Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 196 Instead of blaming her
Sansa smiled and nodded, then suddenly looked up at the sky. "Brother, look, the clouds in the sky seem to be in groups!" she said excitedly.
Joffrey followed Sansa's gaze and looked up at the sky. Indeed, the clouds in the sky were of various shapes, some looked like sheep, and some looked like sheep, making people want to touch them. "Yes, sister, it's a beautiful sight." He exclaimed.
The two continued walking along the river bank, enjoying the harmonious atmosphere. Joffrey's heart was filled with happiness and satisfaction. At this moment, he felt that the world was so beautiful and life was so worth cherishing.
Suddenly, a burst of cheerful laughter broke their silence. They turned around and saw the child running out of the river with a happy expression on his face.
"Hahaha! It's so fun!" the child said excitedly, with a look of joy on his face.
Sansa laughed too. "He seems to be having a lot of fun," she said.
Joffrey smiled and nodded. "Yes, we should enjoy this wonderful time as well," he said.
Arya and her friend were playing happily by the river, chasing each other, their laughter echoing in the clear air. The friend was a girl of the same age, with hair flying like black flames and a mischievous light in her eyes.
"Arya, you can't outrun me!" the girl shouted with a laugh, nimbly dodging Arya's pursuit.
Arya giggled and ran even faster, determined to catch up with her friend and show off her speed and agility.
Just then, Joffrey came over and saw Arya playing with her friends. "Hey, Arya!" he called out. "Are you having fun?"
Arya paused and smiled at Joffrey. "Brother, we are having a great time!" she said excitedly.
But at this moment, Arya's friend suddenly stopped and frowned. "Who are you? Why are you here?" She stared at Joffrey warily with a bad expression.
Joffrey was a little surprised, not understanding why the girl was so wary of him. "I am Arya's brother, Joffrey," he explained. "We are here for a walk by the river."
The girl's expression softened a little when Joffrey spoke. "Oh, I see," she said. "But we are playing and don't want to be disturbed."
Joffrey nodded in understanding. "I'm sorry I didn't notice that," he said. "We'll leave and not disturb your fun."
Arya looked at Joffrey and her friends awkwardly. "Don't be angry, Joffrey is my brother, he won't hurt us." She tried to explain.
But the girl didn't believe it. She still stared at Joffrey warily. "I don't believe you. Get out of here!" she shouted.
Arya looked at the scene in front of her and felt helpless. "Well, let's go," she said to Joffrey.
Joffrey patted Arya's shoulder gently, indicating that she should not mind. "It's okay, Arya," he said, "Let's go somewhere else to play."
After leaving the river, Arya and Joffrey came to a meadow. Arya felt uneasy. Her direwolf seemed a little restless, growling from time to time, as if warning her. She tried to calm herself down, hoping that everything would be fine.
"Arya, there seems to be something wrong with your direwolf." Joffrey reminded her softly, with a little concern.
"Yes, I'm a little worried too." Arya frowned. She tried to ease the direwolf's anxiety, but it didn't seem to have much effect.
At this moment, Arya's direwolf suddenly growled and pounced on Joffrey. Joffrey had no time to esquive, and the wolf's fangs pierced his shoulder. The pain was so severe that he fell to the ground unbearably, and blood immediately stained his clothes red.
"Joffrey!" Arya exclaimed. She ran to Joffrey in a panic and anxiously checked his injuries.
"It's okay, Arya, I'm okay." Joffrey endured the pain and forced a smile. He knew it was not Arya's fault. The direwolf might have been stimulated by something, which was why it attacked so suddenly.
Arya was filled with guilt and worry. She held Joffrey's hand tightly. "I'm sorry, Joffrey. It was my direwolf that hurt you." She choked with sobs and tears welled up in her eyes.
Joffrey shook his head and comforted Arya. "Don't blame yourself, Arya, this is not your fault." He said, "We should treat the wound first, and then find a way to deal with the direwolf."
Arya nodded, tears blurred her eyes, but she tried hard to hold back her tears. "Okay, I'll take good care of you." She wiped her tears hard and began to busy herself with Joffrey's wounds.
Joffrey felt the severe pain in his shoulder, and he knew that it would not be completely healed in a short time. Despite this, he still plucked up the courage and decided to tell his parents about this incident. He knew that this was not to blame Arya, but to seek help and solve the problem.
When he got home, his parents were sitting in the living room drinking tea and chatting happily. "Hey, Joffrey, you're back." His mother greeted warmly.
Joffrey walked up to his parents, his expression serious. "Dad, Mom, something happened to me that I need to tell you," he said, with a hint of pain in his voice.
"What's the matter? What happened?" his father immediately asked with concern.
Joffrey took a deep breath and began to recount what had happened at the river. He told of how Arya's direwolf had suddenly attacked him and how he had been injured. He tried to remain calm and give a detailed account of what had happened.
After hearing this, his parents looked at each other with serious expressions. "This is really unfortunate." His father said after thinking for a moment, "We need to deal with this matter properly and not let it happen again."
Joffrey's mother stroked his shoulder, expressing her concern and comfort. "I'm glad you're all right, Joffrey," she said. "We'll find a way to deal with this."
"Arya may need some help. She may not be able to fully control the emotions of the direwolf." Joffrey put forward his own opinion, "I hope we can help her instead of blaming her."
His parents nodded in agreement. "Yes, we will talk to her and see if we can find a solution," his father said. "In the meantime, you should take good care of your injuries and don't force yourself."
