HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 51 The Cornish Elf

The first class of the day is Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Gilderoy Lockhart walked into the classroom, carrying a heavy cage in one hand. Inside the cage, several blue, winged monsters were twisting restlessly.

They are not pretty, and even a little ugly.

But the smile on his face seemed to light up the entire room, and his exposed teeth were dazzlingly white.

"Hey, little wizards, don't be scared by their appearance!" His voice was a little playful, yet friendly.

"Today's lesson is about how to deal with these little troublemakers in Cornwall."

Gilderoy Lockhart said as he carefully placed the group of elves on the podium.

He glanced around the classroom, then confidently struck a pose that he thought was quite handsome, with a smug smile on his face.

"Believe me, dealing with these little guys is a piece of cake." He raised his eyebrows, his tone full of relief.

Segnus was sitting in the audience, holding his chin in boredom, his eyes full of helplessness.

She glanced at Hermione, and they both understood each other instantly and exchanged a subtle look.

"Hmph, look at those little tricks of Gilderoy, is he really worthy of being a professor?" Segnus muttered in a low voice with a hint of contempt on the corners of his mouth.

At this moment, Lockhart waved his wand and the cage door opened with a click.

The elves in Cornwall burst into the air like released fireworks.

They made faces and their laughter filled the room. Suddenly, a small hand reached out and mischievously pinched a little wizard's nose and hung him in the air.

These naughty little guys would fly up from time to time, grab people's hair, or pull their robes.

The whole scene suddenly became chaotic.

Gilderoy Lockhart stood aside, obviously a little flustered. He licked his lips nervously and said hurriedly: "I believe you can handle it!"

Then he turned around, opened the door, and slipped out as if his feet were greased, not forgetting to close the door carefully.

The second grade wizards are running around like rabbits let loose, avoiding the mischief of the Cornish pixies.

"That's enough!" Sensenas frowned and complained, waving her wand and easily casting the "Quick Confinement" spell.

Those domineering elves were suddenly unable to move, as if they were tied up by invisible ropes.

"You little troublemakers, do you dare to make trouble again?" Segnus raised the corners of his mouth, his eyes flashing with intelligence and confidence.

She walked gently to the imprisoned elves with a hint of teasing in her tone.

The captured elves grimaced, and although their bodies could not move, their eyes were still fierce, trying to use intimidation to make Segnus retreat.

Cygnus walked alone toward the group of shivering Cornish elves.

The other little wizards hid in the corner, staring at her in awe.

Hermione and Theodore followed closely behind, guarding Cygnus on the left and right, like her shadow.

"I want these elves." After saying that, he carried the Cornish elves and walked out the door. Every movement seemed so calm and unhurried.

When the other young wizards saw her like this, their fear instantly turned into a noisy discussion, and then they dispersed and returned to their own dormitories.

Harry stood where he was, his eyes following Sigma's back closely as if pulled by an invisible rope.

He turned to Ron and said, "Wow, man, that was a cool move she just made."

Ron rarely jumped up to refute, but just nodded slightly, with a hint of respect in his eyes.

"Yes, her spell is indeed powerful," he agreed.

Cygnus led Hermione and Theodore through the winding corridors with ease, and finally arrived at the mysterious "Room of Requirement" on the eighth floor. The door creaked open, and there was a spacious space in front of them. The air was filled with the unique aroma of the potion classroom.

She walked straight to a corner of the room and sat down casually, the knife in her hand dancing on the wood, every stroke was so confident.

From time to time, however, Cygnus's eyes would be raised slyly, glancing at the shivering little creatures in the corner - the Cornish elves.

"Hey, look at these little guys." Segnus broke the silence with a relaxed tone, as if introducing her little collection.

Hermione and Theodore moved closer curiously. The elves huddled together, their big eyes full of fear. This was the first time in their lives that they felt so frightened.

"Don't you think this thing is tailor-made for the wand core?"

As Cygnus spoke, she glanced at Hermione and Theodore's faces. Seeing that they both looked relaxed and seemed quite interested in her ideas, she continued with more confidence.

"This wood is the finest rosewood. You know, the texture of rosewood is like the tentacles of those elves in Cornwall, flexible but a little wild and difficult to control."

There was a shrewd glint in her eyes. "I think this thing is perfect to be used as my backup wand."

Before Hermione and Theodore could even open their mouths, Cygnus strode up to the Cornish elf.

She glanced back with her cold eyes and said to the two of them, "You two should close your eyes first. The scene that is about to happen is not going to be pretty."

Hearing this, the two nodded and closed their eyes tightly.

Seeing this, Segnus raised the corner of his mouth in satisfaction and slipped a sharp little dagger from his sleeve.

She was very skilled and with almost no hesitation, she slashed the elf's tentacles with her knife.

Several sharp screams echoed throughout the House of Requirement.

But Segnus acted as if he hadn't heard it. He calmly took out a glass bottle from his pocket and carefully collected a few drops of the elf's blood.

Then, she casually threw the severed tentacles into the bottle and waved her wand to "clean it up." The bloodstains on the ground instantly disappeared without a trace.

"Okay, you can open your eyes now." As soon as Sensei finished speaking, Hermione and Theodore carefully opened their eyelids.

The scene on the table made them frown - several elf tentacles were soaked in a pool of bright red blood, and the air was filled with a strong smell of blood, which was so stimulating that people almost held their breath.

Segnus, however, had a pleased look on his face, a smug smile on his face.

She waved the wand in her hand gently, her movements graceful and skillful, as if she was performing a carefully choreographed dance.

The tentacle slowly rose from the pool of blood, and as she moved, it slid steadily into a nearby magic wand that had been engraved with mysterious runes.

"Look, this is the core of the new wand."

She knew very well that every wand bought from Ollivanders had a record of the Ministry of Magic, and using it was like shouting her name.

But a wand that you made yourself is another matter.

After completing the unique wand, she waved to Hermione and Theodore, signaling them to go away, and she walked towards the Slytherin common room.

"Gareth, this wand was made specifically for you," she said silently in her heart, "please don't let me down."
