Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 29: The King of Chess Plays Chess, Wins Half a Piece Weasley

Seeing this scene before their eyes, the three of them couldn't help but believe it.

But it's a bit too weird.

Dudley punched the dog head and made it shut up. He then grabbed the dog's hair, sat on Lu Wei's neck, and swung his vinegar jar-sized fist at the other two dog heads.

If Harry and the others had read "Water Margin" or heard of a man named Wu Erlang in East Land, they would have exclaimed in surprise.

The three-headed dog, which could show its prowess in front of most people, now let out painful whimpers from all three heads. That was the only manifestation of the extreme pain that even this magical animal could not endure.

Lu Wei never imagined that the boy in front of him, who was only slightly taller than his peers, could swing his fists so skillfully that he couldn't recover for a long time.

It would be fine if he couldn't resist, but this kid kept saying something sarcastic.

"Three-headed dog, huh?"

"Fantastic beasts, huh?"

"Listening to music, huh?"

"Teach you to recognize Brother D's iron fist!"

"You bastard, just give me the defeat! Mouth!"

Amid Dudley's weird trash talk, Fluffy neighed and resigned himself to the ground, he was scared of the pain.

"Go away!"

Dudley nodded and threw a final punch at the head of the dog in the middle of Fluffy. The three-headed dog whined and moved its huge body, revealing the trap door.

"Go open the door, what are you standing there for?"

Dudley shouted loudly, and the three stunned people rushed forward quickly and opened the door in a hurry. The door was pitch black and they couldn't see the bottom. Harry jumped in first, followed by Ron. Hermione was afraid that Dudley would get into trouble, so she looked back quickly, only to see that the three-headed dog, which was so aggressive just now, was now lying on the ground on its own initiative, with its short tail wagging, and an expression of extreme flattery.

"If I had known it was so easy to solve, why would I have kept trying?"

Dudley jumped through the trapdoor, still mumbling something.

The entanglement of the Devil's Snare did not bring any extra fear to the team of four. Under the faint blue flame emitted by Hermione's wand, the vines rolled like living things, avoiding the flames with light and heat, and released Harry and Ron who were unfortunately caught.

"Luckily you paid attention in Herbology class."

Ron was prepared and patted off the unnecessary slime on his body.

"This way."

Harry pointed to a corridor at the side - that was the only way to go.

In the first room, there was nothing Dudley could do to find the key. After all, Harry was the most talented seeker. The key jumped like a live fish until it was inserted into the keyhole, and then it fled away.

Dudley couldn't help but find it a little difficult to understand. When he watched the movie and read the novel, he thought the scenes were very interesting. But today, when he was in the scene himself, all he had left was a face covered in sweat.

What I mean is, if you don't want anyone to crack it, why not just not put the key in here?

What kind of person is Voldemort? If he wants to crack this mechanism, let alone entering according to the rules, even if he uses "shatter to pieces" throughout the process, the stone chamber will collapse. What's the point of this level that is like a puzzle game?

While thinking about all sorts of things, Dudley followed the three people to the second room.

"Wow, a new concept senior activity hall, this thing is fun."

Looking at the chess pieces that were taller than himself and the huge chessboard that was as big as a square, Dudley whistled subconsciously.

"Stop making jokes. How are we going to get there?"

Hermione looked around and saw that there was a door behind the white chess piece opposite them.

"Isn't it obvious? We have to play chess to get to the other end of the room."

Ron loved playing chess, which was quite different from his outward reckless behavior. He walked to a black knight and touched the horse under the knight's crotch. The stone immediately came alive, and the horse anxiously pawed the soil under its hooves - or the chessboard, while the knight wearing a helmet and without facial features turned his head to "look" at Ron.

"It seems that we need to replace the four black pieces here."

"Harry, you take the place of the bishop; Hermione, you take the castle."

"Dudley, you..."

Ron quickly arranged everyone's positions, and the chess pieces also turned around very smartly to make room for Harry and the others.

"Me? I'll be a soldier."

Dudley grabbed a black soldier at random, raised his hand, and the huge stone was thrown out of the chessboard, jumping like a living thing, as if it was cursing.

According to the rules, the white chess piece moves first, and a white pawn on the opposite side moves forward two spaces.

"Wait, no, this is the endgame!"

After borrowing a horse from the black knight, Ron climbed up to take a look and finally discovered something was wrong.

On his black side, there were only two pawns, a knight, two castles and two bishops left.

On the white side, it only symbolically lost one pawn.

It just seemed like there was a special arrangement, with all the chess pieces standing at their original starting positions, which was why Ron didn't notice anything wrong at the first time.

"It's bad, we are not all here now!"

Ron's claws were a little numb, as he had not yet studied the endgame much.

On the white side, it was clear that she was getting impatient. The crowned White Queen stomped her feet impatiently, stirring up a cloud of dust that flew towards Dali, who was in the front.

"What the hell!"

Dudley cursed subconsciously and was about to jump up.

"Don't be impulsive! We are pawns now!"

Harry quickly spoke out to dissuade him, and Dudley suppressed his anger angrily.

"Then... let's take this step first!"

Ron pondered for a moment and quickly made a decision.

Even if it is a dead end, an unfair duel, he must win!

His brain was working rapidly, and Ron was fully focused at this moment, just like a brave commander, issuing various orders quickly.

I have to say that Ron does have a superhuman talent in chess. Under his command, a pawn was used as a flaw on the front line, which resulted in a series of attacks from the white side. However, this piece was in a very good position and happened to be stuck on the path that the white side had to take to attack. In Dudley's words, he did a great job of "blocking the horse's legs".

Even the most powerful White Queen who could fly around could only exert pressure and did not dare to attack rashly - the eager Bishop and Ron's dark horse were all keeping a close eye on her movements.

I don't know how much time passed before the situation returned to a balance.

Black lost a pawn, a castle, and a bishop.

The white chess pieces were similar to the black chess pieces, except for the addition of a white queen. The edge of the chessboard was filled with white chess pieces lying in all directions.

"Almost there... Let me think about it..."

Ron pondered, and soon his voice sounded as if he had made some kind of resolution.

"I must be eaten!"
