【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

When they arrived at the mansion, the children showed them the secret passage that Usopp used every day, and when they passed through the bushes they could clearly see Usopp sitting under a tree and happily chatting with a weak girl.

Usopp was immersed in the story he was telling when he heard the voices of Onionhead and the others. He looked to the side and found that his three friends and the pirates he just met today were standing in Kaya's garden. He shouted in shock, "Why are you here?"

"This man asked us to bring him here..." The children hurriedly pointed at Luffy who had a bright smile on his face.

"You are the lady!" Luffy said with a smile to the girl standing by the window, "We need your help with something."

"Invite me?" Ke Ya asked doubtfully.

"Yeah, we want a big ship." Luffy held out his hand to show her how big a ship he wanted.

"What are you guys doing here!?"

A stern voice suddenly interrupted Luffy's request, "You are trespassing without permission. It really makes things difficult for me!"

Qi looked at this scene in confusion. The owner of the house seemed to try to explain, but was interrupted by the man in black.

Luffy looked at the man walking towards them, he could feel the malice emanating from the man, he just didn't understand it, but he still answered his question "We want to borrow a boat."

Luffy was hit by his straightforward rejection and could not help but dejected. Zoro patted him comfortingly.

"You are Usopp, right?" Krahatl looked at Usopp with a sharp look, and said with a malicious smile, "I have heard of you. You are very famous in the town."

"Hehe, thank you..." Usopp said with a confident smile, even though sweat continued to form on his forehead "You can call me Captain Usopp!"

Luffy stopped sulking when he heard the words of the man in black. He looked up at the butler in black who was speaking. He could feel the malice emanating from him, and he disliked this butler even more now.

"The guards said that they often see you here." Krahatel pushed his glasses up with his palm. "Can you tell me why?"

"Ah... well... I saw the legendary mole run in, so..." Usopp explained hurriedly, but suddenly Krahat's sarcastic laughter interrupted his lie.

"You must like lying!" Krahatl sneered, his expression fierce. "I have also heard of your father. I know you are the son of a dirty pirate, so I will not interfere with you no matter what you do, but please stay away from Miss Kaya."

"Pirate?" Luffy muttered in confusion. He suddenly felt that the name Usopp seemed a little familiar.

"Dirty!?" Usopp said angrily.

Krahatel didn't care about what Usopp said. He continued, "You and Ms. Kaya are not from the same world. You approached her just for money. Name your price!"

"Klahat, you said too much. Apologize to Usopp now!" Kaya shouted angrily at Klahat.

"Ms. Kaya, is it necessary to apologize to such a person? He is just a barbarian." Krahatel rejected Kaya's request and continued to provoke, "You must hate your father very much... After all, he is a greedy man who abandoned his family!"

Qi looked at the butler puzzledly, it was very strange, maybe other people might think that the butler did all this just to protect the girl, but he couldn't feel any care or respect from the butler for the mistress.

"Enough!" Usopp could no longer tolerate the butler's insults to his father. He angrily punched the butler in the face with all his strength. "I'm proud that I have a pirate dad! I'm proud that he is a brave pirate warrior!!"

"Look, he's always using violence. Like father, like son!" said Krahatl, covering his beaten cheek.

"Shut up!" Usopp grabbed the butler's collar and wanted to punch him again, but Kaya's voice defending the butler stopped him.

"Get out!" Krahat pulled the collar off Usopp's hand, straightened it and said disdainfully, "Barbarians like you are not welcome here. I'll let you leave this time, and you are not allowed to approach this house again!"

"What's the big deal? I'll leave even if you don't tell me." Usopp said calmly, "I will never come here again."

"You damned steward, the captain is not that kind of person!!"

"That's right! Asshole!"

"Asshole!!" Luffy followed the three children and shouted to the butler, "I'm going to beat you up!"

"Why are you joining in the fun?" Qi pulled the angry Luffy helplessly.

Zoro and Nami held the three emotional children.

"All of you get out of here!" Krahatl shouted, losing his patience.

Luffy pouted angrily at the man, then chased after Usopp in the direction he left.

Odd followed Luffy, he didn't want him to get lost or get in trouble, he always got in all kinds of trouble whenever he didn't follow him, while Nami and Zoro followed the three kids and took them home.

They walked for dozens of minutes and came to a forest, where Usopp was sitting on the edge of a cliff.

Luffy walked towards Usopp and sat with him on the shore, with his legs hanging over the cliff. Oki leaned against a tree and watched Luffy and Usopp's conversation quietly.

"Your father is... Jesus Bu!" Luffy said with a smile.

"Hey!!" Usopp looked at Luffy in surprise and asked in confusion, "How did you know?"

"I saw him when I was a kid." Luffy said with a smile, "He came to my village with Shanks. You look a lot like him."

"Really? Where is he now!" Usopp asked excitedly.

"He must still be on Red Hair Shanks' ship now!" Luffy had a big smile on his face, thinking of the pirates he had met when he was a kid. "He was one of my favorite pirates."

"Red-haired? On the ship of Red-haired Shanks?" Usopp murmured, then reacted and asked in shock, "Red-haired Shanks? Is that Shanks? How do you know him?!"

"Luffy!"

Qi's voice suddenly interrupted Usopp's question.

"What's wrong?" Usopp looked at Qi who was walking towards them in confusion.

"There's someone down there," Qi responded.

"It's that butler." Luffy pointed below the cliff, where the butler was chatting with a strange man.

"Why is the butler here?" Usopp said in surprise, and then pulled Luffy to hide behind the cliff to watch, to prevent the butler from suddenly looking up and discovering them.

"It seems that the butler was a pirate before, Captain Cloe?" Qi said.

"I seem to have heard of this name..." Usopp said with a frown.

They then overhear the butler's plot, which is to attack the village and kill Kaya to plunder her property.

"Oh no, Miss Kaya is in danger!" Usopp said in panic, clenching his hands and pacing back and forth, nervously saying, "We must do something. We can't let them kill Kaya and plunder the village!"

"Hey, you guys..." Luffy was about to stand up and yell at that guy, but Qi covered his mouth and pressed him down, stopping him from shouting.

"Don't be impulsive, Luffy!" Qi hugged Luffy to stop him from rushing out. He didn't let him go until the butler and the weirdo left. "We can't alert the enemy. We need to make a plan."

"Alright." Luffy stopped struggling upon hearing what Qi said, crossing his arms and sitting up from his seat.
