Chapter 826: Tomb of Tyr
Originally, Tadwa, the leader of Tyr's guards, had his own ideas when he agreed to Galin's visit.
The massive loss of Tyre's guards filled this prime leader with worry.
He knew that in addition to Tyr's Silver Hand, there was also a terrible darkness sealed in Tyr's Tomb, and this dark power had been permeating Tirisfal Glades.
According to the documents of Tyr's Guard, 7,300 years ago, a group of handsome creatures with long ears landed in Tirisfal Glades from the sea. They tried to build a city on this land and started a new life.
However, soon some of these creatures fell madly because of the dark energy beneath the earth, and this group of outsiders had to continue migrating northward.
More than three thousand years ago, the human Emperor Thoradin did destroy a part of the seal, but he also made up for it by using Skamdor to build a second seal to prevent this land from being invaded by the power of darkness.
Emperor Thoradin's reckless death did indeed lay the hidden danger for the disintegration of the human empire, but he was also wrong in some ways, otherwise how could the people of Lordaeron have established a powerful kingdom in this vast forest.
Now that Tyr's guards are dying out, Tadvar has heard of Galen's deeds and knows that he is not only the marshal of a powerful alliance, but also a powerful paladin with more than 2,000 high-level paladins in the Knights Templar under his command.
This force is far beyond the strongest time of Tyr's Guards, and Garen can also command another paladin organization, the Silver Hand.
Turalyon's request made Tadvar want to seek help from this powerful man. However, the leader of Tyr's guards never expected that Garin had such a powerful God of Light under his command!
"May the Holy Light protect you, Marshal Galin!"
"Nice to meet you, may the light be with you, brother Tadwa!"
Then a refreshing whisper of souls spread throughout the venue. The paladins stopped praying, but their eyes were still fanatical as they looked at the two Naaru.
After some brief exchanges between the two sides, Jialin directly stated his purpose.
"Brother Tadeva, I wish to enter Tyr's Fall!"
Although Tadwa did have the idea of asking Garin to help suppress the servants of the ancient gods, he did not expect that Garin seemed to know some unknown secrets!
He looked into Garin's eyes seriously, as if he had found some useful information: "Grand Marshal, you just mentioned Tyr's Fall. Do you know the meaning of this place?"
Garin nodded, and then he used the same soul whisper as Naaru, to prevent possible peepers from eavesdropping on his conversation with Tadwa.
"In fact, I know more than you think, brother. I have formed an alliance with Archaedas, the King of the Earth. We are secretly planning to counterattack Ulduar, and the artifacts buried in Tyr's Tomb can give us a lot of help. Therefore, I am here!"
Tadwa was shocked. Azadas, the King of the Earth...
What an ancient name!
His name only exists in the secret book passed down from generation to generation by the leader of Tyr's guards. The entire human world knows of Tyr's existence, and even names towns after him and the Knights Paladin after his prosthesis, but the number of people who know about Archedas is no more than a handful!
"The darkness in there..."
Tadwa knew that with the combined strength of the paladins they could once again seal the leakage of the dark power, but if they entered the tomb of Tyr, they would have to face the servants of the Old Gods!
"So I brought those two Your Majesties!" Garin looked at the two Naaru.
"You succeeded in convincing me!"
With the leader's consent, the rest of the things became much easier. Tadwa even wanted to lead the way for Garin himself, but after careful consideration, Garin agreed to his proposal.
That the old paladin was able to resist the whispers of the Old God's servants and emerge from Tyr's tomb more than a decade later was a testament to his strong willpower.
Although the mountains east of Tirisfal appear to occupy only one-fifth of the entire area, they are extremely vast. Without a local guide, Garin and his companions would probably have to survive in the wild among the mountains for a long time.
Turalyon postponed his plan to recapture the capital of Lordaeron because of Garen's words. In addition, the undead of Lordaeron fell silent again for unknown reasons, so the adjutant decided to follow Garen to the Tomb of Tyr.
After three days of rapid journey, Jialin even saw some strange sights in these hidden mountains!
On a vibrant meadow, a group of elven dragons gathered together to sing. The beautiful singing of the elven dragons nourished the surrounding plants and made them grow more luxuriantly.
If Tadwa hadn't been around, Garin would have wanted to get a few elven dragons...
Finally, they came to a large lake in the mountains.
This huge lake looks peaceful and serene, but the paladins present can keenly sense the evil power emanating from it!
Turayang frowned and drew the weapon behind him: "Such a strong evil aura..."
Garin also raised his eyebrows, but not because of the evil aura of the lake, but because of the weapon behind Turalyon!
Quel'Zalamu!
Unexpectedly, even if Lothar had not died, Turalyon still got this noble sword!
"This is……"
"Marshal Lothar's sword. When you went on an expedition to Kalimdor to participate in the Battle of Mount Hyjal, Marshal Lothar passed this sword down to me!"
So that's how it is. During the Orc War, Turalyon was Anduin Lothar's adjutant. Although he was called an adjutant, the old marshal actually taught Turalyon military strategies personally, so he could be considered a semi-disciple of Lothar.
Garin silently mourned for Valen. Perhaps this biological son of Lothar did not get the recognition of his father, or maybe it was due to other reasons?
"The Tomb of Tyr is at the bottom of the lake, but I'm not sure about the exact entrance. After all, it's hard for us Tyr Guards to resist the power of darkness for a long time, and we've been away from these mountains for a long time!"
"It doesn't matter. This lake only has so many of them. As long as the two Your Majesties carefully sense the source of the leakage of the dark power, they will be able to find the entrance to Tyr's Tomb."
The simple and easy method was approved by everyone.
Garin and Turalyon each brought a group of Knights Templar to protect the two Naaru and soon found the exact location.
When Garin obtained the warrior artifact, the Paladin's Hammer, he went through a broken ventilation duct, but this time Garin and his team found the main entrance to Tyr's Tomb.
Although this is not quite the same as what Jialin had thought of, which was to dig a hole in the tomb from the top, it is not a big problem. Who says tomb robbing cannot be done through the front door?
There is no doubt that the people who went into the water were the three paladins, Garen, Turalyon, and Tadvar.
The two Naaru, Kulei and Deori.
Very good, very strong lineup!
