Rongrong

Chapter 93: Cloud Feather Snow 5

Chen Rong curled her lips and smiled when she heard it, not taking it to heart. She sat on the sofa with Xue Chongzi, took out some fruit and ate while watching TV series.

In the end, the result of the dispute among the palaces was that no one dared to capture Chen Rong, for fear that they would not be able to defeat Chen Rong and the gain would not outweigh the loss.

They thought that since Chen Rong lived in the Snow Palace and had not attacked the palace gate, with Xue Chongzi watching over her, nothing serious should happen.

Chen Rong is now living in the Snow Palace and has found a bright future. She spends the whole day eating, drinking and watching TV with Xue Chongzi.

After more than half a year of getting along, there is a little ambiguity in the relationship between Chen Rong and Xue Chongzi.

The two of them would have some close contact from time to time, and of course it was intentional on Chen Rong's part, as she would often trip into Xue Chongzi's arms.

Xue Chongzi, this innocent boy, would blush every time, and Chen Rong would cover her face and laugh secretly when she saw this.

Xue Chongzi also got used to contacting Chen Rong from time to time, and also developed different thoughts about Chen Rong.

Sometimes when I see that there is no chance to interact with Chen Rong, I will create some opportunities to have close contact with Chen Rong.

Chen Rong enjoyed Xue Chongzi's occasional ambiguous contact, but she hadn't yet broken the window paper.

Time flies, and one and a half months have passed.

That day was the Lantern Festival. In the evening, Chen Rong took Xue Chongzi to have dinner and sat on the sofa to watch TV series.

Chen Rong tilted her head and smiled and asked, "Hey, Xue Chongzi, today is the Lantern Festival. Do you want to go to the market to see the lanterns?"

Xue Chongzi said sadly, "I can't leave the Snow Palace. Rongrong, you have all kinds of good things, and you can live well wherever you go. Do you think it's boring to stay in the Snow Palace and want to leave?"

Hearing this, Chen Rong reached out and patted Xue Zhongzi on the head and said, "With a cell phone, I can stay here forever. How can it be boring? Even without a cell phone, I am willing to stay here with you forever."

When Xue Chongzi heard this, a blush appeared on her face, and she raised the corners of her lips to reveal a smile, her eyes sparkling.

Xue Zhongzi: "Rongrong, you are so kind, thank you."

Chen Rong smiled and said, "Of course. I just thought that today is the Lantern Festival, so I wanted to take you to see the lanterns. Don't worry, it will be quick and no one will notice."

Xue Zhongzi hesitated when he heard this: "What if someone comes to find me?"

Chen Rong: "Don't worry, I will know if someone comes, and then I will bring you back immediately to ensure that no one else will find you."

Xue Zhongzi smiled happily when she heard this: "Okay, let's go see the lanterns."

Upon hearing this, Chen Rong said "hmm" and cast a spell in the Snow Palace so that if anyone came, Chen Rong would find out.

Chen Rong took out two fox masks, handed one to Xue Chongzi, and put the remaining one on her face.

Seeing Xue Zhongzi looking at the mask, not knowing what he was thinking, Chen Rong took the mask and put it on his face.

Chen Rong: "Xue Zhongzi, you are so beautiful. It's cold outside, go get a cloak and put it on."

Upon hearing this, Xue Chongzi nodded obediently, then stood up, went to the room to get the cloak and put it on.

Today Chen Rong wore a red silk dress and took out a large red furry cloak from the space and put it on.

When Xue Zhongzi came out, Chen Rong stepped forward, held Xue Zhongzi's hand and said, "Xue Zhongzi, close your eyes. We are about to set off."

Seeing that Xue Chongzi closed his eyes obediently, Chen Rong took him and teleported to the small town at the foot of the Jiuchen Valley.

The town was filled with all kinds of lanterns and was bustling with people.

Chen Rong appeared in a dark and remote corner holding Xue Chongzi's hand.

Chen Rong looked at Xue Zhongzi who had his eyes closed in the darkness and said, "Xue Zhongzi, we're here. You can open your eyes now."

Xue Chongzi opened her eyes upon hearing this and saw the streets in the distance filled with all kinds of lanterns.

"Rongrong, this is the outside world." Xue Chongzi said excitedly, pointing at the street.

After Xue Chongzi finished speaking, he turned his head to look at Chen Rong, and the two looked at each other in the dark.

Chen Rong smiled and said, "Yes, let's go for a walk."

After Chen Rong finished speaking, she pulled Xue Chongzi toward the busy streets, which were filled with all kinds of small stalls.

It was Xue Chongzi's first time out, and he excitedly dragged Chen Rong for a walk around the street, his eyes dazzled by the sights.

Although I have seen Yuki Shigeko in TV dramas, the feeling is different when I see her in real life.

Xue Chongzi took Chen Rong for a long walk and then came to a stall.

Seeing this, the boss smiled and said, "Would you two like to guess the lantern riddles?"

Chen Rong also smiled and replied: "Boss, let's take a look first."

Chen Rong then asked Xue Zhongzi: "Xue Zhongzi, which lantern do you like?"

Xue Zhongzi pointed to a boneless lantern and said, "This one looks very delicate and beautiful."

The boss said with a smile: "Sir, you have a good eye. This boneless lantern is the king of lanterns in this stall."

Chen Rong also smiled and asked: "Boss, how much is this lantern?"

The boss waved his hand and said, "Girl, this lantern is not for sale. I need you to guess the riddle. If you guess the answer correctly, you can take it away."

Chen Rong: "Then boss, you can set the questions."

The boss smiled and said: "Okay, listen carefully, girl. The riddle is: a little girl, born in the middle of the water, wearing a pink shirt, sitting on a green boat. Guess a plant."

Chen Rong thought for a moment and said, "It's the lotus."

"Miss, you guessed right. This lantern is yours." The boss said with a smile, then took down the lantern and handed it to Chen Rong.

Chen Rong took the lantern and thanked him: "Thank you, boss."

Chen Rong then said to Xue Chongzi: "Xue Chongzi, this is for you." Then Chen Rong stuffed the lantern into Xue Chongzi's hand.

Xue Zhongzi smiled and said, "Thank you, Rongrong, for giving me the lantern. I like it very much."

"You're welcome. Come on, let's go buy some snacks and find a place to watch the fireworks later." Chen Rong said as she took Xue Chongzi's arm.

"Okay," Xue Chongzi replied, and the two of them went shopping together and bought some cakes and a bag of freshly baked sugar-roasted chestnuts.

Chen Rong handed all the things to Xue Zhongzi, took the lantern and said, "Xue Zhongzi, it's almost time, let's go."

Xue Zhongzi nodded when she saw this: "Okay, but where are we going to watch the fireworks?"

"Just follow me," Chen Rong said, reaching out and grabbing Xue Chongzi's wrist, leading him to a dark and deserted alley.

Then Chen Rong pulled Xue Chongzi and teleported to an uninhabited flat ground on the top of the mountain. There was a cliff next to it and no one came here.

Chen Rong then took out a sofa and a table and set them up, then asked Xue Chongzi to put everything on the table.

As soon as Xue Chongzi sat down, fireworks sounded in the sky.

Chen Rong smiled faintly: "Xue Chongzi, look, the timing is just right. We just sat down and the fireworks were set off. It was really beautiful."

Xue Zhongzi also smiled and looked at Chen Rong and said: "It is very beautiful."

Chen Rong nodded, then took out two cups of hot milk tea and placed them on the table. She opened the oil paper and took out the cakes she had bought and started eating.

Seeing that Xue Zhongzi didn't eat it, Chen Rong picked up a piece and fed it to him.
