Chapter 127 Island Rest
"Is that an island?"
Phil Gray rubbed his stomach. His empty stomach made him a little hungry. Finally, the outline of an island appeared at the end of his vision, but it didn't look very clear.
"It seems so. You are lucky." Frank replied after floating forward for a distance.
The white shark carried him forward towards the island and finally reached the land before the sun set.
"I don't know what island this is, and how far it is from Malu Island." Phil Gray stepped onto the somewhat dry land, which was covered with dried plants and some messy gravel.
"Food, hey, I need to eat something." He chewed the candy Caroline gave him, but it was the last one.
But fortunately they have reached land. He glanced at the two undead in the air. They were standing there like wooden men, and their strange faces would scare people if they didn't pay attention.
The other one looked left and right, as if he hadn't seen the human world for a hundred years.
As it was getting darker, he found some dry firewood and lit a bonfire on the beach.
After struggling to spear a few sea fish with the Flying Blade of Destiny, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"I'll go inside the island and maybe I can help you find a way to leave." Frank couldn't hold back any longer and was almost about to float away with the sea breeze.
Phil Gray could understand his feelings. If he had been trapped in the abyss for so many years, he would definitely want to see the scenery of various places after coming to the human world. Besides, ghosts would not get tired.
He smiled and said, "Thank you Mr. Frank for bringing me some other food if you have any."
"no problem."
The ghost disappeared quickly.
Night had fallen, and the only sounds on the quiet island were the crackling of the campfire and the rising and falling of the tide. He couldn't tell what species these fish were, but they were big and looked very tender.
"I wish I liked storing food in space like Patrick. I must remember it next time." Phil Gray was drawing the pattern of the flower of destiny on the beach out of boredom.
Fate is so strange. Now he and his companions are separated. I don’t know what they are doing now. I can only hope that each of them can escape from danger and wait for the day of reunion.
Also, he forgot to tell Caroline to be extremely careful, after all, the strange church was destroyed, but it swallowed her up again in the picture.
"God of Destiny, please help me find the right direction!" Phil Gray prayed silently. The ghost was present just now, so it was not convenient for him to do so.
He threw a branch, which pointed to his left.
"I hope this is not meaningless. Let's move in this direction tomorrow!" He stood up and looked in that direction. The vast sea was boundless, with only small ripples occasionally, as if something was swimming under the sea.
The aroma of fish wafted in, and he looked at the roasted brown fish with a smile on his face.
"I'm back. This island is not big, but for some reason the plants don't grow well. There are only some fruits like this. Do you want to try them? From what I can tell, they should not be poisonous." Frank floated over, and several red fruits fell from the sky and landed in Phil Gray's arms.
"Thank you." After saying thank you, Phil Gray took a bite. It was sweet and sour and tasted similar to strawberries on Earth, but with the crispness of an apple.
I don't know what fruit it is.
"Mr. Frank, I'll rest here for one night, and we'll set off in that direction tomorrow, okay?" He wiped his hands and pointed.
"No problem. I'll look at the moon again. You take a rest. Tomorrow I will use this to summon the unlucky shark out again for you to use as a mount." Frank smiled and said. His eyes were softly looking at the moon. The ghost's body was looming in the moonlight.
"Okay, thank you." Phil Gray casually lay on a pile of dry plants. "I see that you are so attached to the human world. Why did you choose to go to the abyss? Were you a follower of the God of Death when you were alive?"
"Of course not. I was the light of wisdom when I was alive."
"Ah?" Phil Gray looked at Frank in surprise. The owner of this resting house actually believed in the god of knowledge and wisdom during his lifetime?
"I stayed in the abyss just to find someone. I thought I could be a ghost partner with her in the abyss, but later I found out that she was not in the abyss, but entered the Wheel of Life. Unfortunately, hundreds of years have passed now, and I have almost forgotten what she looks like." Frank had a faint smile on his face, as if he was recalling the past.
"Is it the girl in the painting that I sacrificed to you?" Phil Gray thought for a moment and asked.
"haha, yes."
"Oh, do you regret it?"
"No, maybe I regretted it at first, but after I realized that I had endless years to pursue truth and knowledge after becoming a ghost, I let it go. I just really want to come to the human world and take a look."
Phil Gray fell asleep while chatting with Frank and listening to the sound of the sea.
"Hey! Wake up! Something happened!"
Phil Gray heard Frank's voice and rubbed his sleepy eyes. The glaring sunlight made him feel a little uncomfortable. It was already daytime, but it didn't seem to be early yet.
"What's wrong? What happened?"
"The undead that followed you left on his own." Frank said with surprise.
"what?"
Phil Gray looked up in front, behind, left and right, and indeed did not see the strange figure.
"He has lost his intelligence, how could he suddenly leave? Did anything happen before? How did he behave just now?"
"I don't know. I was thinking about something, and suddenly that guy exuded a powerful aura. It was the power of the morning light. I was afraid that he would hurt me, so I stepped back for a distance. Then I saw him flying away, but he left in the direction you pointed yesterday." Frank shook his head and explained.
This is really bizarre, has he regained his sanity?
Phil Gray frowned, although he was very happy that the guy was no longer following him, he was afraid that he might cause trouble after he left. However, for now, he only attacked the undead, so there should be nothing to worry about.
Thinking of this, he said:
"Just let him be, it's better to leave, it's time for us to continue on our journey."
"Okay, I was actually very skeptical about your direction yesterday, but that guy also left in this direction, so there shouldn't be any problem." Frank said, taking out yesterday's flute and starting to play his "forte" music.
Phil Gray looked at the white shark swimming over and swallowed the words on his lips. He originally wanted to make a new flute with the branches on the island, but now it seems that sharks may prefer this kind of sound.
