【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

A new day has begun. Usopp crossed his arms and looked up proudly in the direction of the village. I will bring new vitality to this boring village!

"Not good!"

A panicked voice rang out on the road to Xiluobu Village, "Everyone, it's bad! Pirates have entered the village! Everyone, run for your lives!"

"What!? Pirates!?" As the voice rang out, the villagers opened their doors or windows and looked at the person who made the sound.

"Hey! Usopp is screaming again. It's about time for us to get to work!" said the villager with a smile.

"That guy doesn't feel bored and comes here every day." Some villagers said with a smile as they looked at the boy shouting outside the window.

"I was kidding! Wahahaha!" Usopp said with a laugh after running through the village.

"You liar! I must teach you a lesson today!"

The villagers pretended to be angry and cursed at the boy outside.

"Okay! Come on, come on!" Usopp challenged the villagers, then turned and ran away.

"Brat! Stop right there!" Some of the hot-tempered villagers shouted and chased after Usopp.

"Hahaha, come chase me!!" Usopp laughed.

"Damn it! He ran away again!" the villagers said angrily, then turned and walked towards the village, ready to start a day's work.

"Hehehe, the whole village was fooled by me again today." Usopp chuckled while hiding in the tree.

"Good morning! Captain Usopp!" Two little boys stood under the tree, holding up wooden daggers, and shouted at Usopp on the tree.

"You're here!" Usopp looked at the two boys under the tree happily, and then jumped down. One of them wore a skull hat, and the other wore a T-shirt with a skull logo. Usopp looked at the two of them and realized that there was one boy missing. He asked in confusion, "Green pepper, carrot, are you two the only ones? Where's onion?"

“Maybe he’s still sleeping!”

"Hmm, maybe."

The two nodded and spoke seriously.

"Captain! It's bad! Pirates are coming!"

Just as the three of them were looking at each other, a panicked shout was suddenly heard.

Usopp looked in the direction of the voice. It was the last member of their team, the Onion they had just talked about. Seeing his panic, Usopp said he was very familiar with it. After all, he played this scene every day in the village, so he said in unison with Green Pepper and Carrot, "You must be kidding."

"It's true!" Onionhead shouted, looking anxious, recalling the ship he had just seen on the hillside. "The flag on that ship seems to be the logo of Buggy the Clown!"

"Bage the Clown!?" Usopp shouted in disbelief, "Is it the Buggy the Clown with a bounty of 1600 million Beli?!"

"Yes, that's it!! It's exactly the same logo as the one on the bounty warrant we saw before!" Onionhead said excitedly.

"Ah! I suddenly remembered that it's time for snack!" Usopp suddenly said seriously, then turned around and wanted to run towards the village, but was stopped by Onionhead and the others.

"Captain! Don't you want to be a real pirate?"

"How can a pirate be afraid of a pirate?"

"That's right! And there are only three pirates in this group!!"

"What!? Three people?" Usopp turned back in surprise, puzzled, "Aren't they a big ship?"

"No, it's a small boat." Onionhead said seriously.

After Usopp confirmed that what Onionhead said was true, he laughed and said with a firm tone, "Okay! Usopp Pirates, move out! Let's protect the peace of the village!!"

"Yes!!"

"Huh! We finally reached land!" Zoro stretched his arms and yawned, "It feels like I haven't stepped on the ground for a long time."

"Maybe it's because you've been sleeping." Qi said with a smile.

Luffy touched the hat on his head and looked around excitedly.

"Luffy, there are people here." Qi glanced in the direction of the forest. There was a boy with three little boys hiding in the grass, but they posed no threat to them, so he ignored them.

"Yeah, I felt something was a little strange from the beginning..." Zoro agreed.

"Who are those guys?" Luffy also saw it, and he looked up towards the bushes.

"Wow! We've been discovered!" Onionhead and the other three screamed, then quickly fled into the forest.

"Hey! You guys!! Don't run!" Usopp shouted in shock, and then thought that he was the only one left to face the pirates. Cold sweat broke out on his face. He turned his head stiffly to look at the four pirates standing behind him. Looking at the boy with a childish face standing in the front, a trace of courage suddenly rose in his heart, and he said confidently, "I am Usopp! People call me the great Captain Usopp, and I am also the ruler of this village!"

He looked at the four people standing in front of him, and noticed that there were two people behind that guy who looked difficult to deal with. Usopp swallowed nervously, trying his best to maintain the confidence on his face, but his shaking legs exposed his nervousness. "I advise you to give up this village! Otherwise, my 8000 million subordinates will not stand idly by!"

"Bullshit!" Nami exposed the lie of the long-nosed boy in front of her without hesitation.

"Ah! Exposed!" Usopp shouted in panic.

"See, this guy admitted it." Nami said with a mischievous smile.

"Damn it, I confessed it myself!" Usopp said to himself in annoyance.

"Hahaha! You're so funny!" Luffy couldn't control himself anymore and laughed at Usopp's funny actions.

Qi and Zoro couldn't help but laugh as they looked at Usopp with amusement.

"Hey! How dare you make fun of me!!" Usopp yelled at the boy. "I am a man with dignity, and everyone calls me the proud Usopp!"

Usopp looked at the other two smiling men, although he wanted to yell at them, they looked too scary, he would not want to do that, especially the green-haired man, who had three knives on his back. Usopp swallowed nervously, it was even more impossible for him to yell at him, he did not want to die yet, he still had to protect the village, he could not let the pirates do whatever they wanted to his village.

Luffy felt the uneasiness coming from Long Nose, so he smiled and said, "Don't worry, we won't rob the village."

"I won't believe you, Buggy Pirate!" Usopp said defensively.

"What?" Nami asked in confusion.

Qi understood what he meant. He turned around and glanced at the flag of the Buggy Pirates on the ship that they forgot to take down. He shrugged and said to the long-nosed boy, "Don't worry. The Buggy Pirates have been defeated by Luffy. This is the ship we borrowed."

"Him?!" Usopp asked in shock, but when he saw the other two nodding, he had to believe it, then he realized that they might not be pirates, so he asked expectantly, "So, you're not pirates, right?"

"No, we're pirates," Luffy said bluntly, then grinned, "But we just wanted to eat some meat in town!"

"And wine," Zoro added.

"There is another ship." Qi said with a smile.

"That's right, first we need a boat!" Nami looked at Qi with tears in his eyes. Finally, she had a reliable teammate. She turned around and looked angrily at the two guys who were asking for meat and wine. How could those two fools forget that they were here to find a boat!

"Nami, food~" Luffy drew out his voice, opening his pure black eyes and unconsciously acting coquettishly towards Nami.

Nami looked at those pure black eyes and compromised, "Yes, let's eat first." Nami covered her face and said helplessly. She couldn't refuse those eyes looking at her.

"Great! Meat!!" Luffy cheered and rushed towards the town with Usopp. He smelled the delicious meat.

Nami and Zoro ran quickly following Luffy and Usopp in front of them, while Qi walked slowly behind them. He believed that with Nami and Zoro around, Luffy would be fine.

Usopp was dragged to the town. He couldn't understand what happened today. First, he found out that Buggy the Pirate had come to the town. Then he knew that the boy had defeated Buggy the Clown. Now he was dragged to a restaurant in the town by the boy. Isn't this a normal day? Why did so many strange things happen? Usopp cried in his heart with tears in his eyes.
