"We have two other rooms. Our family will stay in this one tonight, and you can stay in the other two. Ella, take this guest to rest." said the farmer.

Ella hurriedly drank the wine that was given to her. As soon as the sweetness reached her taste buds, she saw her father's eyes. She could only lower her head and say to Eli, "Sir, come with me."

Eli frowned, but followed Ella into the next room, which seemed to be the residence of the little girl and her sister. A whitish pink dress was hanging on the wooden shelf.

The two beds were placed on both sides against the wooden wall, which was neat and clean.

"You and one of the gentlemen can rest here. Next to it is my parents' bedroom, where the other two gentlemen live," said Ella.

"This is not appropriate. How can we let two young ladies squeeze into that room while we sleep in your beds?" Eli wanted to refuse.

But Ella was shaking her head frantically, "No, no, no, sir, you spent money, and we would feel bad if we let you squeeze together. My sister and I squeezed together with our parents when we were young. It's okay, you must not refuse."

She looked up at Eli, her face slightly flushed, "Thank you for the lilies."

"It's okay, I'll rest here."

Eli couldn't refuse the girl's offer.

Ella returned to the bustling room and saw two more strange guests walking in, a green-eyed gentleman and lady.

"You are having a big dinner here without inviting us. Fortunately, Mr. Dwyer told us." Mrs. Dean said with a smile.

Mr. Allen also remained noncommittal.

"Come on, let's enjoy it together. If it's not enough, I'll get it from the carriage. After all, we're traveling companions." Patrick laughed.

Dinner did not last long. Although Patrick took out his own collection of fine wine and treated them to a drink of their fill, they had to rest early as they had to continue their journey tomorrow. Under the guidance of the farmer and his wife, he and Patrick went to the house on the far left, while Ernest went to find Eli.

The fire was still burning, but the lights were out. The village was extremely quiet late at night. Phil Gray shut up the drunk and talkative Patrick and fell asleep.

In the early morning, the moon shyly hid in the clouds, and it was pitch dark in the room.

Eli was looking for his golden butterfly flower in his dream when he felt a pair of hands groping his face and the heat spread to his neck.

He was speechless, "Your bed is over there! Who is this idiot?"

But the hands did not stop, and he even felt a soft touch with heat falling on his cheek.

He shivered suddenly and felt something was wrong. He sat up, but his sleepy eyes were awakened when he saw the person in front of him.

This is Ella!

The girl in front of him had affectionate eyes and half-removed clothes. She looked at him shyly, and the lily he gave her was pinned in her long, slightly curly brown hair.

How is this going?

The girl's cheeks turned a little red, and she closed her eyes, intending to put her lips on Eli's face again, until Eli pushed her away.

The drunken knight woke up when he heard the noise, and couldn't believe what he saw.

There was a young girl sitting on her companion's bed, her clothes half taken off, and she was crying softly.

Considering that his companion usually looked quite romantic, he decided to wait and see what happened.

Eli was very angry. Although he often said "Only flowers and beauties should not be wasted", he was not the kind of person who liked to go to bed with beautiful women casually.

"What are you doing!" Eli stood up and looked at the still crying girl with a cold look.

It was not until a bright fire and noisy sounds suddenly appeared in the dark yard that they realized something was wrong.

Someone kicked open the door, and Eli covered the girl's body with a quilt until he saw that the person who came in was the farmer who had warmly entertained him today.

His eyes revealed an angry expression, and behind him walked out a white-haired old man, leaning on a cane and looking equally angry.

"Village chief, I felt something was wrong tonight. He kept staring at my daughter in a lustful manner and gave her flowers. Fortunately, my youngest daughter discovered that they had entered her sister's house. Of course, I couldn't beat so many of them, so I came to you, Village chief." The farmer said to the old man.

The old man's eyes rested on the lilies in the girl's hair.

"It's so ridiculous. It was obvious that she wanted to give the house to me and she even seduced me while I was asleep!" Eli was no longer angry. He crossed his arms and looked at the scene in front of him with amusement.

He never thought that this extremely absurd plot in the novel would happen to him one day. It was all because of his habit of giving flowers to others. He would never give flowers again!

"Although you don't look like ordinary people but noble lords, you can't damage the reputation of this poor girl. Either you marry Ella or give her some compensation." The village chief thought for a while, looked at the farmer, and signaled him to stop while he was ahead. It seemed that the village chief had guessed the real situation, but he still favored the people of his own village.

"Oh?" Eli looked at the girl again, her eyes pleading.

"I am willing to marry you. If you already have a wife at home, I am also willing to be your lover."

There was a lot of noise outside the door, as if many villagers were outside, and some unpleasant discussions could be heard coming in.

Ernest, on the other hand, stood there silently, with little sense of presence.

Eli could only say that he had misjudged this girl.

He said nothing, and no amount of explanation would be of any use, as all this was planned. But he did not want to let these people's ridiculous tricks succeed, so he just pushed aside the farmer who was blocking the door and planned to call others to leave.

But he heard another scream, the farmer's cries, and the old man angrily hitting the ground with his cane.

Looking back, I saw that the girl who was crying just now had turned green in color, with sticky blood constantly flowing out of her mouth. She fell on the bed without a breath.

"My daughter, how could you be like this? You...it's all your fault. You killed my daughter."

The farmer fell in front of the bed, looked at his lifeless daughter in horror, then pointed at Eli and yelled.

Eli was also a little puzzled. Although he was angry, he couldn't do anything. He was too lazy to bother with these ordinary people. What was going on?
