Statues of Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama stand here, both in fighting stances, as if they are still fighting to this day.

Above Uchiha Madara's head, there was a man sitting, his cloak fluttering in the wind.

He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and black gloves. He had a thick black belt tied around his waist. But what caught the most attention was the strange mask on his face. The mask was bright orange with a spiral pattern, leaving only his right eye exposed.

The cape he wears is adorned with red clouds, identifying him as a member of the Akatsuki organization.

According to Jiraiya, Akatsuki is searching for the Tailed Beasts.

The man appears to be lost in deep thought, staring off into space as if searching for the meaning of life.

The same figure was walking in some unknown cave.

He stopped when he noticed two other figures walking towards him.

The first has orange spiked hair and multiple metal piercings in his nose, ears, and lower lip, but the most striking thing about him are his purple eyes. He wears a black cape with a red cloud.

The other figure was clearly a woman, with blue hair, amber eyes, and paper flowers tied in her hair.

"We need to talk... Madara." The orange spiky haired figure said seriously to the orange masked man.

"Of course, Payne...Afei is a good boy."Afei said in a childish voice.

"Stop it," Payne said in a serious voice.

Ah Fei immediately became serious.

"We have some information you... missed," Payne explained.

"What?" A Fei asked.

"First, Kisame and Uchiha Itachi heard very interesting news while scouting for the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki."

"Just get to the point," said Ah Fei.

"The Nine-Tails Jinchuriki claims to be the grandson of Uchiha Madara." Pein said and Fei's eyes widened, "Your grandson, to be exact." Pein looked Fei straight in the eyes and waited for his reaction.

"What evidence does he have?" Ah Fei asked, his mind racing, trying to figure out what was going on.

"And he also has the Sharingan." Pein said in a flat voice.

"Very interesting…if that brat has a Sharingan, that can only mean it came from Minato Namikaze."

"Explain?" Payne raised his tone, exuding a hint of murderous intent, trying to exert pressure.

"It's none of your business." Ah Fei answered bluntly.

"Madara," Pein stressed, "He had the Mangekyō and almost killed Kisame and Itachi."

"Anything else?" asked Fei.

"Yes... He seems to have the same invisible ability as you - Kamui." Pain added, which shocked Ah Fei again.

"This makes him very difficult to capture." Ah Fei shook his head.

"I need answers, Madara." Pein's voice rose slightly.

"I don't report to you... You work for me, and you'd better remember that." A Fei sneered, his Sharingan glowing. "But I will find out."

After saying this, Ah Fei disappeared, leaving behind an angry Payne and the lady.

"I don't like this." The lady looked skeptical. "What proof do we have that he is really Madara?"

"All the clues fit...his strength, his knowledge, his grandson has the same Sharingan." Pein said.

But this didn't seem to ease Xiaonan's doubts.

"Don't think about that for now... let's focus on the current mission and the preparations to capture the tailed beast." Pain said and the two of them left the cave.

Ah Fei felt someone approaching.

The man is a tall, tanned, muscular man. He wears a white hood and a black mask with only his eyes showing. His entire body is covered in various stitches.

He is none other than Kakuzu, the S-rank rebel ninja from Takigakure Village.

"Is everything ready? Do you have any offerings?" asked Ah Fei.

"Yes..." Kakuzu said, sitting next to Afei on the cliff. "How did you know he would join the mission?" Kakuzu asked.

"You forget that Zetsu has spies everywhere...his spy network even dwarfs Jiraiya's." Afei grinned.

Zetsu is a member of the Akatsuki organization, mainly responsible for intelligence gathering.

"Do you remember your main goal?" asked Ah Fei.

"But...how can you be sure he will cooperate?" Kakuzu asked.

"The right motivation can make people malleable." Ah Fei looked at the sky mysteriously.

"Let's get started," Kakuzu said, standing up and walking towards the center of the Fire Country.

## Konoha - Senju Compound - 12 hours ago ##

The sun rises, shining on Konoha, and vendors open their shops to start a new day.

The room was dark, with a few beams of light coming through the window and shining right into Naruto's eyes, waking him from his sleep.

He yawned softly and looked down to see Hinata sleeping on top of him, resting her head on his chest and letting out a contented sigh.

"What do you think of our new room?" Naruto asked softly, stroking her hair. He noticed that even though her hair was a little messy, it still looked beautiful to him.

The room was big enough for a couple, and they had a bedside table on each side. A wardrobe built into the wooden wall had enough space for all their clothes. The room also had a private bathroom and a small storage room where they kept their scrolls and weapons.

"I think it's ok...the pillow is still the same." Hinata giggled and Naruto also laughed. To her, any part of Naruto's body was her pillow.

"It's time to get up." Naruto said.

"...Sleep for another five minutes." Hinata pouted coquettishly and drew circles on his chest.

Naruto created a shadow clone to prepare breakfast.

Naruto sat up and placed Hinata easily on his lap, happily eating his breakfast.

They have no plans today so they can enjoy the day.

"Why don't we go to grandma's office." Naruto looked at the clock on the bedside table, "It's past ten, so grandma should be in the office... Damn, we really overslept." Naruto said with a smile.

"Let's go." Hinata replied.

## Hokage's Office ##

Naruto and Hinata walked towards the Hokage building.

They reached the office door and saw Shizune at the desk.

"Shizune, are you Granny's secretary now?" Naruto asked and she nodded, working on the paperwork.

"Is grandma busy?" Naruto asked.

"No hurry...you can go in." Shizune said, stamping a document and placing it on a nearby pile of documents.

Naruto and Hinata walked to the door, pushed it open and entered, seeing Tsunade buried in a pile of papers, next to the Third Hokage smoking, looking unconcerned.

It looked like the documents had piled up when the Third Hokage asked Jiraiya to go find Tsunade.

"Good morning, grandma, old man."

Tsunade looked up from the pile of papers and noticed Naruto and Hinata standing in front of her.

"Hey, Naruto, Hinata. What brought you into my nightmare?" Tsunade said.

"Grandma, do you have a mission for us?" Naruto asked.

"Shizune." Tsunade called out.

"Yes, Lady Tsunade?"

"Bring Nara Shikamaru and Uchiha Sasuke here." Tsunade said. Shizune nodded and left.

"Why do you need both of them?" Naruto asked.

"This mission requires teammates." Tsunade said, and Naruto sighed.

"I hope Sasuke stays out of trouble."

"What's wrong?" Tsunade asked.

"It's just that Sasuke and I don't really get along."

"By the way...you are all on the latest wanted list." The Third Hokage said, throwing a book to him.
