Seeing Yuan Ye suddenly sitting up, he loosened his hand weakly and put the knife back.

Yuanye stared at the cat sitting there in a daze, then raised his head and smiled softly, as if relieved from a heavy burden.

She relaxed her whole body, not even trying to straighten her back, and just huddled up like that.
