【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

"Then I'll leave it to you!" Harta grinned. He was not worried about the situation, but rather a little excited. Yi Zang stood not far away and watched all this, his eyes constantly scanning the surroundings to prevent other enemies.

It was a huge tiger, almost ten times taller than an ordinary tiger, with two large, sharp fangs and bright orange and black fur that shone in the sun.

"Sachi, what do you think of tiger meat!" Lucci grinned and said as he looked at the huge tiger approaching.

"It's not easy to carry such a big one out." Thatch said excitedly, "But we can take some back, just in time to supplement our meat food."

Lucci was about to fight the tiger, but he noticed that the tiger seemed to hesitate before pouncing on him. Then he saw that the tiger did not attack him, but chose to rush towards Thatch on the side.

"It looks like it's your opponent now, Thatch!" Lucci said with a grin.

"Hey, Lucci!" Thatch easily dodged the claws attacking him and complained dissatisfiedly about Lucci's obvious gloating.

Although they all knew that Thatch could easily deal with the tiger, in order to return to the Moby as soon as possible, Lucci and Harta still helped Thatch to deal with the tiger.

"Now let's see what's here!" Sachi said happily, touching his hair.

Luchi and Sachi walked towards the cave, while Izo and Harta were outside the cave processing the tiger, planning to cut up some of the meat and take it back.

"Why does this look like a place where treasures are stored?" Lucci said with a smile. After passing through the cave, they turned a few corners and came to this large space. There were many boxes scattered inside the cave. Lucci walked to a pile of old boxes and opened one of them. The box was filled with various gold and jewels.

"Hey! Lucci, come and look at this!" Thatch shouted in surprise, "Is this a devil fruit?"

"It looks like it." Lucci looked at the box in Thatch's hand in confusion. Inside was a fruit with a purple spiral pattern on the peel, which looked a bit like a pineapple. Lucci smiled and asked, "Do you want to eat it, Thatch? Maybe you can get some cool abilities!"

Thatch shook his head and said with a smile, "I want to know what kind of devil fruit this is first. I have heard of some weird and useless devil fruit abilities. I don't want to lose my swimming ability for a useless ability."

Lucci nodded to show his understanding. "Moby's library should have relevant information. I'll help you look for it when we get back."

"That's great, Lucci!" Thatch said with a grin, "You know, I'm not very interested in reading."

"We should go out now. We have to hurry back to the Moby Dick." Lucci said with a smile.

Soon they successfully returned to the ship docked at the edge of the island and drove the boat towards Moby. Thatch was tidying up the cabin, while Izo and Harta were driving the boat and controlling the course in the control room. Lucci folded his hands behind his head, leaned on the mast, closed his eyes and quietly enjoyed the sea breeze.

"Goo~"

Lucci opened his eyes and looked in the direction of the sound. A white news bird was standing on the railing in front of him, as if asking him if he wanted to buy a newspaper. He couldn't help but smile when he thought of Ace's recent obsession with newspapers. Then he stuffed the coin into the news bird's package, took the newspaper that the news bird took out of the package, and jumped off the mast.

Lucci found a wine barrel on the front deck, sat down, leaned against the mast, and then opened the newspaper in his hand, wondering if today's newspaper contained what Ace wanted.

He read the newspaper in his hand. The only thing that interested him in the newspaper was a new pirate named 'Straw Hat Luffy' who was stirring up the East China Sea. Lucci frowned and stared at the photo on the bounty notice. He couldn't help but feel that the boy's face looked strangely familiar.

Lucci stared at the boy's grinning expression and rubbed his forehead in pain. He knew what he was thinking. Since a very early age, he always paid special attention when he saw a combative child who liked to grin.

Maybe this was related to something that happened in the first ten years of his life that he had lost. He had searched for the answer many times, but he had never found it. The same was true for this photo. Even though he felt familiar with it, he still couldn't remember it and couldn't find the reason.

"For a novice pirate, 3 million is not bad." Thatch stood behind Lucci, grinning as he looked at the bounty in his hand.

"Hey, Sachi, are you done?" Lucci came back to his senses, looked at Sachi's newly clean white shirt, and teased with a smile.

"Hey! This is all Izo's fault!" Sachi looked at Izo who came out of the cabin sadly.

"You deserve it," Izo responded coldly.

"Hey! Brothers, we're here!" Harta shouted.

Ace looked at the familiar smile on the wanted poster and suddenly screamed in fear, "Luffy!!"

Ace immediately jumped over and grabbed the wanted poster that fell on the ground. Looking at the half wanted poster in his hand, although it was a little blurry, Ace recognized it at a glance. This was his most important younger brother.

Looking at the poster of Luffy grinning broadly brought a similar grin to Ace's face, the teen hadn't changed at all since Ace last saw him three years ago, and he was happy to see his brother again, even if it was on a wanted poster issued by the Navy.

"Hey, Ace?" Marco looked at Ace puzzledly. Ace had been acting panicky since the newspaper appeared, until he saw the wanted poster, his expression started to become strange.

It was just an ordinary wanted poster. What was so special about it that made Ace's reaction so strange?

Marco walked over to Ace and looked down at the paper in his hand. It was a photo. Although it was a little blurry, one could still see a cute boy smiling brightly at the camera. On the photo was written; "Wanted - Dead or Alive - Straw Hat Luffy."

"The boy got 3 million baileys, not bad for a rookie," Marco commented calmly.

Ace suddenly burst into laughter and raised the bounty in his hand.

"Hey! Brothers, look at this!" Ace raised the bounty order in his hand with a proud and bright smile on his face. "This is my little brother! He finally went out to sea as a pirate!!"

"Eh!?"

"Your little brother?"

The Whitebeard pirates all crowded in front of the bounty poster held up by Ace, trying to see the person on the poster clearly, but the paper was half burned by the fire and soaked through, so it was obvious that it couldn't withstand the fire, and the appearance of the pirate in the photo was almost invisible.

"But Ace, the photo is too blurry." One of the Whitebeard pirates couldn't help but ask, "How do you know for sure that this is your brother's wanted warrant?"
