Naruto: We are invincible

"Earth Style: Quicksand!" Lian changed the composition of the soil under Naruto's feet, trapping him in a quicksand trap. The more Naruto struggled, the deeper he sank, until the sand submerged his neck.

'Nice trap,' Naruto thought as he disappeared in a flash of yellow light and teleported to the Flying Thunder God mark he had left on Ren at the start of the match.

"You're wrong." Hinata said softly.

"Tell me about it." Neji snorted.

"Naruto-kun is very strong," Hinata said, "even though he might not admit it, he is very proud of himself. He has yet to meet anyone who can truly challenge him, and even I have to admit that I am no match for him." Hinata smiled and Neji raised an eyebrow.

"Naruto-kun loves to fight, there's no doubt about that. Since he's so strong, there are very few battles that he can take seriously. When fighting weaker opponents, he tends to evaluate them before the battle. If he thinks they're worthy, he'll give them a chance and let them try their best; otherwise, he'll just make a quick fight and end it quickly," Hinata said.

"In my opinion, this is arrogance at its best," Neji said flatly.

"Maybe," Hinata agreed, "but that's what he's doing now. He must have sensed something special in Ren to give her a chance."
