【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

"We must get him out of that dinosaur's stomach as soon as possible!" Zoro gritted his teeth and shouted angrily, then drew out the three swords from his waist.

Qi and Sanji nodded at the same time, then Qi rushed forward first and jumped onto the nearest tree, ready to meet Zoro who was flying over. Just as they were about to act, a huge sword cut off the dinosaur's neck, and the next second Luffy slid out of it with a laugh.

"That's a giant...a giant?!" Nami and Usopp screamed after breathing a sigh of relief. Although they were happy that Luffy was still alive, the sudden appearance of the giant and the fact that he cut off the dinosaur's neck with one knife made them feel terrified.

"Hahaha! What an energetic boy! Do you want to come to my house as a guest?" The giant laughed and looked at Luffy who was sitting on his palm.

"Wow, you're so big! Are you a human?" Luffy stood in the palm of the giant and shouted excitedly.

"Great, that idiot is safe." Qi was relieved when he saw Luffy being rescued.

"That idiot." Zoro looked at Luffy who was laughing with the giant, and put the knife in his hand back into the sheath, but his hand did not leave the handle.

"I wish that idiot would stop scaring us like that," Sanji said as he lit a cigarette.

"Hahahaha, I'm Donli, Elbachev's strongest warrior!" The giant proudly introduced himself to Luffy in his hand.

"Souga, I'm Monkey D. Luffy!" Luffy introduced himself with a bright smile on his face, "I'm also a pirate!"

"Pirates? That's great!" said the giant with a smile.

"Those are my friends over there!" Luffy smiled and pointed at the Straw Hat Pirates standing not far away. Luffy pointed at Chi and the others and said, "That's Chi, Zoro and Sanji."

Qi and Zoro calmly waved at the giant, while Nami, Usopp and Vivi, who were hiding aside, lowered their heads in panic. Usopp panicked and suggested, "I think we should leave here as soon as possible before the giant notices us."

"I agree!" Nami and Vivi said at the same time. Vivi started to run faster, trying to save time and leave here with Nami and the others. However, Luffy's behavior of introducing them to the giant attracted the attention of the giant. Nami and the others burst into tears and yelled at Luffy, "Idiot, don't call our names!"

"Let's go to the Giant's house together!!" Luffy ignored Nami and the others' shouts and said loudly excitedly.

"We can have a picnic!" Sanji suggested. They had just defeated too many beasts when they were chasing the dinosaur that was holding Luffy, and they couldn't move all of them onto the boat, so a picnic would be a good idea.

"Hahaha, I like it!" Dong Li said happily. He hadn't had any guests come here for a long time, and here are so many guests.

"Luffy is a fool, he must have been deceived by the friendliness of the giants." Usopp whispered to Nami and Vivi while slowly biting the meat in his hand, but his mind was not on this delicious meat at all, he just felt that he was going to die.

Nami carefully looked at the people sitting near the giant. Luffy was sitting next to the giant, excitedly biting the meat in his hand while happily chatting with the giant. Nami looked at all this and immediately withdrew her gaze in despair. She agreed with Usopp and said in despair, "You are right, don't they understand why there are those human skulls around the giant?

"I guess the giant wants to fatten us up and then eat us all in one go!" Usopp said with tears in his eyes.

"I know." Nami shed tears silently. "We are still young, maybe this is the best time to eat..."

Qi listened to Usopp and Nami's whispers and couldn't help but laugh at their speculations. Then he looked at the giant who was happily chatting with Luffy and asked, "Mr. Dongli, do you know when the magnetic recording pointer of this island can be recorded?"

Nami glanced at Qi with appreciation, then looked at the giant expectantly.

"One year." Dong Li replied with a smile.

"One year!!?" Everyone looked at Dong Li in shock.

"It doesn't matter, it will be over soon." Dong Li laughed. Just one year is really short for them, the giants.

"What should we do? We can't stay here for a year. I really don't know what Alabasta will be like in a year..." Vivi murmured in despair.

"Is there any better way? Uncle Dongli." Luffy asked, "We will get bored if we stay for a year."

"There is a permanent pointer to Elbaf, but you don't want to go there," Dongli said with a smile.

"That's not where we're going, we just want to go to the next island." Luffy said.

"Hahaha, in that case, you better try to keep moving forward. If you're lucky, you might be able to reach your destination directly." Uncle Dongli laughed.
