【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

Lu Qi walked into a pub, walked through the tables and chairs in the middle and walked to the counter. He greeted the bartender and ordered some food.

The bartender motioned for him to wait a moment.

He leaned against the bar, quietly observing the people around him and listening to the various conversations coming out of the pub.

"Do you believe it?" a drunken voice rang out.

"It's true. I heard from a friend of mine that the revolutionary army is hiding in this city, and they plan to take action tomorrow night." The drunk man looked around carefully and spoke softly.

"How do you know?" the man responded in surprise.

"My friend works in the prison. The king has caught a traitor who has provided the king with the plan of the revolutionary army. I heard that the guards have already set an ambush for them."

Lucci listened quietly in the back, wanting to know more information, but they didn't seem to have more information he wanted to know. He pondered over what to do, and finally decided to sneak into the palace and wait and see.

Sabo looked at the hanging boy, the scene made him breathless, and a picture seemed to appear in front of him, in which a smaller black-haired boy was also hanging in the air with injuries all over his body. He hurried forward to rescue the boy.

"Bang! Bang!"

Sabo instantly turned around to look in the direction of the sound, only to see huge flames coming out of the passage he had just walked through, and continuous explosions. He was trapped. Was this set up specially for him? Sabo looked around, looking for a way to leave. The flames were getting closer and closer to them.

He stared at the wall behind him, behind which was a room. Sabo found a small corner to avoid the soldiers who were chasing him. He calmed his breathing, put his hand on the boy and checked his injuries.

After several rounds of fighting, Lucci and Sabo retreated and stared at each other. Sabo broke the silence between the two and asked coldly, "Who are you?"

"Hello, my name is Lucci, I mean no harm." Lucci knew that the person on the other side had calmed down, so he put the knife back and waved his hand to indicate to the person on the other side that he posed no threat.

"You are not the king's man?" Sabo's eyes flashed. The name sounded familiar. This person was very powerful. If he was an enemy, it would be a variable in their plan.

"No, are you from the Revolutionary Army?" Lucci looked at the person opposite him and asked, "I have something I want to ask the leader of the Revolutionary Army."

"I don't know the leader of the Revolutionary Army. Why are you looking for me?" Sabo looked at him warily. This man was very powerful. If he was an enemy, he would become a variable in their plan.

Lucci felt a little annoyed as he looked at the increasingly vigilant expression on the other side. It seemed that he should not have directly stated his purpose, but he inexplicably felt that the person on the other side could be trusted. He thought that he might need to change his plan.
