Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 107: Shocked Lupin and Still Unhappy Snape

"Is my head there?"

Ron's hurried voice came, and Harry opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was that in the carriage that had regained light, Ron was groping his head up and down. There were two dried blood stains under his nose, and he looked extremely embarrassed.

Opposite them was Hermione who had slowly woken up, and Dudley and Lupin who were standing side by side outside the sliding door of the compartment.

"Give."

There was a large piece of chocolate in Lupin's hand. He broke the chocolates one by one and gave one piece to each of the little ones who had just woken up. The piece in Harry's hand was particularly large.

"Eat it, it will help."

Harry glanced at Dudley, and when his cousin nodded first, he took the chocolate and started eating it.

"Cousin, what is that thing?"

Dudley shrugged and pointed at Professor Lupin.

“This should be explained by professionals.”

"Dementors. Dementors of Azkaban."

As Lupin distributed the chocolates, he crumpled up the wrapper and stuffed it into his pocket.

"Oh."

Harry and the other two, along with the countless heads popping out in the corridor, all exclaimed in unison.

This is something most people have never heard of!

When Ron, who was still sober, told Harry what happened, Harry's eyes widened in shock.

Lupin smiled. He knew the existence of Dementors, which were indeed extremely rare for these underage wizards.

"Cousin, is there anything you can't defeat with one punch?"

As soon as Harry opened his mouth, Lupin froze.

You're surprised by this?

How much you admire this Dudley!

Thinking of this, Lupin couldn't help but turn his head to look at Dudley, only to see the tall man touching the back of his head with an embarrassed look on his face.

"There are specialties in the arts."

His tone was very calm, but Lupin couldn't contain his shock for a long time.

You have to know that Dementors are naturally emotionless. Wherever they appear, the surrounding light and warmth will be absorbed, gradually turning into darkness and coldness, and even the courage and hope in people's hearts will disappear.

Not to mention, these guys have an extremely keen sense of smell and a strong perception of wizards' emotions. Although they are blind, it does not prevent them from hunting down criminals.

Those who are constantly "sucked" by Dementors will actually have their souls drained and die.

And this "teenager" in front of him, who looked more like a boxer than a wizard, was not only not afraid, but was able to punch the Dementors?

Dementors are not like their ghostly appearance, they are real entities!

In other words, if there was enough time, Dudley could really smash him to death!

Besides, what did Harry just say?

“No one punch defeated”?

What a magnificent record it must be to make even Harry Potter sigh in admiration!

After calming himself down, Lupin forced a smile.

"I'll go talk to the driver."

Then came the greetings from classmates. Neville, Ginny and others all came to this carriage in a hurry. Although Ginny herself was scared to death and trembling all over, she still comforted Harry with a few words.

“I feel like I can never be happy again.”

Ron chewed some chocolate and slumped down in his seat, a little shivering.

"That's strange. I haven't seen any records of these creatures in books."

Miss Granger looked fine, she did not tremble like the others, but she subconsciously grabbed the hem of Dudley's robe.

Dudley smiled and said nothing, but sat back in his seat and held Hermione's cold hand.

"It will be there in ten minutes."

After a while, Lupin came back from the other end of the carriage and announced the good news. Soon, the train started again and drove towards Hogwarts in the night outside the window.

There was no conversation along the way. They got on the horseless carriage and headed towards the Hogwarts castle. It was just a pity for the first-year students because they had to take a boat in the heavy rain.

When they arrived at the door, the carriage stopped. Malfoy was about to laugh at Harry, but when he saw Dudley with a serious face beside him, he swallowed the sarcasm and walked away in shame.

Harry and Ron suddenly felt as if they were happy again.

It was one of the few pleasures to see Malfoy get humiliated.

Of course, Harry was immediately summoned to Professor McGonagall's office - along with Madam Pomfrey, the school nurse.

"Sending Dementors around the school, these people in the Ministry of Magic are really becoming more and more anthropomorphic."

Madam Pomfrey muttered, touching Harry's forehead and sighing with relief.

"Nothing, just eat more chocolate."

"In fact, Professor Lupin has given us some on the bus."

Ron looked very funny with two strips of toilet paper stuffed in his nose.

"is it?"

Madam Pomfrey looked pleased.

"At least we finally have a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher who knows how to treat the problem."

Professor McGonagall was relieved to know that Harry was fine. She waved her hand and signaled the three people to leave first.

"Please wait outside for a moment while I speak to Miss Granger about her class schedule."

Harry and Ron left, confused. Hermione looked reluctant and glanced at Dudley. Dudley smiled and then pushed the door and left.

There was a hint of gossip in the eyes of Professor McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey.

Without delaying for too long, the four of them arrived at the Great Hall. It was a grand feast as usual, with rows of gold cups and silver plates piled high with traditional Hogwarts opening banquet delicacies - of course, some of them were recipes that Dudley had helped to improve, and even the senior students couldn't help but swallow their saliva.

"Welcome! Welcome back to Hogwarts!"

Dumbledore announced that Dementors would serve as school guards, and also announced the arrival of two new teachers.

Of course, only when the teacher of the "Defense Against the Dark Arts Class" was announced did Snape's usually unhappy face become even gloomier, and the muscles on his face twitched as if he wanted to eat Professor Lupin alive.

"It's just hatred."

Ron grunted, his mouth full of meat, and the Chicken King returned to his faithful canteen once again.

Although the applause welcoming Lupin was sparse, when Dumbledore announced that Hagrid would take over as the teacher of the "Care of Magical Creatures" class, the whole school burst into warm applause, especially the Gryffindor table.

Hagrid blinked and couldn't help wanting to cry. He subconsciously looked at the four figures sitting together in the Gryffindor seats.

If it weren't for them, my guilt might never be cleared in my lifetime.

For him, being able to be a teacher at Hogwarts was even more important than becoming a qualified wizard himself.

"Congratulations, Hagrid!"

Dudley suddenly raised the golden cup, stood up from his seat, and cheered towards the teachers' seats.

The giant man finally couldn't hold it back and his tears wet his beard.
