Holy Light. Uther roared again and fought with the Death Knights with the Silver Hand! The Holy Light had a restraining effect on dark spells. The Death Knights were not afraid of swords, and neither side could gain the upper hand.

The battle returned to the beginning. Human soldiers continued to form a shield wall, and orc warriors kept attacking the shield wall.

At this time, different figures appeared in the tribe again. These creatures were much taller than the orcs. They were ogres. These four or five meter tall creatures walked forward, waving rough wooden sticks that were almost uprooted trees. They directly defeated the entire shield wall, and the soldiers were knocked to the ground by these powerful blows.

The orcs swarmed in from the gap and charged into the battle formation of the Alliance soldiers!

"Prepare to change tactics! Retreat! Retreat!"

Lothar immediately changed his tactics. The ogres were too powerful, even stronger than orcs. The soldiers could not withstand close combat!

The Alliance soldiers gathered together tightly, formed a battle formation and retreated, raising their spears to stab the approaching orcs while avoiding the attacks of the ogres.

Turalyon was organizing the deployment in the rear. He built a new shield wall on the hill. Whenever a group of soldiers retreated, the shield wall would open to let them pass, and then close behind them. The retreating soldiers would then join the shield wall and help other teams pass safely.

Turalyon's military proficiency was put to exceptional use at this moment!

The archers in the rear took the opportunity to attack the ogres, but to little avail. Retreating back to the hills, Lothar had to use another trump card of the Alliance!

"Notify Archmage Kel'Thuzad in Dalaran! Ask him to bring his mages over!"
