HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 61 Negotiations with Dumbledore

It's been a week, ever since those vipers caused chaos on campus, and time has dragged on as if it were under a slowing spell.

The teachers were as anxious as ants on a hot pan, running around in circles, racking their brains, trying to find a foolproof solution to the problem of venomous snakes.

At this moment, Dumbledore stepped into the medical wing, an unfathomable light flashing in his eyes.

He looked at Ron who had woken up on the bed. Although his face was still a little pale, he had obviously passed the critical period. A gleam of light flashed in his eyes, and he already had a plan in mind.

"Well, it looks like this is an opportunity." Dumbledore said to himself. He knew very well that there must be something behind this.

The sunlight slanted into the ancient corridor of Hogwarts, and Professor Dumbledore's steps were firm and calm.

He knew that Sensei Malfoy, the girl who was always known for her intelligence and cunning, must have something to do with this.

Ron had miraculously come back to life not long ago, and no doubt Harry had gone to her for help.

Amid the fog of mystery, Dumbledore knew that if he wanted to solve the problem, he had to meet her in person.

"This girl has extraordinary abilities." Dumbledore whispered, looking deep into the distance, "The way she dealt with the venomous snake remains a mystery to this day."

His footsteps echoed in the empty corridor, as if urging him to move forward.

He knew that for the sake of the children of Hogwarts, he had to find out Cygnus's motives.

At the door of Sensei's dormitory, Dumbledore knocked gently on the door.

The door slowly opened, and the girl's figure appeared in the crack of the door. A gleam of surprise flashed in her eyes for a moment, but almost in the blink of an eye, she returned to that unfathomable calmness.

"Oh, it's Headmaster Dumbledore!" Cygnus raised the corners of his mouth, revealing a sly smile, "What brings a distinguished guest like you here?"

Dumbledore gave her a kind smile in return, with an unintentional glint of mischief in his eyes.

"Actually, I have a little question I want to talk to you about, about those venomous snakes that came uninvited."

Cygnus raised her eyebrows in mock surprise. "Venomous snakes? Oh, they are really naughty. But this matter has nothing to do with me."

As she spoke, she shrugged her shoulders, her expression as innocent as a child who had just stolen candy.

"I know you didn't release the poisonous snake. I'm very curious, Seconas, what kind of magic did you use to wake Ron from his coma?" Professor Dumbledore's smile was the same as always, gentle but with a hint of unfathomable depth.

His eyes, as if they could see into people's hearts, stared at Cygnus closely, trying to catch a glimmer of truth from her cunning eyes.

Segnus bit her lower lip lightly, a sly look flashing in her eyes. She knew that she had the upper hand in this negotiation.

"Well, since you've come to me, I'll be frank." Segnus raised his chin with confidence, "I do have a way to resolve this crisis, but in exchange, I need you to agree to a small request of mine."

The sunlight shone through the rippling sea water onto Dumbledore's face, making his smile seem even warmer, but the light in his eyes could not hide his seriousness.

"Oh, Segnus, you always have your own little plans. Come on, tell me, what are your conditions this time?" His voice was a little naughty, but respectful.

Segnus smiled cunningly, and that smile was like a cold breeze in winter, making people shiver unconsciously.

"Principal Dumbledore, what I want is very simple - I need a shining name and to create my own small circle. Don't worry, this will not cause you any trouble, and it may even bring some new atmosphere to Hogwarts."

She raised her chin, her eyes sparkling with ambition

Dumbledore's deep eyes narrowed slightly, and he had a new assessment of the girl's intelligence and cunning mind.

He knew that Segnus was no ordinary person.

Dumbledore nodded slightly, with a hint of curiosity in his tone: "Oh, then, clever Seconas, how do you plan to deal with those poisonous snakes?"

Cygnus smiled slyly and quickly pulled out a small bottle shining with colorful light from his pocket.

The corners of her mouth curled up in a smug arc, just like a chess player placing the chess piece that decides the outcome at the critical moment.

"Just give the liquid in this vial to students who have been poisoned by snakes, and they will wake up."

"Oh, I see." Dumbledore nodded slowly, his eyes revealing his inner understanding. "I agree to your request, but there is a condition. You must ensure that your society will not cause any harm to Hogwarts."

"Don't worry, that's not my plan." Cygnus answered confidently, with a cunning gleam in her eyes.

"I, Secnus Malfoy, carefully calculate every move and never make a deal that is not profitable."

"Okay, that's settled then." Dumbledore took the small bottle handed to him by Sensei, his eyes wandering over the glittering liquid in the bottle. The corners of his eyes wrinkled unconsciously, then relaxed, a trace of doubt flashed across his face, and was quickly replaced by relief.

He knew in his heart that what was in the bottle might be the key to solving the difficult problem at hand.

Segnus smiled gently, and that smile contained cunning and evil that only she knew.

She turned around, her robe drawing an elegant arc in the air, and walked lightly towards the dormitory.

As Sensenas disappeared behind the door, Dumbledore followed her gaze closely, feeling a mixture of emotion.

The girl's cleverness and cunningness are like a double-edged sword, which makes people admire her but also fear her.

Dumbledore returned to the hospital wing and handed the liquid in the vial to Madam Pomfrey, who divided it into several portions and fed them to the poisoned students.

As consciousness returned, the students opened their eyes one by one.

But unlike the expected chaos, what flickered in their eyes was a strange fanaticism.

The name of Segnus was like a spark that ignited passion, shouted out from every excited mouth.

"Malfoy, Malfoy!" They called out as if they were a hero, the voices rising and falling, merging into a frenzied ocean.

Dumbledore stood aside, his brows furrowed, and his heart was in turmoil.

He wondered where this sudden, almost superstitious worship came from.

His eyes followed the light and shadows and happened to catch the figure of Segnus.

She stood in the distance, like a character in a carefully composed painting, with the corners of her mouth slightly raised, revealing a sly and complacent smile, which was the unique smile of a victor before a battle.

He witnessed the students' blind worship of Seignus. The fanaticism flashing in the children's eyes was like a magic light, directed by Seignus's seemingly gentle but evil hands.

"Her ambition is like a spreading vine, quietly entwining everyone's heart." Dumbledore said to himself, with the figure of Cygnus reflected in his blue eyes.

"But her intelligence, oh, that is undeniable. She knows how to manipulate people's hearts and how to play with every soul."

At this moment, Gareth in the crowd watched the situation calmly, his fingers gently moving on the snake-shaped pendant, a sly smile on the corner of his mouth.

This seemingly harmless good student actually hides a dark secret in his heart. Those terrifying poisonous snakes were created by him.

The love-hate relationship between him and Segnus is as deep as the seabed.

He looked through the crowd and landed on Segnus: "Chi Tang, you always have a way to attract attention."

Cygnus was as cunning as a fox, and seemed to have eyes on the back of her head, and she keenly caught Gareth's sticky gaze.

She turned her head lightly, and their eyes collided fiercely at that moment, as if sparks were flying in the air.

"Hmm, here it comes again, this blatant peeping." Segnus sneered in her heart, the corners of her mouth slightly raised, revealing a mocking smile.

She knew very well in her heart that this once dear relative had long been corrupted by the desire for her throne of power, both in the past life and now.

Their hatred is as deep as the sea and as thick as blood.

"Are you satisfied?" Segnus walked up to Gareth and asked in a low voice.

"I just didn't expect that you would solve the venomous snake problem in this way." Gareth shrugged, looking indifferent.

"As long as the goal is achieved, the process is not important." Segnus sneered, the ambition in her eyes becoming more and more obvious, "Besides, I got what I wanted."

"You are always so self-righteous, Cygnus." Gareth smiled disapprovingly, with deep hostility hidden in that smile.

Segnus raised his eyebrows and sneered: "Gareth, you'd better take care of your life, or you will die without knowing how."
