I am the Pope in the Western Fantasy World

Chapter 93: The Undead Appears

As soon as Phil Gray walked out of the captain's room, he felt something was wrong.

The corridor was filled with a strong smell of blood, which made people want to vomit.

Eli frowned, "It smells nasty."

Walking into the residential area, Phil Gray knocked on the first guest room, but there was no response, so he had to kick the door open.

"Ah!" Caroline covered her eyes, trembled, and fell to the ground.

"Damn undead!" Phil Gray clenched his fists, his eyes filled with anger.

The passenger in this room had become a skeleton. The floor and bed were covered with pieces of flesh. The splattered blood had dyed the curtains and floor red. There was also a pile of remaining internal organs casually discarded on the sofa beside the bed.

"Phil! Look somewhere else!"

Eli shouted in a deep voice, calling Phil Gray back from his state of being overwhelmed by anger.

Phil Gray slammed the door shut.

Open the next room, the scene inside...

The same is true.

The passengers in five or six rooms were killed.

Eli helped the pale Caroline up, and heard hurried footsteps in the corridor.

Viscount Ward, with several scars on his face, came over with two knights. They all looked very tired, as if they had just been through a battle.

Behind Viscount Ward was a fat man limping, the deputy captain in charge of the ship's resources. There was a knife wound on his right leg so deep that the bone was visible.

"Are you all right?" Phil Gray asked.

"We encountered the ghost who killed the priest of the Church of Life. He was wearing a chef's hat, so he must be a cook. He might be the owner of the diary you found yesterday." Viscount Ward's face was full of anger, and he frowned. "Moreover, he looks exactly like the corpse that was fished out of the sea that day."

Having said that, Viscount Ward touched the back of his head, gnashing his teeth as he recalled the day when his scalp was grabbed by a hand.

Then everything fits together, Tang was thrown into the sea and drowned.

It was Tang's body they fished out, but it was his ghost that was haunting them now?

Phil Gray pondered.

"Oh, you are all favored by God. Is there anyone who can heal me? Please help me heal my legs. It hurts so much. When I return to my Gold Coin No. 3, I will definitely reward you handsomely!" The fat man's mouth twitched, and he seemed to be in great pain.

"Shut up! Those who turned into bones didn't complain about the pain!" Viscount Ward glared at him and said to Phil Gray, "I have gathered the remaining passengers in the storage room and my knights are watching over them. But the Death Blessed One you asked me to keep an eye on is refusing to cooperate and is still staying in his room."

"He just took Jeremy's soul away!" Phil Gray said, "I don't know what he wants to do with the soul. Our top priority is to find him and find a way to ask Jeremy what happened."

"By the way, where's Tang?" he asked again.

"He didn't hit us just now, he just ran away." Viscount Ward gritted his teeth. If Tang had been found earlier, those innocent passengers would not have died tragically. But who could have thought that it would kill so many passengers in such a short time.

If the fat man hadn't had some means of coping, and hadn't insisted on leading Tang to them even though his leg was chopped, more passengers might have died.

Eli walked to the fat man, a green light flashed, and the bloody wound instantly turned into a shallow scar.

"Ah! Okay, thank you so much!" The fat man grinned happily, grabbed Eli's arm, and was extremely excited.

"No need to thank me. Just remember your generous reward. I'm waiting for it." Eli smiled. In such an emergency situation, he would not forget to help his boss make some extra money.

"Okay." The fat man nodded repeatedly.

"We can't find Tang yet, so we should go find Jeremy as soon as possible!" Phil Gray suggested.

They quickly walked to the guest room where the man in black robe lived.

Without caring about being polite, Viscount Ward used the power of the God of War to directly tear down the door.

"What are you doing? Why are you looking for me again? You don't have the ability to deal with those undead, but you always trouble me as a passenger?"

The man in black robe turned his back to them and made a sinister sound.

"Release Jeremy's ghost. We need to know the truth." Phil Gray looked coldly at the black figure in front of him.

"How do you know?" The man in black robe turned around with a look of surprise and doubt.

"Stop talking nonsense. If you don't release that undead ghost, I will make sure that you will never be able to return to the arms of your god again." Eli gave an intriguing smile.

"What do you mean?"

The man in black robe squinted his eyes, his face extremely gloomy.

"I am the favored one of the God of Life. Of course, there are many ways to make you experience all kinds of pain but still not die, such as planting a rose in your heart!"

Eli snapped his fingers, and the man in black robe felt an itchy sensation on his face, followed by pain as if his skin was bursting. He reached out and grabbed, and actually pulled out a rose.

"It's just a little warning!"

"Don't push me!" The man in black was about to get angry when suddenly a cold wind blew in the room. The strong fishy smell of sea water mixed with the smell of ginger and garlic made everyone present feel pungent.

The figure of a man wearing a chef's hat slowly emerged.

"Don!" Phil Gray yelled.

He didn't expect that Tang's ghost would dare to appear directly in front of them.

Tang's expression was very fierce. He glanced at the crowd around him and finally stopped his gaze on the man in black robe.

A hoarse, raspy voice came out, "You caught that guy Jeremy!"

The man in black robe was frightened by the sudden appearance of Tang's ghost, "So what?"

"Who told you his location?" Tang asked. The boning knife in his hand was still dripping with fresh blood, and he didn't know where it came from.

Phil Gray gestured to the people around him, indicating them to stay put, because he also wanted to know how the man in black knew that there was a hidden space in the captain's room.

The black-robed man had a cold look in his eyes, and he was not afraid of the vicious undead in front of him. "Why should I tell you?"

Tang was enraged, his face became ferocious, the boning knife in his hand spun rapidly, the blade slashed towards the man in black robe, leaving an afterimage, the speed was so fast that the others present had no time to react.

The black-robed man's pupils constricted. He had a bone shield in his hand and held it in front of him, but the knife was so sharp that it cut the shield in half like tofu.

The bloody blade was about to fall on the man in black robe.

"impossible!"

The man in black robe stood there in a daze, unable to react.

Phil Gray stared at the boning knife, and suddenly an idea came to his mind and he said aloud, "Fate - Exchange!"
