The Witcher: Son of the Planes.

Chapter 35 Colin's Transformation

Giant Wood Village - Pugna's Residence

Pugna discovered a "treasure", John was actually a professional. Although he was only a low-level knight attendant during his lifetime, he believed that through his transformation, he would be able to improve to a mid-level strength. In his more than 50 years of career, it was rare for him to have the opportunity to obtain such a complete corpse of a professional.

John was placed in a barrel of prepared medicine. After soaking for three days, the transformation was completed after magic was cast.

……

Three days later, John stood up. In his hazy consciousness, he heard only one voice and obeyed the orders of the person in front of him.

Pugna was very satisfied when he saw his masterpiece.

After living there for a few days, Pugna has gained a basic understanding of the forest next to the village. The people on the outskirts of the forest are basically ordinary people, while there may be some high-level monsters in the depths.

The completion of John's production gave Pugna more ideas. He wanted to walk deep into the forest to see what he could gain. Rose's slow learning progress made Pugna not want to bring her along this time.

The small animals in the forest have a much better awareness of danger than humans, and they avoided Pugna and John from afar.

Soon, Pugna crossed the small lake in the forest and walked deeper into the forest.

……

"Miss, we can't go any further. This small lake is the boundary. Let's go back." Nora advised.

"Why are you in such a hurry? It's not dark yet," Helen replied.

She didn't know what was wrong with her today, but she insisted on going deep into the forest. She was a little bored with the forest exploration games she had played a few days ago. There were no ferocious animals outside the forest, so she had to see the legendary Warcraft today.

Seeing that she couldn't persuade Helen, Nora had to stay with her.

……

"Sir, do you want to stop the young lady?" asked the guard.

"It's okay for now. Let's see the situation later. If it goes too deep, it won't be too late to stop it." Knight Gavin said.

……

Colin completed his training mission quite early today. Lord Joshua did not rush back with them. Instead, they shot some pheasants, washed them by the lake, set up a wooden rack, and roasted the chicken.

Colin's strength is growing quite fast. In the scout team, except for Lord Joshua, he already has the strength to be the best. It's just that he joined the team late and is not very old, otherwise he would have been appointed as the deputy captain. Colin gets along well with his teammates in the scout team.

……

Emerald Forest - Deep

The wyvern Charles has been a little irritated lately. Half a year ago, a group of people came to the island and kept invading his territory. The main reason was that one of them seemed to be as strong as himself. He had been hesitating whether to leave the island or fight with that person.

It knew that humans were the rulers of this world, and all the magic beasts only existed in some remote areas. In the farther south, there might be first-level magic beasts, which might not be invaded by humans. But over the years, it had only grown to the strength equivalent to that of a high-level knight's attendant.

The island was not small in size and had no other natural enemies. Charles had the monsters and animals in the forest to himself to enjoy, so he actually didn't want to leave.

Seeing that it was getting dark, Charles walked around and scared the animals so much that they dared not move.

Well, it is so easy for Lord Charles to have dinner. He was full soon and felt sleepy when he was full. Besides, dragon-like monsters also have the instinct of dragons - they love to sleep.

Soon, Charles fell asleep in his cave.

……

"Hmm? There is the breath of high-level magical beasts here." Pugna thought as he felt the fluctuations of magic power around him.

Pugna carefully took out the bone staff and directed John to continue exploring forward.

Soon, Pugna found Charles's residence.

Looking at the cave above, Pugna was speechless. It seemed to be a flying creature.

Pugna began to cast magic. He first cast a protective spell on himself, and then summoned a group of skeleton creatures. Maybe because they were in the forest, there were actually two flying skeleton creatures. This made things easier, and the task of attracting monsters was solved.

……

Charles' sweet dream was interrupted. He looked at the two skeleton creatures in confusion. After a burst of acid breath, the two skeleton creatures were directly destroyed, but soon he felt a strong magical fluctuation outside the cave.

"Who dares to disturb Lord Charles' sweet dream?" Charles flew out of the cave.

"So it's you, the reptile."

Pugna didn't understand what Charles said. He only heard the roar of this dragon creature, which didn't seem to have good intentions.

Pugna's fighting style hasn't changed much, it's still the same as it was in the secret realm, the skeleton creature moves forward, adds protection to itself, and then releases attack spells.

But there is one difference, today's opponent can fly...

Pugna was a little depressed. If he was promoted to the next level, he could also summon some alien creatures. While directing John to resist, he released the physical spell bone spear.

Charles's identity as a dragon gave him good magic resistance, and some necromancy spells did not cause much damage to him. Only the bone spear piercing his body was a bit painful, and the tireless attacks of the little reptile (John) below were also a bit annoying.

Those skeleton creatures in the distance couldn't even touch a hair of his. John blocked Pugna's attacks several times. It seemed that he needed to deal with the annoying creature below first.

Charles was ready to use acid breath. Physical attacks were not very meaningful against the annoying creature below and would not be effective in the short term.

Although he couldn't cast it instantly, his talent in dragon language magic allowed him to prepare it in a very short time, but before he could release it, he was interrupted.

Unfortunately, his opponent Pugna was also very experienced in fighting and released bone spears even faster, sending one of them directly into his mouth.

"Ouch..." Charles cried in pain.

Before he could pull out the bone spear, John rushed up and beat Charles violently.

Charles retreated and parried at the same time, and soon he seized the opportunity to counterattack. After all, his teeth and claws were not given for nothing. John was also seriously injured by Charles' counterattack. Charles took the opportunity to pull out the bone spear from his mouth.

Before he could expand his victory, another bone spear stabbed at him, this time hitting Charles' lower abdomen. In an instant, Charles bled profusely and screamed in pain.

This time, Charles didn't dare to move forward anymore. He flapped his wings and flew to a high branch.

Pugna was also struggling, his magic power was being consumed quickly, and when he saw Charles flying high, he stopped.

Today's battle tested out new results. Pugna was quite satisfied. He commanded the skeleton creatures to collect the dragon blood on the ground. He didn't want to fight anymore and prepared to retreat.

Charles looked at Pugna on the ground and picked up his blood. He was seriously injured today and had no intention of fighting back. He just waited for Pugna to retreat before making other plans.

Soon, Pugna harvested several bags of dragon blood and then retreated cautiously.

Only after seeing Pugna disappear did Charles pull out the bone spear from his abdomen.

"hiss……"

The wounds in the mouth and abdomen were not fatal, but even with the powerful vitality of the dragon clan, it would be difficult to recover in a short period of time. Charles knew that there were other strong people outside the forest. If he was not careful, this would be his grave.

"I can't stay here anymore," Charles thought.
