Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 231 reveals a hint of deep thought
"You...don't kill me." The old man said tremblingly, his voice full of fear and despair.
My aunt looked at him coldly, with a look of determination and warning in her eyes. "I won't kill you, but you must leave here and never come back."
The old man nodded dejectedly and hurried away from the room. My aunt breathed a sigh of relief, her heart filled with relief and gratitude. In this life-and-death struggle, she successfully protected Dudley and defeated the strange man.
At the critical moment when my aunt was fighting with the old man, a black wolf sleeping on the bed suddenly woke up. Its eyes flashed with ferocity and it scanned the room vigilantly.
Sensing the danger to its master, the black wolf jumped off the bed without hesitation, its hair standing on end, its canine teeth bared, ready to attack the old man. Its body was agile and flexible, and every leap was like black lightning, stirring up storms in the room.
When the old man saw the black wolf rushing towards him, a trace of fear flashed in his eyes, but he still showed no weakness. He raised the dagger in his hand, ready to fight the black wolf.
"Damn beast!" the old man growled in a low voice, his eyes full of anger and irritation.
The black wolf growled and rushed towards the old man like an arrow. Its claws flashed with cold light, so sharp that it seemed to tear the old man into pieces.
Seeing this, my aunt's heart tightened, and she knew that she had to stop this brutal fight as soon as possible. She strode towards the black wolf and the old man, her voice full of commands and warnings.
"Stop!" My aunt's voice resounded throughout the room like thunder. "Both of you stop!"
The black wolf stopped attacking after hearing the order from its master, but still stared at the old man vigilantly, with its body ready to deal with any emergency at any time.
When the old man saw his aunt, his heart sank, and he knew he could not escape. He put down the dagger in his hand, knelt on the ground, and apologized in a low voice.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have hurt you." The old man's voice was full of regret and remorse, "Please forgive me."
My aunt looked at him coldly, her heart filled with anger and dissatisfaction. "Why did you attack us? Who are you?"
The old man was silent for a while, and finally heaved a long sigh. "I am Dudley's biological father."
When my aunt heard this, she was shocked. She couldn't believe her ears. Dudley's biological father? Could this be true?
She stared at the old man, trying to find the answer from his eyes. At this moment, she felt an indescribable shock and astonishment, as if the whole world had stopped.
"Why did you attack us?" my aunt asked, her voice full of doubt and confusion.
The old man was silent for a while, and finally said: "Because I... because I am afraid of losing him."
His voice was full of bitterness and sadness, as if he was telling a tragic and beautiful story. My aunt felt the endless pain and sadness in his heart, and she couldn't help but feel pity.
"You can leave here." Aunt said coldly, "but I warn you, don't come back."
The old man lowered his head, stood up silently, and left quietly. My aunt looked at his back, her heart filled with endless thoughts and feelings. Perhaps, he was not a completely evil person, but was troubled by fate and tortured by pain.
My aunt stared at the old man's back as he left, and an indescribable uneasiness surged in her heart. Why would a strange old man suddenly appear here and want to hurt her? This question troubled her and made her feel uneasy.
On this dark and cold night, my aunt sat by the bed, immersed in silence. The candlelight in the room flickered, casting shadows and jumping on the walls. The black wolf curled up in the corner, staring at every corner of the room vigilantly. It could feel its owner's uneasiness and anxiety.
"Who do you think that old man is?" Aunt raised her head and looked at Heilang, her voice full of confusion and anxiety.
The black wolf closed his eyes, his nose twitching slightly, as if he was thinking about his aunt's question. His ears moved slightly, as if he was listening to the movement outside the room.
My aunt was lost in thought, thinking back to the words and actions of the strange man. His eyes were cold and fierce, and his words revealed a hidden conspiracy. My aunt began to think that he was not acting on impulse, but had a hidden purpose.
"Why did he hurt me?" my aunt asked to herself, her voice full of confusion and distress.
The black wolf opened its eyes and looked at my aunt, as if trying to communicate with her. It quietly stood up, walked to the window, and gently pushed it open with its nose, revealing the dark night outside.
As my aunt watched the black wolf's actions, a sense of enlightenment surged in her heart. Perhaps this black wolf knew something that could help her uncover the truth of this mystery.
"Do you know what happened?" Auntie approached the black wolf, waiting for its answer.
The black wolf turned its head and stared at my aunt, as if exchanging information with her. It groaned, as if recalling what had just happened.
"That old man is not an ordinary person." Black Wolf's voice echoed in the room, "He is a magician."
When my aunt heard this, she was shocked. She couldn't believe her ears. A magician? Isn't that something that only exists in legends?
"Magician?" My aunt repeated these two words, and all kinds of legends and mysterious stories emerged in her mind.
Black Wolf nodded and continued, "They have powerful strength and mysterious magic that can control everything."
My aunt's heart sank as she began to understand the true identity of the strange man. He was a magician who came here to hurt her and Dudley. This was all a carefully planned conspiracy.
During Black Wolf's statement, Auntie began to recall the course of Dudley Dursley's illness. She remembered his recent abnormalities: loss of appetite, frequent headaches, insomnia and depression. These symptoms were initially attributed to physical weakness and cold weather, but now it seems that the situation may be much more serious than she thought.
"Are you saying that the old man might have something to do with Dudley's condition?" Aunt asked nervously, her voice full of worry and concern.
Black Wolf nodded, his eyes revealing a trace of deep thought. "I feel that there is a strong dark power in him, and that power seems to have affected Dudley."
Her aunt's heart sank as she began to realize that things might be more complicated than she thought. A strange wizard, a sudden attack, and Dudley's recent abnormalities all pointed to an ominous omen.
