Chapter 57 Academy Mission 2

Seeing the red-eyed ravens chasing Marcus away, Colin and three other teammates quickly ran to the red raspberries to pick them.

Soon, the four collected the required amount for the mission, but seeing that Marcus did not come back and the red-eyed raven did not fly back, the four did not withdraw and continued to pick red raspberries.

Apart from this mission, whoever picks the fruits first owns them, and they can definitely exchange them for some money when the time comes, so the four of them tacitly agreed not to leave.

Marcus, who made the sacrifice, was not a fool. He knew that the picking task was not difficult. After getting away from those red-eyed ravens, he made a detour and arrived here.

Seeing Marcus coming back and no Red-Eyed Raven following behind, the few of them looked at each other and continued picking.

Seeing the expressions of several people, Marcus knew that the mission had been accomplished. Now it was time to rob the money. Without saying much, he started to take action.

The good times didn’t last long. Marcus hadn’t been collecting for long when he heard the caw of a red-eyed raven in the distance.

I should have lost Marcus, so I thought it was more important to come back and peck at the red raspberries.

Marcus saw the situation and knew he couldn't go on, so he said "Let's go".

He took the lead in running out of the forest, and several people stopped moving and followed Marcus's pace.

Three hours later, the five people came out of the forest and stopped when they were out of danger.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please share the money needed for the mission." Marcus spoke first.

After Colin hesitated for a few seconds, he gave up some red raspberries. These things were not worth much, and he thought they might have more dealings in the future, so he was the first to respond to Marcus's words.

Seeing Colin give up some of the red raspberries, the remaining people looked at each other and gave up some as well.

Seeing that the four people were so sensible, Marcus felt proud in his heart. I can't let you guys do this in vain. Besides, if you guys are really not sensible, I will have plenty of opportunities to deal with you in the future.

Marcus always thought that he was the captain and the strongest, but he didn't know that if Colin hadn't thought far ahead, he would have been badly beaten.

After the division of the spoils, the five people quickly returned to the academy's mission hall, submitted their tasks, and each received 5 merit points.

Without further ado, the three men left, and when Marcus saw that Colin was the first one to respond to him, he changed his mind. The three friends he got along well with at the beginning were not as good as this one who ignored him, so he also wanted to make friends with him.

Leave me your contact information, maybe we can work on tasks together in the future.

Colin didn't leave because he had this in mind. After all, being able to take the initiative to lead the monster away is a sign of responsibility, and such a person can still be made friends.

The two took out their crystal balls, exchanged marks, and then separated.

When Colin returned to his residence, he found that Helen had already arrived home and was preparing some dinner.

After a simple dinner, Colin and Helen told each other about the mission.

The mission itself is not very dangerous, but this kind of temporary team is sometimes unreliable. Although all private fights are strictly prohibited within the academy, when it comes to interests, if a few wizard apprentices die in places where the academy cannot see them, the academy may not necessarily care.

I looked at the study notes Helen made. They were very detailed. I guess they were because of the classes Colin missed.

Helen also planned to accompany Colin to complete the task, but Colin refused. At this stage, he had to ensure that he studied alone. Although the open class was the most basic course, it would be difficult to catch up if he was delayed.

Some classes are only taught once a year, and if you want to take them again you have to wait until next year. Colin would never agree to such a loss. Besides, as a man, he must take the responsibility he should.

Seeing that Colin seemed to have found a new "way", Helen was also a little moved and took the initiative to pester Colin. This was the first time in nearly a year.

Colin had already "scanned" Helen's physical values. Her mental strength had already exceeded 10, but she was far inferior to him in other aspects.

Under Colin's continued "attack", Helen soon collapsed into the mud.

Seeing Helen's seductive look, Colin became even more excited...

Feeling Colin's acceleration, Helen interrupted Colin and said, "You still have classes tomorrow and missions to go on, so save your energy."

Colin didn't have enough fun, but he really should stop now.

……

Coming to the mission hall again, Colin unexpectedly met Conrad and Connie.

The three of them quickly found a quiet place to talk.

"Colin, why are you here too?" Connie asked happily.

"Connie, why are you here?" Colin asked.

Connie and Colin asked at the same time.

When they were in the Victoria's Secret world, they teamed up to do many mercenary missions together. Connie was very happy to meet them again at Griman College.

"I came here to learn witchcraft with my brother," said Connie.

Colin was also very happy. It was not easy to meet someone he knew at Griman College, and an acquaintance with whom he had a good relationship.

"I'm here to learn witchcraft, too. You also know that our Victoria's Secret world has been integrated into the wizarding world."

"Well, I was shocked at first. I thought the sky was falling."

"Where's Sean?"

"...Sean was blown up into the sky by the wind and was never seen again. We tried to find him. We went to his hometown and many places he had been to, but we couldn't find him." Conrad said in a low voice.

Colin also felt that life was unpredictable, but not seeing the body was perhaps the best news.

"When did you come?" Colin asked.

"We got through it once we integrated into this world. It wasn't easy. We finally managed to scrape together enough money to enter the academy."

"Yeah, everything here costs money, and we are the ones without money."

"Are you here on a mission too?"

"Yeah, I just completed a task with someone else yesterday."

"Well, how about we go together?"

"Okay, let's go together."

Compared to cooperating with Marcus and others, Colin would rather work with Connie and her brother. At least he doesn't have to worry about being stabbed in the back.

After careful selection by the three of them, they finally chose a mission to go to Yunwu Town to kill the Cloud Pattern Demon Rabbit.

The Cloud Patterned Magic Rabbit is just a low-level magical beast. It is not difficult for the villagers in the town to kill this creature. The difficult part is that this magic rabbit is too fertile. If there is enough food, a pair of magic rabbits can give birth to nearly 50 baby rabbits a year.

The villagers were suffering terribly; all the crops outside the town had been eaten up by rabbits.

The round trip for this mission will take two days, so the fastest way to complete the mission is three days.

After leaving a message with Helen, Colin and Connie rushed to Cloud Town together.
