HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 97 Strange reaction

Cygnus returned to the Slytherin common room and her eyes fell on Draco.

Draco glanced at Seconas and frowned, his eyes full of conflict and pain.

Without saying anything, he just slammed the door and walked into the boys' dormitory.

Cygnus ignored his rude behavior, she understood how Draco felt at the moment.

She sighed softly, turned and went into the girls' dormitory to find Pansy.

Cygnus pushed open the door and saw Pansy choosing clothes. She heard footsteps and looked up at Cygnus with a questioning look in her eyes.

"Signus, what happened? Draco..."

Cygnus walked over to Pansy and patted her shoulder gently, telling her not to worry.

"It's okay, Pansy, Draco is just having some mood swings, he will adjust."

Pansy nodded, but her eyes were still filled with worry.

She knew Draco's character very well and knew that he would not lose his composure like this unless something serious happened.

His hands unconsciously clenched his clothes and he wondered, could it be that Sensenas had made some serious mistake that made Draco so unhappy?

However, on second thought, she rejected this idea - in her mind, Segnus was almost perfect, how could he make a mistake?

Pansy's actions did not escape Segnus's eyes. She smiled gently and tried to dispel Pansy's doubts with a relaxed tone:

"Look at you, you're wrinkled like an old man. I'm really fine. Draco just encountered some troubles. He will be fine after a while."

Pansy loosened her grip on the clothes and thought, yes, they are twins who grew up together, how could there be any overnight grudge between them?

"Oh, come to think of it, I'm a little hungry too."

Cygnus said coquettishly, winking at her eyes with a hint of playfulness, "Perhaps we should go to the Great Hall to eat something first?"

After hearing this, Pansy immediately nodded in agreement and quickly changed her clothes.

As they passed the Slytherin common room, Draco just came out of the boys' dormitory.

When he saw Cygnus, a complex emotion flashed across his face, but he quickly snorted, raised his head, and walked towards the auditorium with an arrogant look.

Pansy shrugged. It seemed that the two of them really had a quarrel, and Draco was getting tough.

The two came to the Slytherin table in the hall. There were already countless delicacies on the table, and the tempting aroma filled the air.

Cygnus sat down next to Draco naturally, her movements graceful and smooth, seemingly unaffected by the previous unpleasantness.

Draco stiffened for a moment and looked at Cygnus mechanically, a hint of surprise in his eyes.

Even though I treated Segnus like this, I didn't expect her to still sit next to me.

The corners of his mouth twitched slightly, and he wanted to say something, but in the end he didn't open his mouth.

Cygnus picked up a piece of toast, lightly buttered it, and handed it to Draco.

Draco was stunned for a moment, looking at the bread in her hand with complicated eyes.

He took the bread slowly, his movements somewhat hesitant.

His fingers lightly touched Segnus's hand, and a mixture of emotions welled up in him.

He knew he shouldn't treat Segnus like this, but there was always an inexplicable force deep in his heart that made him hate her uncontrollably, as if he was being controlled by something.

This feeling confused him, but he couldn't get rid of it.

He was just trying to muster up the courage to talk to Segnus in an attempt to ease the tense atmosphere, but his mind suddenly went blank.

Draco's eyes widened, the embarrassment and confusion in his heart made him unable to speak.

Then, the feeling of disliking Segnus grew stronger and stronger, and he didn't even dare to look her in the eyes.

Draco suddenly stood up with a flustered look, pushed the chair away and sat somewhere else.

His hands were gripping the edge of the table so tightly that his knuckles turned white from the exertion.

Blaise raised an eyebrow at Draco's actions, feeling curious.

He turned to Cygnus and asked in a half-joking tone: "Is this guy crazy?"

Segnus shook his head calmly, said nothing, and just smiled slightly.

Seeing this, Blaise stopped asking questions and stood up and sat next to Draco.

Looking at Draco eating his food silently with his head down, I couldn't help but find it a little funny.

Blaise nudged Draco with his elbow and asked with concern, "Brother, what's going on? Are you worried about something?"

Draco shook his head, still unwilling to speak. He just lowered his head and mechanically put food into his mouth.

Blaise was stunned as he watched Draco mechanically eat the decorative flowers on the plate.

He looked at Draco with disdain, couldn't help laughing and said, "Brother, you are really hungry, you can eat anything."

Draco was stunned, looked up at Blaise, a trace of confusion flashed across his face.

Only then did he realize that he had eaten the flower without realizing it.

Embarrassment and shame suddenly flooded his heart, and his cheeks turned slightly red.

Blaise saw this and found Draco's reaction funny, and couldn't help but laugh even louder.

He covered his stomach with his hands and laughed so hard that he fell backwards, attracting curious glances from the students around him.

Draco was a little annoyed, and he yelled, "Shut up!"

The sound echoed in the auditorium, causing everyone present to look towards them.

Draco looked around and saw that the Slytherin students all lowered their heads. They didn't want to provoke the Malfoy family.

Draco's movements were swift and powerful. He clenched his fists, veins bulging on the backs of his white hands.

His eyes were like sharp arrows, shooting sharply at Brace, warning him not to continue teasing.

Seeing this, Bryce immediately shut his mouth and raised his hands in surrender.

He knew Draco's temper and was aware that his laughter just now was indeed a bit excessive.

The atmosphere suddenly became tense, and the people at the Slytherin table watched Draco cautiously, fearing that they would become the target of his anger.

Suddenly, a voice broke the tension, "I don't know what's so funny."

Everyone looked at Harry Potter in surprise, not understanding why he would speak up for Draco Malfoy, considering that the two of them had always been at odds with each other.

Harry walked straight up to Draco and motioned for him to follow him out.

Draco hesitated, but eventually followed.

Harry led Draco to a quieter corner. He turned to face Draco, a serious look in his eyes.

"Draco, let me ask you, do you also hate Cygnus inexplicably?" Harry asked directly.

Draco was stunned. He looked into Harry's eyes with a confused look on his face. Then he shook his head: "I don't know, Harry. I do have an indescribable aversion to her, but I don't know why."

Harry frowned and watched Draco's expression carefully, trying to find some clues from it.

"Have you ever thought that this might be the effect of some kind of magic or curse?" Harry guessed.

Draco did not disbelieve what Harry said. After returning from the Quidditch field, he developed a strong dislike for Sigman.

The two hit it off and decided to find out who was behind it.
