Omori believed that the emphasis on prototypes in the second season had reached its limit, and he did not want the prototypes to lead the story, so he decided to abandon the concept of prototypes in the design of this work.

In addition, although the knight's design in this work has some similarities with the elements of "W", even the producer of "W" Hideaki Tsukada personally asked Omori whether he borrowed from "W", but Omori himself said that he did not care too much about this.

When Shogo Muto was watching Kamen Rider with his children, he was amazed at the production of current knight works. He went to find previous Heisei knight works to watch, and came up with the idea of ​​participating in the script writing of knight works.

Omori's original candidate for the scriptwriter was Shogo Muto, but he thought that Muto, who originally wrote the prime-time series, was unlikely to accept the invitation to be the scriptwriter for Kamen Rider.

However, Chihiro Inoue of Asahi TV, who was also a producer, recommended Muto to Omori and expressed Muto's desire to write Kamen Rider, so Muto was chosen as the main scriptwriter for this work.

The auditions for this work adopted the usual staggered audition method. For example, Inukai and Akasato both auditioned for the role of Battle Rabbit, but they also needed to play Ryuga, who played opposite Battle Rabbit.

However, because the setting was not yet complete at that time, the personality of the War Rabbit during the audition was very different from the actual one.

After the audition, Inukai took into consideration the possibility of playing the leading role, so he took a special motorcycle license. However, for safety reasons, all the scenes in which Inukai rode in the drama were pulled by a rope, so his license was completely useless.

Akachu had appeared in Amazons S2 before, so she was worried that she would not be selected. When she actually auditioned, she originally applied for the role of Battle Rabbit, but she found that Ryuga was more suitable for her during the audition.

Inukai and Akaso were both fans of Kamen Rider when they were young. Inukai's favorite work was "Kamen Rider Kabuto", while Akaso's favorite work was "Kamen Rider Kuuga".
