The domineering president meets her

Chapter 18 He Saw Her for the First Time

The two cars collided violently with a bang, and the driver was killed on the spot.

Fortunately, he and his mother did not suffer any serious problems at the time. However, his legs were severely sprained and his tendons and bones were broken, so he had to spend a long time in a wheelchair to cooperate with the treatment.

The memory of the car accident left a deep shadow on his mind. He was very depressed during that time, so his mother prepared many gifts and decided to take him to interact with the orphans to relax.

As misfortunes never come singly, the mother and son's itinerary for going to the orphanage was leaked.

He was kidnapped by his enemy again.

In the chaos of the escape, the accompanying driver pushed him in a wheelchair to the back of the kitchen wall, where a tall and large pile of dry firewood was hidden.

"My dear master, no matter what happens, you must not run out by yourself. I will go to get help." Then he ran in the opposite direction, deliberately trying to divert the criminals who were searching for them.

Looking at the direction the driver ran, the leader, who was wearing a black hood and only kept his sight, waved to his brothers and said cunningly, "We will split into two groups, you guys chase them quickly."

Then he called the rest of the brothers and said, "Follow me and search around here."

He couldn't see what was happening outside, he only heard the rustling footsteps approaching the direction where he was hiding. His heart was pounding so hard that it almost jumped out of his throat. He heard someone ask calmly, "Has the target appeared?"

"Brother, I clearly saw him hiding over here, how come he disappeared all of a sudden?"

"sure?"

"determine."

"Then search carefully again and don't miss any corner."

After a while, "Brother, I didn't see it. The little cripple is running pretty fast."

"Split up and act quickly, time is running out."

"Yes."

"Uncle, what are you doing? Are you looking for someone?" Suddenly a cute voice sounded.

The criminals with scars all over their faces turned around and saw a little girl with curly hair holding a pink honey bear. She tilted her head and blinked her big watery eyes to look at them curiously. Just as they were about to scold them, the vicious leader had a plan in mind and stretched out his short, fat hand to signal everyone to stay calm.

He immediately put on a smile, squatted down, and asked in a pretended kind tone, "Little sister, have you seen a little boy passing by here? The uncles were playing hide-and-seek with him! But now we are ready to go home, and we haven't found him yet. Have you seen him? Do you know where he is? Come, as long as you tell the uncles where he is, the uncles will give you delicious food and money."

"No need, is this the little brother in the wheelchair?"

"Yes, yes, yes. Tell me where he is. All this money is yours."

"He went in that direction, and there was someone pushing him!"

Those criminals who were struggling to find the person were all delighted when they heard this; this news was really easy to obtain.

After hearing this, he was hiding in the firewood pile and was terrified.

Although no one told him his identity since he was a child, others never dared to look him in the eye; whenever he appeared, the servants in the house stood respectfully waiting for orders, and every time they saw him, they looked at him submissive, and people followed him wherever he went; he knew that his identity was different from others, and was honorable and glorious in the eyes of others; gradually, he also realized that such an identity would give him a layer of protection, but would also bring him fatal harm.

He closed his eyes, leaned gently against the back of the wheelchair, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. Perhaps he would die here today.

Who knew that after a while, she appeared in front of him, "Brother, don't be afraid, I will take you to a safe place." Holding a pink teddy bear, the petite girl appeared in front of him.

Looking at his scraped elbow bleeding, the blood had now dried and solidified into a dark bloodstain.

"Little brother, does it hurt? Mom said that if you blow on it after a fall, the pain will go away. I'll blow on it for you and it will go away." She blew gently on his wound, and her soft breath blew on the wound as gently as a soft feather.

For some reason, he felt an inexplicable trust in her when he first saw her.

"Little brother, let's go. Those bad guys might come back later." The little girl said as she used all her strength, bent down and pushed the wheelchair with him to a more remote place.

When they arrived in front of a small house, she bent over and groped in the inconspicuous pile of fallen leaves beside the threshold. He was wondering why she still had the heart to play, but a moment later she took out a key tied with a red rope, tiptoed but skillfully unlocked it, pushed open one of the heavy doors with all her strength, turned around and reached for the wheelchair handle to push him in with great effort.

What caught the eye were piles of small barns and neatly stacked bags of flour; and spices, dried corn, and various storable dry crops hung in strings on the beams and walls. It turned out that this was the welfare home's small granary.

As he reminded the little girl to close the door, they both saw the obvious wheel marks on the fallen leaves in front of the door, which were caused by the wheelchair's rubber wheels. The little girl tilted her head and said in a baby voice, "Little brother, stay here, I'll go and smooth out those wheel marks on the fallen leaves."

Just after taking a few steps, he turned back as if worried: "Little brother, please help me hold my teddy bear. You can't come out without me calling you. I will be back soon."

When she walked out of the door, when she turned around and stood on tiptoe with difficulty to pull the door knocker, the sunlight shone from behind her, and her whole body was coated with a layer of warm golden color, which made people feel warm; the delicate beads of sweat on her forehead, the rosy little face, and the firm eyes that did not match her young age.

Slowly closing the door, he heard the sound of her locking the door. After a while, he heard the faint sound of ruffling dry leaves, and then there was no sound.

I guess she carefully hid the key in the inconspicuous pile of fallen leaves beside the door.

The noise outside could no longer be heard, and it was quiet. He carefully looked around the warehouse, and the visible brightness was acceptable. In addition to the grain, there were several small windows lined up at the two-meter ventilation hole above the grain warehouse, and a blower was installed in each small window to facilitate the natural cold air to be drawn into the room for ventilation and cooling. It seems that they are half responsible for the dryness and non-stifling heat in the warehouse.

Suddenly, he heard a few noisy male voices coming from outside, and the cursing voices fluctuated. He had a bad feeling in his heart, thinking that the little girl would be very scared when she was alone outside. He used both hands to slide the wheels of the wheelchair, came to the door, and put his head down to the door to see if he could hear anything. Unfortunately, the thick door was closed tightly, and there was not even a crack in the door, so he couldn't hear what they were saying at all.
