Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 226 Put down the book immediately
The final battle is about to begin. In this final battle, Harry will be forced to face his greatest fears, understand his connection to Voldemort, and the significance of his fate.
One evening, the students of Hogwarts were enjoying the joy of dinner. Harry sat at the Gryffindor table, sharing his experience of the day with Hermione and Ron.
"Today's flying lesson was so much fun!" Ron said excitedly, showing Harry his latest flying skills.
Harry smiled and nodded, appreciating this peaceful moment. However, a shadow still loomed in his heart, because he knew that the threat of Voldemort still existed.
At this moment, a scream broke the silence. There was a commotion at the door of the hall, and people rushed there.
"What happened?" Hermione asked in surprise.
Harry immediately followed the crowd and came to the door of the hall. He saw a group of people gathered together, looking anxiously at a person on the ground.
"It's Dudley!" Harry exclaimed, and he recognized the man lying on the ground as his cousin Dudley Dursley.
"What's wrong with him?" Ron asked, frowning.
In the middle of the crowd, Harry spotted Vernon and Petunia Dursley, crouching anxiously beside Dudley.
"He...he fell from the upstairs." Penny said crying, her voice trembling.
"Vernon, look at him!" someone shouted.
Vernon shook Dudley's shoulder gently, but Dudley still showed no sign of waking up.
"We need to send him to the hospital for checkup!" someone suggested.
So, a group of people lifted Dudley up and hurried to the hospital.
Harry was filled with anxiety and worry. He knew that this might not be just an accident, but might be the work of Voldemort's followers. He decided to investigate the truth of this matter to protect himself and the people around him.
The next morning, when Harry Potter woke up, he was still worried about Dudley Dursley. He hurriedly put on his school uniform and prepared to go to the hospital to check on his cousin.
In the Hogwarts hospital, Harry met Dudley's mother, his aunt Petunia. Petunia sat beside the bed, stroking Dudley's forehead, her expression full of worry and anxiety.
"Petunia, how's Dudley?" Harry asked softly as he approached.
Penny raised her head, tears glistening in her eyes. "He hasn't woken up yet. The doctor said he was seriously injured and we don't know when he will wake up." Her voice trembled.
Harry felt heavy in his heart, he knew very well that he needed to give Petunia more support and comfort at this time.
"We'll definitely do our best to help him," Harry said gently, "I'll be here if you need any help."
Petunia nodded and looked at Harry gratefully. "Thank you, Harry, you are a good boy."
Harry smiled slightly, then looked at Dudley on the bed. He noticed that Dudley's face was pale and his forehead was covered with bruises, as if he had been seriously injured.
"Aunt, can I sit here with you?" Harry asked.
Petunia nodded and motioned for Harry to sit on the other side of Dudley. Harry sat quietly on the bed and took care of Dudley with Petunia.
In this quiet hospital room, Harry felt a deep worry and helplessness. He knew that Dudley's fate might be closely related to Voldemort's conspiracy, and he must do everything he can to protect his family and friends.
Time passed slowly, and the atmosphere in the hospital room was still heavy. Harry and Petunia talked about Dudley's childhood memories, trying to distract each other from their anxiety.
Suddenly, Dudley's brows frowned slightly, and a sign of awakening appeared on his face.
"Dudley!" Petunia cried with joy and she held his hand tightly.
Harry also felt a glimmer of hope rising in his heart. He stared at Dudley's face quietly, praying that he would wake up soon.
After the news of Dudley's awakening spread, the atmosphere in the hospital became a little more relaxed. Harry, Petunia and Dudley's family all felt a little relieved, although they still didn't know how Dudley's accident happened.
However, at this moment, a knock on the door broke the silence of the hospital.
"Who is it?" Penny turned her head and looked at the door in confusion.
"I'll go open the door." Harry stood up and walked towards the door.
When Harry opened the door, he saw Dudley's uncle, Vernon Dursley, who was dressed in a neat suit and had a look of false concern on his face.
"Oh, it's Harry." Vernon said in a false tone, "I heard that Dudley was injured, so I came to see him."
Harry felt unhappy, he knew that Vernon Dursley didn't really care about Dudley's situation, but came here to find an opportunity to observe their situation, or perhaps for other purposes.
"He is resting now and is not available for reception." Harry said coldly.
Vernon's face changed slightly, but he quickly regained his composure. "Well, I just wanted to comfort you. Tell him I came to see him."
"Okay, I'll pass that on," Harry replied politely, closing the door.
Returning to Petunia's bedside, Harry explained to her and Dudley what had happened.
"Harry, thank you." Petunia looked at him gratefully. "You are so kind."
Harry smiled and shook his head, "Nothing, I just don't think Vernon really cares about Dudley."
Petunia gently held Harry's hand, "I know, but the most important thing right now is that Dudley recovers as soon as possible."
As they were talking, the doctor came into the room, checked Dudley's condition, and gave some medical advice. Dudley still needed rest and observation, but the doctor said that his injuries had improved and he should recover soon.
In the hospital room, Harry and Petunia gradually relaxed. Although they still had doubts about Dudley's accident, at least he was now resting safely in bed, and the hope of recovery was becoming brighter.
Harry stayed in the hospital with Petunia and Dudley. Petunia had been taking care of Dudley, while Harry stayed by their side silently, occasionally chatting with Dudley about some light topics, trying to distract him.
One afternoon, Harry was sitting by the window reading a magic book when he suddenly heard Petunia's voice.
"Harry, can you help me go to the magical potion shop? I want to buy some Dudley's medicine." Petunia looked at Harry and said pleadingly.
Harry immediately put down the book in his hand and nodded. "Of course, I'll buy it for you right away."
