"Welcome, everyone!"

The deep voice of the Raikage echoed over the arena.

Sitting next to him was Jiraiya. Behind Jiraiya stood two guards, the Second Hokage and the Fourth Hokage.

"It is a pity that Lady Tsunade was unable to attend this tournament." The Raikage said, wondering why Tsunade did not come in person.

"But, Lord Tsuchikage doesn't seem to be paying much attention to this game." Jiraiya asked tentatively, wanting to know what the Raikage thought about this matter. "I heard that Lord Mizukage didn't come because the Kirigakure didn't have a team in the finals. I can understand that, but the Iwagakure did have a team in the finals."

"He is old." The Raikage said calmly, "It is time for him to step down and let others take over. However, you know that the old man is very stubborn. He will not give up easily until the last moment."

Jiraiya listened, smiled and nodded.

"The game begins!"

## Inside the Arena ##

"Cheer up, everyone!" When a burly ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village appeared on the field, all the contestants turned their eyes to him.

He has bronze skin, well-developed muscles, short white hair, and a goatee on his chin. On his right shoulder, there is a tattoo of the word "iron", and on his left cheek there is a tattoo of a bull's horn.

He was wearing a pair of sunglasses, a forehead protector of the Hidden Cloud Village on his head, a standard Hidden Cloud Village ninja vest on his body, a red belt around his waist, a pair of ninja shoes on his feet, and a white scarf around his neck.

"Come on, Shikamaru, give him a good lesson!" Tenten stood in the audience, cheering loudly for Shikamaru.

Kurotsuchi will definitely be able to defeat him easily!"

"That may not be the case." Naruto said nonchalantly. Kurotsuchi was stunned for a moment, then turned his head to look at the arena.

"She's right." Hinata whispered to Naruto, "Shikamaru's chances of winning are slim. Akatsuki is a very strong opponent, and his earth-style ninjutsu is very powerful."

"You have to have faith in Shikamaru." Naruto said with a smile. Hinata nodded doubtfully.

"Akagi of Iwagakure versus Nara Shikamaru of Konohagakure!" Killer Bee announced loudly, and the two players faced each other several meters apart. Killer Bee walked between the two and raised his right hand.

"Are both players ready?"

"We're ready!" Akatsuki and Shikamaru said in unison, their eyes never leaving their opponents.
