Walking out of the classroom, the noisy corridor did not comfort Draco at all, his hands were still cold.

He subconsciously moved away from the crowd until he found an empty corner, and suddenly hugged Segnus tightly.

Cygnus was startled by Draco's actions, but she soon understood his fear.

Draco had tears in his eyes and his body was shaking like a frightened child.

"What that crazy professor said isn't true, right?" His voice was choked with sobs, his eyes full of help.

Senus' heart felt like it was pierced by a needle. She patted Draco's back gently and gave him the most firm answer:

"None of it is true, don't worry."

She gently wiped the tears from Draco's eyes.

"What Professor Trelawney said is nothing but nonsense. We cannot let these unrealistic prophecies affect us."

Cygnus' words were firm and warm, and she tried to bring Draco out of his fear.

Draco tightly grasped Cygnus' sleeve, his eyes revealing a hint of dependence:

"But, what she said was so real, I...I'm really scared."

"I understand your fear, Draco."

"But you have to believe that I will always be by your side and will never leave you. No matter what happens, we will face it together."

After listening to what Segnus said, Draco's emotions gradually calmed down. He nodded to show that he believed her.

Just then, Hermione hurried over, and seeing the looks of Draco and Seconas, she couldn't help but frowned.

"What's wrong with you two?" Hermione asked concernedly.

Segnus briefly explained to Hermione what had just happened. Hermione smiled softly after listening:

"You really don't have to take Professor Trelawney's words to heart. Her prophecies are most likely nonsense."

Hermione's words made Draco and Sensei laugh, and the tense atmosphere was immediately eased a lot.

Just then, Harry and Ron also caught up, and seeing the looks of Draco and Sigman, they both looked a little worried.

Cygnus remembered Professor Trelawney's prediction to Harry about the black dog.

She turned to Harry and said seriously, "You know, Professor Trelawney's predictions about you are not all bad. The appearance of the black dog may not be a sign of misfortune."

Harry frowned and asked in confusion: "You mean, black dogs may not be a bad thing? But this is inconsistent with what Professor Trelawney said..."

“Sometimes, predictions aren’t as absolute as we’d like them to be.”

Segnus comforted her, "We must learn to be rational and not be swayed by fear."

After comforting Harry, Cygnus turned to look at Ron, with a hint of request in her eyes.

Asked softly:

"Ron, can you lend me Scabbers for a while? I want to study why a mouse can live for more than ten years."

Ron was stunned, a conflicted expression on his face.

Banban has been his companion since childhood and has accompanied him through many lonely times. He is really reluctant to lend Banban to someone else.

But when he saw Senses' expectant eyes and thought of Hermione, he hesitated for a moment and finally nodded.

"Okay, I'll lend it to you," Ron said reluctantly, "but you must take good care of Scabbers and not let it get hurt."

Cygnus smiled, she knew how difficult it was for Ron to make this decision.

She said seriously: "Don't worry, Ron, I will treat Scabbers like my own friend."

Ron was very happy that Segnus was willing to talk to him actively. He felt that this was a sign that Segnus had gradually accepted him.

He glanced at Hermione secretly, but found that Hermione did not seem particularly happy about this.

He felt a little disappointed, but he quickly cheered up. After all, friendship takes time to cultivate.

The next class was Transfiguration, and Professor McGonagall stood at the podium, her body magically transformed into a tabby cat.

However, the atmosphere in the classroom today was very different from usual and was unusually silent.

Even the good students Hermione and Silence seemed a little distracted.

Professor McGonagall noticed that something was wrong with the students, and she asked with concern:

"What's going on with everyone today? Why are you all so quiet?"

Hermione hesitated, then raised her hand and said:

"Professor, we just finished a divination class and read the tea leaves. The result is..."

Before Hermione could finish, Professor McGonagall suddenly interrupted her and asked seriously, "Who will die this year?"

Everyone looked at Professor McGonagall in surprise, and finally Harry said, "Me and Silence."

Professor McGonagall was a little surprised and looked at Harry and Silence seriously.

"Since Sybill Trelawney came to this school, she has predicted the death of a student every year. I didn't expect there would be two this year, but please don't worry, because up to now, no student has died."

Professor McGonagall's words eased the atmosphere in the classroom a lot. Everyone smiled at each other, and the originally heavy atmosphere gradually dissipated.

She went on to say, “Actually, I personally don’t think highly of Divination classes. As a Transfiguration teacher, I believe more in reality and action.

But since Professor Trelawney's predictions have worried you, I will make you a promise:

If you two really die, I promise I won't assign you any homework!"

Hearing this, everyone couldn't help laughing, and Harry and Sigma couldn't help laughing as well.

Although Professor McGonagall's promise was a bit nonsensical, it made everyone feel a little warm and comforted.

Professor McGonagall smiled and continued:

"However, before that, I still hope that you can concentrate on your studies and not let these prophecies affect your lives. Now, let's start today's Transfiguration class!"

After class, Pansy and Blaise immediately surrounded Cygnus, their faces full of worry and anger.

"Signus, don't listen to that crazy woman Trelawney's nonsense." Pansy said angrily, "Her words are simply not credible."

Blaise nodded in agreement: "Yes, she predicts this and that every year, but what's the result? Isn't it all nonsense!"

Cygnus looked at her two friends gratefully, knowing that they were comforting her, and she felt warm in her heart.

Ron found Harry after class and asked him worriedly, "Harry, have you really seen the black dog that Professor Trelawney talked about?"

Harry frowned, thought for a moment, then said, "Actually, I did see a skinny black dog when I left the Dursleys. It was standing on the corner of the street, looking at me with those sinister eyes."

"Really?" Ron asked in surprise.

Harry nodded: "But I don't think that's the black dog Professor Trelawney was talking about. After all, London is so big, there must be more than one black dog."

At this time, Cygnus came over, heard their conversation, and comforted Harry, saying, "Don't worry, Harry, that black dog is not necessarily bad luck.

Sometimes, these predictions are not as accurate as we think.”

The so-called black dog that brings misfortune is your godfather. Of course, Segnus did not say this out loud.
